weird day to have been an rt fan several years ago

for the theater mode enjoyers: unfortunately, the entire series was taken down from rooster teeth’s website around a week ago:

as explained by chelsea, all of the episodes had to be taken down because rt lost the rights to the films that were used in the show. on the bright side, excluding the aux episodes, every other episode has been backed up to the internet archive. it’s separated by group: achievement hunter, funhaus, and cow chop.

How did Burnie Burns create one of the most evocative portrayals of what it means to be a woman character in a male centric show, the idea of being made into a projection of a memory to the point where you are never allowed to be your own person, the idea that all they’ll remember of you is your failure, and how it is programmed into you, being not a person but a memory, to always try and always fail…. how do you feel about the rt podcast rejuvenation! i love armando, griff & andrew but im frustrated that the full episodes wont be posted to youtube. overall i love all the changes except for only segments being posted to youtube

hi!! so unfortunately, i don't keep up with rt super well anymore! i've been on a bit of a nostalgia binge recently but not really watching recent stuff so this is first i've heard, though i did hear barbara/gavin/gus (? i think) tapped out of the podcast.

when i first read this i was worried they made it first only, at least it is free on their site. that's always annoying bc their website ui is nowhere near as good as youtube, but idk maybe it's a good business decision for them i wouldn't know.

but i'm glad you're enjoying it!!
