UNOFFICIAL HIATUS :     so, because i keep it real with you guys 100% i’m finally getting around to make a post about where i’ve been and what joe’s been up to. if you haven’t noticed, joe muse has been lacking since the beginning of the year unfortunately. however, i will be headed to TOCCOA next week, so hopefully muse will be inspired when i’m running up that god forsaken mountain known as CURAHEE. until then, this is my semi - official hiatus notice. finally posted --- i’m always so torn at ever posting one because it seriously PAINS me to leave this blog behind. but yes, joe now = hiatus. <3

Many methods were used to gain the necessary information from the prisoners we captured without torturing them. A little theatrical setting [was used] to create tension and terrifying thoughts in the P.O.W. The apprehension, just waiting to be interrogated, not being allowed to relieve their bowels or urinate, was torturous in itself. But these were our orders when we captured a German.
