Does The Last Days follow the original Inuyasha canon? TLD takes place 1 year after Naraku is killed and the jewel disappears. However, I’ve changed the ending, the well is still there for Kagome to travel between worlds, and my characters are older. In fact, Kagome is 18 in my comic. You’ll find out how everything differs in Chapter 3. Stay tuned!  Is this a romantic fan comic? Yes. I created this comic because I wasn’t satisfied with Inuyasha’s and Kagome’s relationship at the end of the story. I’m instead going to write and illustrate my own ending. This will be a more mature take on the story. And a more pratical Kagome with the way she dresses, battles demons, and thinks about her relationships and future. 

What? No battles?! There will be blood in the future. I plan on showing Inuyasha truly tapping into his dark side. Kagome’s dark side too. Plus, I’ve never drawn fight scenes before. I need to stretch that mental muscle. Again, I want a more realistic take on their story. They’re warriors aren’t they?  How do you put your comics together?  Why do you do this comic?  How long does a page take you?  Why can’t we get pages fast?! I answer all these questions and share a time-lapse video of my process: Click Here How often do you post? I usually post 1 page a week on Sat, Sun, or Mon.  What tools do you use? An iPad Pro with an Apple pencil. I use the app Procreate. 

Why don’t you respond to comments?  I apologize for not replying to comments on my posts. Especially, when people are so kind with their compliments or ask specific questions. LiquidAshesArt is a secondary blog. Tumblr  won’t allow me to respond with my LiquidAshesArt username, which would be confusing 😖.
