Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that I have great maternal instincts. That may be what makes me a good teacher. I treat all my children (yes, they are mine for a majority of the year) as though they are my own. They are sweet, frustrating, passionate, and annoying all at the same time, and that's why I love them so much. Some of them even call me "Mom" either on purpose or on accident. Every time they do, it warms my heart and brings me such joy.
I tried (and failed) to conceive a child for almost a decade. I finally came to terms with that, and decided to pour all my desires to create life into my writing. The result of all that passion was my play Basic Glitch, which premiered in 2019 at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival. I was invited to do an Encore! performance of Basic Glitch for the 2022 Broadway Bound Theatre Festival and I am so excited to explore this world once again.
I may never have children of my own, but I can still find joy in creations, whatever they may be. You can increase my joy too by donating to the Basic Glitch Indiegogo Campaign. I'm producing this show on my own, and I'm just a poor teacher. Any assistance you can provide (monetary, sharing this post, telling your friends, etc.) will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for listening to my story and for any help you can provide.

The Customer Service Office at The Center is here to remind you that the unpaid interns, like Lino, are to be ignored & under appreciated. Please do not feed them, smile at them, or talk to them. Confused? Come see Basic Glitch on Theatre Row at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival August 6th, 7th, 9th, or 21st! Let it never be said that students don’t repay their teachers. A poor college student gave money to our production and I’m grateful. Every little bit helps. Thanks, Landrue!

A Basic Glitch exclusive look at one of my favorite props for the show - how adorable is this?! This bundle of cuteness is handmade in Mexico and will be traveling to NYC to bless everyone with good vibes and good luck. Happy Memorial Day from everyone at Basic Glitch!
