Sopo's dance is both joyful (she obviously loves to dance!) and sad (she probably won't have a lot of occasion now as a young wife and soon a mother).

When Merab and the rest were watching Main Ensemble practice - I guess the dance was simd (სიმდი).

Anyway: in most of Georgian Traditional Dances man and woman dance around never touching each other and it resembles some kind of rooster mating dance...

They say you look weird. They wonder how you can live with only a half of your body. Some even say you're disgusting. And I've heard they called you a "walking head"...

They all still think you're an animal. It doesn't matter that you learned to speak. Even my own brother, after hearing some words you said, asked me: "What's the trick?".

How could any of them believe you are a person?

I know you are.

Those are my OC's (from 2011): Ain and Ida. Ida is young, I'm not sure if she's 18. She somehow appeared in centaurs' world (no, even I don't know how, maybe travelling trough alternative universes while being in a coma, but it's not important really).

If you can't guess what these two might be killed for - simply imagine that a small town society of centaurs is not any more tolerant with breaking nature/gods'/God's laws than any other small society in the world...

My cushions designs as a Thank You Gift for my old Polish friend who in 2017 let me spend 3 days with her and her French husband in Hann. Münden, Germany (one of the most beautiful towns I have ever been in my life, gonna share some photos the other day). She was expecting a baby so there came the idea of the annoying puppy and the overenthusiastic kitten😉

Kinto Irakli in #bird version ATWD

Kinto could not be a rooster. So he is a woodpecker.

I tried to give him some of a charm of Irakli from the movie AND THEN WE DANCED / და ჩვენ ვიცეკვეთ (2019), dir. Levan Akin.

I think Irakli's spontaneous and silly kintouri dance performance for tourists on the street of Tbilisi was sooo much Kinto thing! 😆

And also woodpecker-Irakli is now a perfect match for my rooster-Merab poster fanart in #bird version ATDW !😍

Could it be that nobody before me made a fanart of Irakli in this scene?!?😳

I mean just look at it: you have an awesome gorgeous looking character who's name is Irakli (Georgian version of the name "Heracles") - showing off his dancing skills and most probably appearing like a demi-god in Merabi's eyes...

I tried to suggest the branches outside the window could resemble a lightning. To make it feel more greek-god-like, you know

The only thing that turned out quite nice in the "failed" version was the face:

Now if to be frank I already tried drawing this movie scene once - exactly a year ago, in October 2022. I wasted few hours on this, yet failed miserably and it was so painful I wanted not even touch it... But now a year has passed and I'm happy that I did try again!!!💪

Empowerment

Ever since I died - not a single sensation evokes emotions in me.

Nothing wrong may happen to my undead body any more thus everything I sense is just a raw experience.

And when it's cold - I only sense the cold but I'm not cold myself.

When it's uncomfortable - I know it is, but I don't feel uncomfortable myself.

Now I can also sense pain - and not care at all...

My vampire OC Robert being neither young nor old, neither boy nor man, neither dead nor alive... and his beggining obsession with testing his limits. Looking at the mirror he only sees his decaying black blood materialising on the blade - which reminds him he only could become material by dying completely.

I felt an urgent need to redraw this old piece I was never really satisfied with (although eyes and fingers look better than in the new one)

Bonus: I love the photographic vibe of reducting my sketch to 3 colours only!😋
