I went to my first furry con a few days ago, and I had a really fun time! It felt really nice to be surrounded by others like me. Plus, one of the main artists for the convention (who's panel on character design I attended) was also therian! They were a cat therian. It made me very happy to meet more people like me, especially since I don't get out very often. 10/10, would attend again.

I rewatched the disney movie "Bolt" recently, and I realized it was such an awakening for me. I wanted to be him so bad. I mean, there's an ENTIRE section of the movie dedicated to learning how to be a dog. If that's not therian culture idk what is.

In other news, I'm going (along with my girlfriend) to my first furry convention soon-ish! I'm very excited. I would consider myself to have been a part of the furry fandom since I was about 12 maybe (fun fact: fell into furry stuff because of warrior cats). But I've always lived in rural places for most of my life, nowhere near conventions, and I've never had much disposable income to be able to spend on furry things. But now the stars have aligned, and I am so ready!

The urge to grab a pillow or chew toy in my teeth and shake my head all around while growling when I'm overwhelmed by any kind of emotion is unparalleled.

Thinking about the absolute euphoria these kinds of hats would give me as a pup. They changed my brain chemistry.

Although it's meant for furries, I feel like a Jay's boingy tail should be given to every canine related therian as their god-given right. It should be a law.

Fine Dining

Thinking about a core memory of mine when I was a puppy, and I went to the renaissance faire, and I got a tail for the first time, and I was so so happy, and would constantly wag it. That is until, the loop that attached it broke, which also damaged the tail itself, so it wasn't wearable anymore :( I was devastated, and my mom didn't understand why. I didn't understand why I was so upset about it at the time.... Now I know why I've held onto that devastation for so long.

Y'know, I really should've known something was up, when the urge to hunt and eat prey has never left my body, it's been there since I was a child. (Also the urge to eat animal kibble).
