Are bizarre and very nasty creatures. They are usually scavengers who feed on carrion, although they kill mules, cattle, donkeys, and young rhinos. Their jaws are so powerful more than a hundred shears, their strength so great, and they are so robust that only a large number of big and ferocious "fighting" dogs can get the better of one of them. Yet they are very cowardly when they are hunted. They hide as snakes of the worst species, camouflaging themselves in the environment in which they live.
