Bro... go shift nobody can make you shift. You have to make that choice. Commit, lock in whatever term you prefer. Shift!
Do a routine try a new method you made, or somebody else's. Whatever works for you! Go forth, don't sit on your ass day dreaming about that reality. Actively pursue it, go shift!
Gl ppl! You're gonna shift regardless of what state of consciousness you're in. Or wherever you are. Shifting is like Thanos it's inevitable. :D

Ey, so it's my first time posting, but here's my experience with shifting to give you a perspective on having mental illness, and learning disabilities can change your view whilst shifting. And some general advice for shifting.
So first of all to preface, I'm a trans guy, Borderline Personality Disorder(BPD), Autism, Adhd, and learning disabilities. So I you don't want to associate or hear about that skedaddle kindly from my sight. I don't care about your negativity toss that garbage in the incinerator. Thank you.
Having these conditions can drastically affect your perspective in life. So, of course, it's gonna affect other things. IT'S A COW FARM THERE'S GONNA BE COWS OUTSIDE!
So, with that in mind, if you do have a mental illness and / or have struggled greatly. It's natural to assume something like shifting is hard when you've had to struggle to survive. But it's okay no matter what persist I know.. it's not all sunshine and rainbows trusting yourself. You'll get there, no doubt. Keep going. There are people out there who will support you in this community. Reach out. It's easy, hell. Even if you have anxiety, it's a few minutes of unease, then hit send. Currently, I'm feeling very nervous typing this out.
Take your mental health seriously, if you feel burnt out, or something along the lines of that. It's okay to recuperate, then go about whatever makes works for you to shift. For the love of all things unholy, don't force yourself if you aren't up to it! Shifting is not hard. You could accidentally do it whilst farting okay?
It's okay to feel helpless sometimes, but if it's constant, please put shifting on the back burner. Seek help if medications work for you take them. Find coping mechanisms that work for you. I struggle a lot as well, but you can't let it get you down forever. Wallowing in your own inability to make a choice or self-pity won't help you.
Also, treat yourself nicely it's okay to have a wide range of emotions. Pamper yourself you deserve it. Personally, I've forced myself some days to go about and shift. Guess what? I wanted to crawl into a whole a wither away. The psyche ward felt more comfy than the constant forcing myself to do my shifting routine.(Personal experience)
Find a way that works for you. And what that actually means is that you can try methods, tweak them, make your own, use a subliminal, put earplugs in and vibe, or not even use a method you don't need one. Customize that bitch like your own room. In fact, think of it like your room. You have certain tastes you cater to. Sure, yours might look similar to another, but it's still different, minutly, albeit. So customize!!!Nobody can make you shift. You have to make the choice. Make the godamn choice. Shift. I'm going to shift now gl ppl happy shifting.
