I feel like i need to address this because i find it’s an issue many people, especially newcomers, have in RP.

There’s no reason to be anxious or hesitant if you want to talk to me. I will happily accept a random starter, or a random tag, or an inbox message! Even if we’ve never interacted or even acknowledged one another, i will still HAPPILY interact with you!

You’re not bothering me. You’re not annoying. You’re not making me uncomfortable. I LIKE to interact with new people, it’s very exciting and fun!

Please, PLEASE, don’t be hesitant when sending in ANYTHING. I’m having a lot more fun than your anxiety tells you!

What are some aspects of Alexandre do you wish you could write more of?

(Sorry this has taken me so long!!!)

So I honestly wish I could write more about his family- mostly his wife, kids, and father. I feel sometimes he’s just too much of an old, lonely man and his father definitely paved the way for his greatness as well as his wife helping shape him to be the incredible man that he is.

Plotting/Shipping call with your favorite orange!!

First and foremost, I am still only romantically shipping Will with Cat. Just want to make that clear. 

However I am open to all other types of relationships such as friendships, hate ships, childhood friends, classmates (if a college thread), frienemies, etc. 

I know I need to update my verses page desperately, and I’ll try to get that fixed within the coming weeks. For now, feel free to IM me on William or on @bcntemps to discuss a thread or relationship and we can work something out. I will try to explain the verses I have already established.

5.) Name one thing you love about your character

I truly love SO many things about Bontemps! But probably my number one thing that I admire him for is his loyalty. Like he is the #1 hype man/wing man in all of France. His loyalty to Louis is so wholesome and good and I feel like that’s such an incredible trait for someone to have. 

7.) Who is your favorite muse to RP with that is not yours?

I really love my thread with @ladycatherinegordon along with @demontespan, @louisleroisoleil, @madamehenriette, and @mcnsieur. Pretty much everyone, hahaha!

12.) What made you start RPing your muse?

I watched Versailles S1 back in like February or March? Can’t remember exactly and I had other muses at that time but I always said at some point I would RP Bontemps because he is such a funny and underrated character in the show. I had the URL saved for months but then when I was able to watch S2 I decided to officially make him his own blog. Honestly it started out as a joke but I did plan on taking him seriously as a muse. I’m so happy I decided to play him and I’ve met such wonderful people in other RP communities so I am forever thankful for that!

Bontemps had left Versailles in such a rush that he hoped he'd given enough time for the residents in Cornwall to accommodate his stay with such short notice. Louis had been bedridden for only a few days but it was enough to have Bontemps fearing the worst for his health. Although it did not take much for him to panic over these types of situations, but it was his duty to ensure the proper safety and perfect health for the King.

An unfamiliar voice from a man snapped him back to reality from his worried pacing in his private quarters just upstairs. He hurriedly ran down the steps, walking forward briskly and motioning for the staff to leave them be for now. “Dr. Enys, is it?” Bontemps questioned, briefly eyeing the younger gentlemen before him. “I am Bontemps, his Majesty’s valet. I thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet with me,” he stated a bit flustered.

There was a rumour that a powerful member of the French court was visiting Cornwall. Why, none were entirely sure. Dwight hadn’t given the matter much thought - he had patients, his new wife and child to worry about - yet it did return to his attention when a letter reached him, asking him to visit the very place it was rumoured the man was staying. 

“Dr Enys,” he introduced himself to the household staff, handing over the letter he had been given for them to examine. “I was asked to come here.”
