Be Somebody to Someone 1/4
You’ve lived your entire life in Forks, Washington without anyone paying too close attention to you. Then you befriend the new girl and suddenly you find yourself friends with the unexpected. And maybe even something more if a certain shapeshifter stops denying the Fates.
PART ONE | PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOUR
Tumblr media
Words: 5.1K Author’s Note: If this receives 100 notes, I will post part two as soon as possible instead of waiting for next Friday. Happy reading! Just so you know, reader indulges in edibles. I’ve never been high a day in my life, so everything in here is purely made up. Also, it’s been a while since I’ve seen Twilight, so I forgot if Edward was “friendly” with Bella before Tyler nearly mowed her down.

Overwhelmed
Fem!sensitive!reader v soft!dom!eddie
Overview: hyper sensitivity can be awful. But you begun to find out it's a blessing in disguise with Eddie Munson touching you.
AN: This was a drabble which turned into a long one, whoops! No use of Y/N, pure indulgence on my part due to my neuro divergent ass.
Warnings: reader uses she/her pronouns, smutty mc smutt smutt, NSFW (minors I will chase you with a broom) bit angsty, bit fluffy, female oral receiving, lap riding, also I'm english so bear with me and the American-isms!
7k words
Ever since you were a kid you were sensitive. Loud noises got to you. Not necessarily single noises. It was usually the painful overlay of sounds, mixing and mingling, overwhelming you until you couldn't think. Emotions could be problematic. It seemed that everything affected you more than others. Dizzying highs and earth shattering lows. If someone gave you negative feedback it wore down on you for far longer than it should. The pain was palpable, you could almost taste it.
Touch sensitivity affected you the most. It got to you on a daily basis. No one normal really picks up on how much other people touch you. It's constant; an arm brushing against yours in passing, fingers skimming against your own handing over coins or a pen, a hand at the small of your back when inching past you. Every touch from someone you didn't know or didn't like made your skin crawl. Even wearing a slightly itchy jumper could be hell.
It was even worse with someone you liked. An accidental swipe of a hand, a knee resting against yours, it could send lightning bolts up your spine. It was something you've always had to deal with, and managed to control quite well, until you became friends with Eddie Munson.
You befriended the little band of outcasts mostly out of convenience. Safety in numbers. One day a seat was free on their table in the cafeteria and you asked if you could sit there. The teenage boys gawked at you in silence, all except Eddie. He had stood up and flashed a debonair smile at you, bowing and offering you the seat. You took it gratefully, mumbled a thank you, and proceeded to eat your lunch with your head in your book.
Each day it seemed the same seat was free, next to Eddie. Each day you sat, and each day you opened up more and more to the lovable weirdos surrounding you. Little by little you had been indoctrinated into their gang and it pleased you more than you were prepared to admit. It escalated from just lunch, to being a key member of their D&D party, Hellfire, since they were in sore need of a cleric. You were slowly shedding your rough exterior, the walls you placed around yourself for protection. Not completely though, not yet. You never shared how you felt, how things got to you sometimes. How sensitive you were.
That only got more difficult when you realised just how much you liked Eddie. Suddenly that flash of a smile would make you weak at the knees. You'd see him running his hand through his hair, palm coming to rest on the back of his neck, and you could barely breathe. It's like your attraction to him sucked the air out of your lungs. That shoulder length messy hair, the slim but powerful build, that damn smile. It was all too much. The biggest problem of all though? Eddie was a toucher.
You were sure he didn't even realise, but it was continuous. It was like a compunction. It was innocent enough, but it affected you so much. Every time he grabbed you by the arm it made you shiver. If he slung his arm around your shoulder you were practically quivering. Worst of all was the hugs. He would pull you in for a crushing bear hug and it was like your legs turned to jelly.
Last night at the weekly Hellfire meeting it happened again. You were all celebrating your victory after a particularly drawn out battle. You usually held back a bit being the party's only healer but this time you'd had to step up and had managed to land the final blow. The boys had shouted and jumped up, celebrating the victory with vigor. Eddie had beamed at you and reached out, stroking your cheek with his thumb. "Atta girl" he grinned at you. And what did you do? You fucking whimpered. You felt the blood rush to your cheeks and you froze, staring at his deep brown eyes. Eddie stared back, brow furrowed but smiling, like he was trying to figure something out. As soon as the moment happened, it was gone. He moved his hand and you had stared down into your lap, trying to will the blood from your face. It appeared no one else had noticed, too busy making noise to see what had occurred. Eddie had tried to touch your arm again at the end of the session but you had grabbed your bag and high tailed it out of there, much to the confusion of the rest of the party.
Today you were heading into the cafeteria, nearly dreading it. Why had he stroked your face? What the hell was that about? Was that just Eddie being Eddie? He was always so touchy feely. You tried to shrug it off, took a deep breath and headed to your usual seat.
Eddie beamed at your approach. You flashed a tight lipped smile back and perched on the bench, eyes darting around the rest of the group. Dustin was mid sentence, clearly berating Mike about some video game.
"Seriously, you take the enchanted sword and then move through the forest, defeat the goblins and you're practically at the tower. It's not hard, a five year old could do it!" He gestures emphatically. Mike shakes his head.
You pipe up "Dustin, seriously. Tone."
"What, what did I say?" He shrugs at you.
"Not what you said it's the way you said it." Mike adds.
"I know what tone means moron!"
You ignore the rest of the argument and look over to Eddie. He's not paying the slightest bit of attention to the pair. His eyes are trained solely on you. He doesnt shy away when you catch him staring, if anything it seems to spur him on. Theres a glint in his eye that you aren't used to seeing. You cough and look away.
At the end of the lunch period you move to get up and go to class, but Eddie's hand on your wrist stops you. The feel of his rough calloused fingers on your pulse point sends waves throughout your body. You drag your eyes to meet his.
"Everything OK? You seem a bit, off." His words seem genuine, but theres that grin again. You feel like he knows, he must do, and every move is to torture you.
"Um... I'm okay Eddie, it's just all a bit, much." You struggle out, trying to ignore the way his fingers lingered on your wrist.
He finally gets go, frowning.
"I just wanted to check, thought you were mad at me yesterday or something."
"No no no, opposite of mad! I just get, er overwhelmed is all." You babble at him.
"Oh okay, still not sure I get it but glad you're not mad at me." He stops and looks down, avoiding your eyes for a moment. "You wanna join me and Jeff and Gareth on Friday? We're gonna pile round Jeffs, watch a movie?" He looks up at you and you can't help but be reminded of a puppy, those big brown eyes impossible to say no to.
"...sure Eddie." At that he beams at you and strokes your arm. Your breath hitches, you don't know if he notices.
"Cool, we're meeting at 8. See you sweetheart." And he leaves. You stand there dazed for a second. Sweetheart. That was new. Maybe Eddie does like you. Smiling, you head to your next lesson.
***********************
When Friday rolls around you're a trembling ball of nerves. What if you had misread? What if he was just being nice?
You dress casually; a pair of black jeans, a black tank top and sneakers. Not anything special, but the top was lower cut than the usual plain coloured t shirts you wore at school. You threw on a red flannel shirt leaving it unbuttoned, just in case it was chilly at Jeff's house, and walked your way over there since it was only a couple of blocks away. You had come prepared with snacks. What teenage boy doesn't love food? You had an enormous bag of popcorn and a Tupperware full of homemade cookies. The cookies were probably a bit much but you had made them simply for something to do with all your nervous energy and it seemed a shame to waste them.
Walking up Jeff's driveway you check the time. 20:08. Not too late, you didn't want to be rude, but you didn't want to be the first there. Ringing the bell, you heard footsteps running to the door. Jeff answers, swinging the door wide, and waves at you to come in.
"Stairs just to the left, everyone's in the basement." He shouts over his shoulder, turning to the kitchen to get drinks. You make your way downstairs. It's slightly dark, but cozy. Theres a very old green loveseat with a coffee table in front of it, strewn with snacks, beer bottles and an ashtray. In front of that is a fairly new TV and VCR. Gareth is taking over half of the couch. To one side of the room there's a huge purple beanbag. Eddie is lounging in it.
"Hey sweetheart." He grins and waves a hand at you. Gareth greets you and you move  to put your snacks on the table.
"Hey, cookies, you can come again!" You hear Jeff behind you. You giggle at that. He passes you a beer.
"No worries I had some time to kill you know." Before you can sit on the sofa Jeff collapses onto it ungracefully, handing beers to Gareth and Eddie.
Faltering for a second, you look around the room for another chair.
"Plenty of room on this if you dont mind sharing? I don't bite!" Eddie looks at you, grinning. Shit.
"Not worried about your mouth, I'm worried about your hands." You quip at him. Jeff and Gareth laugh, and Jeff starts putting the movie in the VCR, some slasher flick you hadn't seen.
"Hey, young lady, I'm a perfect gentlemen." Eddie puts his hands in the air as if surrendering, and winks at you.
No use arguing the point. As you are making your way over, he shuffles up. You sit down carefully, but it doesnt seem to matter how you sit, you roll right into Eddie. You were pushed right up against him, your side flush with his. He lowers his arms and drapes one over your shoulder. You sit, legs squeezed together, picking at the label on your beer bottle, trying hard not to think about Eddie's warmth seeping into you. Why was he so warm?
The cookies were a hit, as was the popcorn. About halfway through the movie Jeff gets up to get everyone another beer. You take that as an opportunity to take your shirt off. Eddie was like a furnace and you needed some sort of relief. Sitting back down you nearly sit on top of him, the back of your shoulder flush to his chest.
"Sorry Eddie I'll move-"
"No problem princess this is comfier." And he rests his chin on the bare skin on your shoulder. The arm that was around you now falls to your waist. The feeling was intense. You could feel his heart beating, or at least you thought you could. Maybe it was just your own. The heat emanating from him and the touch of his skin on yours was dizzying. You try and keep your breathing steady.
Jeff returns and hands out the beers and you take yours gratefully, it's something to distract you from the feeling building up between your thighs.
Eddie sips his beer and settles his chin back on your shoulder, watching the movie. You're paying no attention, it was difficult to think when you were surrounded by Eddie.
"Sorry sweetheart can I just-" Eddie says, startling you out of your revelry. He reaches up and strokes your neck, moving some stray hairs of yours that were sticking to your neck and were presumably in his face. The touch is so delicate but it thrums through you. It feels like he's played a chord on your neck and your body has amplified the feeling, sending a shiver all over your skin.
His hand drops back down to your waist and his fingers find a sliver of bare skin between your jeans and your top. Just the feel of his rough fingertips on your exposed skin, after he had given you goosebumps so easily pushed you over the edge. Before you could stop it, a breathy moan escaped your throat. It wasn't particularly loud, but it didnt need to be. It didn't look like Jeff or Gareth heard, but there was no way Eddie didn't. He turned his head towards you so you could feel his breath on your neck which was definitely not helping.
You didn't need to look at him to know he heard. You could practically hear the smirk on his face when he whispered "sorry sweetheart, am I overwhelming you?" Fuckfuckfuck. You could hear your own heart beating profusely. Squeezing your thighs together, you manage to respond.
"No-no, I'm okay," an octave higher than you meant to.
"If it's an issue sweetheart I can sit on the floor-"
"No!" Too loud. Far too loud. Where did that come from? Jeff and Gareth glance over at the sudden noise.
Eddie's grin widens. "Just making sure you're comfy." Jeff and Gareth turn their attention back to the movie, having a discussion about where they recognise the leading actress from.
You sit still, trying not to breathe too loud, alternating between sipping your beer and picking off the label. Eddie moves his head from your shoulder much to your relief, but his hand stays at your waist, gently caressing the exposed skin.
After the movie you hang around for a bit chatting, then make your excuses to get up and leave.
"Hey, wait sweetheart, need a ride?" Eddie stands up.
"I live like two blocks away, it's fine." You turn to the door and start walking upstairs with Eddie at your heels.
"Then I can walk you back. No big deal."
"I'm fine, seriously. I'm a big girl. Tie my own shoes and everything." You smile at him.
"Can I see you tomorrow?" He blurts out suddenly.
You blink at him, surprised. "Er, maybe?"
"Look, I'll pick you up, 7 o clock, we can come to mine, chill out, maybe watch a movie?"
"Sure Eddie that sounds nice."
He moves towards you, arms outstretched for a hug. Complying, you soften at his touch. It's gentle, much gentler than the bone crunching hugs you are used to from him. One hand strokes your back softly. Before you pull away, Eddie's breath is in your ear.
"Maybe if you're up for it, I can try and get you to make that noise again." He whispers smugly.
You pull away, mouth gaping whilst he stares at you, smirk on his lip, head tilted at you.
"I... erm, maybe" you stutter out and head out of the house before you make more of a fool of yourself.
***********************
Saturday evening finally crawled around. You were excited but were trying to push down the feeling. You didn't want to come across too eager, it was a problem that happened all too often with you.
A bundle of clothes in various states were spread out before you; you were trying to pick something to wear. You decided on a pleated skirt, not too short, and a crop top. Checking yourself out in the mirror you thought you looked hot, but then again, maybe it was too needy? You shrugged your flannel shirt on to try and calm it down a bit, doing up a couple of buttons. Slinging on your sneakers you looked at the time. 18:46.
Downstairs you lay on the couch, feet dangling off the edge, waiting for a knock at the door. The house was quiet, your parents had gone out a while ago for a weekend away. Trying to calm yourself, you make a mental list of all the objects in the living room. Its helps to centre you, until theres a loud knock at the door.
Opening it you see Eddie's huge grin. He's wearing his usual attire; Hellfire t shirt, jeans and leather jacket.
"Jesus Christ you look hot" Eddie says before he can stop himself.
"Thank you" you blush.
"Parents around?"
"No they're away all weekend." You say, grabbing a jacket and locking the door behind you.
"Thank fuck let's go." You giggle as he grabs your hand and you let him lead you to his van.
Eddie starts to drive as Dio blares through the speaker, and you surprise Eddie by nodding along.
"Oh, you like this stuff sweetheart?"
"Yeah, I mean nothing too heavy, but this is great." You grin.
Eddie returns the smile out the side of his mouth. Soon enough he's turning into the entrance to the trailer park he calls home.
Getting out of the van he runs around to the passenger side and opens the door for you with a low bow. You blush and take his hand as he leads you to the door.
"Now, don't get your hopes up, I know it's pretty impressive from the outside but..." he opens the door and let's you go in first.
You take in the surroundings. It's a bit cramped, but homely. There's a sofa and tv, and a small kitchen area. Hats adorn the wall, you assume his uncles. It seems relatively clean, just cluttered. There's something about it that feels welcoming. You sigh, letting out a breath you didn't know you were holding.
Eddie seems pleased that you haven't run a mile after seeing the place.
"Wheres your room?" You look up at him.
"Steady on sweetheart you just got here" he winks at you.
You hit him playfully on the chest "shut up Eddie."
He gestures to you to take a seat on the couch and you take it gratefully.
"So, what do you want to watch? I rented a few, wasn't sure what you were into."
He gestured to the small pile of videos on the side table. Glancing over the selection you pick out a movie and hand it to Eddie.
"Nightmare on Elm Street? Didn't peg you for a slasher flick girl." He put the film in the VCR.
"Yeah well I've not actually seen it yet." You admit.
"Really? Well buckle up buttercup! You wanna beer? Or a smoke?"
"Is your uncle-"
"-at work. Dont worry." He gave your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. Your breath hitched in your throat. 'Lemme grab my tin."
He returns, battered lunch box in hand, and sits on the floor to roll whilst you start watching the film. It's amazing how comfortable you feel around him. Usually you were on edge being at someone else's house, but Eddie made you feel like you belonged there. You kicked off your shoes and curled your feet up on the sofa.
Eddie joins you. Lighting the joint he takes a couple of tokes then hands it to you. You pass it back and forth for a bit until you start to feel an effect. Giving the last of the joint back to him you say "finish it, that's more than enough for me." You smile at him lazily, head feeling slightly foggy.
"Oh, have I got you stoned sweetheart?" He looks at you, eyes full of mischief.
"Maybe, like this much" you say, holding your thumb and forefinger an inch apart.
"Hmm" he says frowning "not buying it. You want a soda, or some water?" You shake your head. He gets up anyway and gets you a glass of water. Taking it you appease him by drinking a few sips. He flops down again and puts his arm around you.
Settling into watching the movie you start to enjoy it, your high mellowing you a little. It's ridiculous but fun, and some of the special effects impress you. The boy on the screen is attacked unexpectedly and it makes you flinch bodily. Eddie sees this and pulls you closer to him, his hand stroking the top of your arm. Eddie starts explaining how they did the blood on the ceiling effect, waving his hand for emphasis. When he stops his hand comes to rest on your knee. You can't help it, you twitch at the feeling, it's like lightning up your leg.
"You okay sweetheart?" Eddie's face is frowning down at you.
"Yeah sure it's nothing."
Eddie's not buying it. He pauses the movie and looks at you.
"Something's going on princess. And it's either good or bad. Or both, I can't tell. Can you let me know? Did I do something wrong?" Eddie looks at you with those puppy dog eyes of his and its almost heartbreaking.
"No Eddie, you're perfect. I like you. It's just... I'm really, um, sensitive. Loud noises and stuff get to me, emotion wise I kinda run hot. Things affect me like, a lot. And I'm really, really touch sensitive." You see some understanding dawn on his face.
"Ah, right, okay, so is that good sensitive, or bad sensitive?"
"It depends. I mean if it's someone gross it feels horrible brushing past them. If it's someone I like, and I'm in a good mood, it's, well it's, hmm... overwhelming." You know he knows what you're trying to say, you dont want to have to say it out loud.
Eddie smirks at you, eyes like the devil himself.
"So, if I do this..." he says, fingertips tracing circles on your knee. Your breath catches in your throat. "It's nice." You manage.
"Hmm" his hand moves higher, onto the inside of your thigh, just under the hem on your skirt, with feather light touches. "And this?" Dark eyes stare down at you. A small moan escapes your lips. "Jesus Eddie..."
Eddie let's out a dark chuckle. He moves his hand off of your leg and you find yourself almost trying to follow the contact. His hand comes to rest on your jaw, guiding your head to turn and face him.
"What about this?" He says, eyes darting to your lips and back again, looking for confirmation. You close the gap and press your lips against his.
You've kissed before, messy, sloppy things, but never like this. His kiss is fire, igniting through you. The press of his lips against yours firm and warm. His tongue tentatively reaches out and you submit to him, allowing him to explore your mouth. You reply in kind, using your tongue to swipe against his, moving your hand to weave into his hair. He snakes his arm around your waist, pulling you closer. He draws a deep moan from your mouth, the pure pleasure of the moment taking over you. You can feel his mouth turn at the corners, smiling into you.
He breaks the kiss first, panting slightly. "Was that okay?" He says, hand remaining on your jaw, thumb gently swiping your chin.
You want to say something sarcastic, or flirty, or, well anything. All that comes from your mouth is a half broken whine. Face flushed pink and breath well and truly taken.
"That bad huh?" He chuckles and drops his hand.
"Wow- I mean, Jesus- it's not usually that, er-, intense. Fuck." You continue to try and catch your breath.
"Gonna take that as a sign that maybe you like me, as much as I like you?" Its not a question, but the head tilt and the look from him make it one.
"Maybe. I mean, I've liked you for a while Eddie."
"I've liked you since you sat with us at lunch." He says to you, eyes sparkling, looking a little sheepish. "Why do you think I saved you a seat every day?"
"Seriously? Why didn't you say anything?" You take his hand in yours, fiddling with his rings.
"You seemed like, really shy. Didn't want to make you uncomfortable."
You smile at him softly. "Not shy, just... sensitive. I've had a lot of shit in the past from people, saying that I come across too keen, so I kinda dial it back. Plus I don't exactly want to invite people touching me, you know."
"Except me?" He says smugly.
"Except you." You nod.
He entwines his fingers with yours, looking down for a moment. "You shouldn't care what people think you know." He looks back at you "don't make yourself less for anyone."
Your eyes well up instantly at that. Wiping a stray tear from your eye you respond, "sorry, no ones ever said that before." You smile weakly.
He presses a soft peck to your lips. "Wanna finish the movie?"
"Okay"
Eddie presses play and this time you lean into his arms, pulling his arm around your shoulders and holding his hand. You hear a soft chuckle from him. His other hand comes to rest on your knee, tracing absent minded circles. You bask in the feeling of his warm body pressed against you for a moment.
After a few minutes it's just too much.
"Jesus Eddie why are you so warm?"
"I don't know, you must bring it out in me princess."
You giggle and lean forward, taking off your shirt, and snuggle back next to him. Eddie's eyes are no longer on the movie. He's looking at you and your exposed midriff. His hand tentatively moves from your knee to your stomach. Before he touches you he whispers "this okay?"
You turn your head to him to say yes, planting a quick kiss on his cheek and keep watching the movie.
Eddie's fingers find your flesh, stroking so softly it sends shivers over you. You feel your skin break out in goosebumps. His fingertips dance over you with such care. He flattens his hand and strokes it across your abdomen, the tip of his thumb just brushing the underside of your breast and you inhale suddenly whilst squeezing your thighs together. He lightly scratches across your stomach with his fingernails and you let out a quiet, low moan.
"Eddie-" you turn and realise he's been watching you the whole time.
"What? This is so much more interesting than watching Krueger, trust me."
"Eddie I didn't tell you so you can take advantage!" You say, but theres no malice in it. You smile at him.
Eddie, ever the dramatic, wobbles his head at you and mimics your voice, "Oh Eddie, I'm like, really sensitive, and the smallest touch turns me on but don't do anything about it!"
"I don't sound like that!" You laugh loudly at him, your frame shaking. "And that's not what I said!"
"That's what I heard sweetheart. What do you want me to do? Sit on my hands??" He wiggles his fingers at you and with exaggerated movements forcefully sits on his own hands, frowning and flicking his head the opposite way.
"Eddie?" You touch his shoulder. If anything he turns his head even further away. You can't help but giggle.
"Eddie..." you say in a sing song voice. Nothing.
"Eddie!" Still nothing. You get up as if to leave, but turn to him and straddle his lap. His head is still turned so you take the opportunity to kiss at his neck, trailing kisses and small nibbles.
"Now that's just unfair sweetheart."
"No" you say, still peppering him with kisses "this is unfair" and you mouth the spot where his neck meets his shoulder and suck, hard.
"Holy shit." Eddie wriggles but realises hes trapped himself, his hands stuck under both his weight and yours.
You release his neck with a wet pop and sit back on his lap with a smug smile. Something hard is digging into you, you wiggle slightly and...
Oh.
"Had enough revenge?" Eddie tilts his head at you, raising his eyebrows. You shift your weight so he can free his hands, momentarily lost for words. He reaches out to move some stray hairs from your face, tucking them behind your ear.
"C'mere." He puts his hand to the back of your head and guides you towards him, mouth finding yours.
God, you could become addicted to this feeling. His mouth on yours, hands caressing your waist and hips, his warmth between your legs. You feel a pulse deep inside you, spreading in your core. You roll your hips, grinding your heat down on his jean covered member, drawing a deep groan from both of you.
You plant one hand firmly on the back of the couch, the other in his hair, and deepen the kiss. Every touch feels electric. His palms pressing into your hips leave tingles in their wake. You grind against him again, feeling yourself getting wetter, moaning into his mouth, the feeling building until you know you need to stop. That was embarrassingly fast. You break the kiss and look at him, chest rising and falling heavily.
"Sorry, I have to stop or I'll..." you blush crimson and look away.
"Or you'll what?" He says until his eyes widen. "Oh, were you gonna come?" The last word a whisper. You nod your head.
"Fuck that's so hot. Please don't stop." His hands move to stroke your thighs, bucking his hips into you. You let out a broken moan. Eddie's hands reach under your skirt and grab you by the ass. You lean forward and kiss him again, with urgency this time, tongues clashing. You grind against him, trembling with pleasure. Breaking the kiss you throw your head back, eyes closed, mouth parted.
"Eddie, fuck, oh God yes Eddie!"
You release; the hot, incredible feeling spreads throughout your limbs. Grinding against Eddie you try to keep the high going as long as possible.
Finally coming to a stop, you look down at his face. You want to feel embarrassed but he nearly looks as fucked as you feel, red in the face, hair clinging to his sweaty brow, eyebrows knitted together, mouth slightly open. Chuckling and smiling shyly at him, you move some hair from his face, mirroring what he did to you earlier.
"You okay sweetheart?" He looks at you, stroking your thighs.
"Yeah you could say that" you laugh "how about you?"
"Me? I nearly came in my pants, Jesus Christ!"
You giggle and hide your face in your hands. "Sorry." You say again as if on instinct.
"Hey" he grabs your wrists, "pretty girl, look at me." You reluctantly turn your head back to face him.
"This might be the best day of my life, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stop apologising." You giggle but Eddie looks at you with a serious face.
"Okay Eddie, I'll stop apologising." You climb off his lap and flop next to him on the couch. When you look over you cannot help but see an unmistakable wet patch on his jeans.
You look at it and your eyes flick back to his face. Staring at him he raises his eyebrows at you.
"No. More. Apologising. That's fucking hot."  He states, gesturing to his crotch.
"We missed the movie" you say lately, pouting at him.
"Well, I think I've just found my favourite thing to do, and it's a hell of a lot better than watching a movie" Eddie says waggling his eyebrows at you. Sniggering, you bat your eyelashes.
"So, you ready to show me your room?"
"Well, how can I resist when you pull that face?"
He gets up off the couch and walks to the back of the trailer, opening the far door.
"Well, you coming sweetheart?" He gestures at you to follow.
Stepping into his room, you don't know what to expect. It's a mess, not exactly dirty but theres stuff everywhere. Posters adorn every available wall space. Tapes flow over the small desk to one side. Theres note paper and clothes on the floor, and an overflowing ashtray on the bedside table.
"Yeah, wasn't expecting you to come in here, maid's day off and all." He grabs the ashtray and a couple of empty bottles and jogs out the room to dispose of them. Returning with a clean ashtray, he places it on the bedside table and comes behind you, holding you at the waist. His lips press on your neck, sweeping open mouthed kisses from your jaw to your shoulder and back again, hands pressing firmly into your hips as if he thought you might slip away.
Leaning back you bask in the feeling, tipping your head back and smiling.
"Stay" he whispers, almost too quietly; so quiet you're not sure you heard.
"What?"
"Stay." A little louder this time, still peppering you with kisses.
"You mean stay the night?" You question, turning your head to face him, butterflies exploding in your belly. Fingertips ghost your sides, tracing your figure.
"The night." Still kissing your neck, he continues, "the weekend," trailing kisses down your back, meeting the exposed skin and leaving goosebumps in his wake, getting down on his knees to kiss the small of your back, "forever."
Turning to face him he looks up at you, huge brown eyes boring into your soul. Giggling and mussing his hair with your hand you stare back, the question burning in your mind.
Eddie knows. Eddie always knows.
"What's on your mind sweetheart?" He smiles into your skin, nipping and kissing where your skirt meets your stomach.
"Not much when you keep doing that, Jesus."
"Sorry," he grins, smug smile spreading across his face, "it's hard to stop myself."
"It's just... is this real? I mean, you said you like me, but do you... I mean, is this..." you wring your hands, trying to make the words surface in your head.
"Hey, hey, look at me." Eddie grasps your hands; you have no choice but to turn your head down to face him.
"When I said this might be the best day of my life, I fuckin' meant it. You're literally the girl of my dreams. I've been dreaming of you, actually." He presses his mouth to you again, running his fingers along the waistband of your skirt. You sigh in response, legs shaking slightly.
"Jesus Eddie-"
"Not Jesus, just me." He chuckles, hands drifting to your legs, stroking your thighs.
"Fuck Eddie wait..."
"Sorry, you just, you do things to me." He smiles up at you.
"Are we, are we a thing now?"
"What like a couple? Sure, I'm not letting you go anywhere."
Your tummy does a backflip, hoping, longing.
"Well maybe I can stay. I just, I want you to be sure, you know. And I've never, done much with boys. In case you think I'm not... any good."
Eddie gasps at that, his eyes soften. "Oh sweetheart, theres no universe out there where you could possibly not be any good, in any way. You're amazing."
"So, you gonna get up off the floor, or..." you giggle.
"I'm pretty happy here, unless you don't want me to." He flips your skirt up and sees just how wet your panties are. A low groan escapes his throat. You shut your eyes for a second, trying to gather yourself.
"Eddie, I'm trying to say..."
"Yes, I know baby I know. Seriously, if you want me to stop, tell me. I'll stop. You can still stay. We can just go to sleep. Or cuddle." His eyes meet yours, brow furrowed.
You back up a little and you see the disappointment Eddie tries to hide written over his face. Smiling, you sit on the edge of his bed, wriggling your hands down from your hips to your ankles. Eddie looks at you in confusion until you open your hand, your underwear in your palm.
"Now that's the best magic trick I've ever seen!" His eyes wide, grin threatening to split his face in half. You can only blush in response. Waddling over to you on his knees, Eddie grabs your hand and takes your panties. Before you can say anything they've been shoved into the back pocket of his jeans.
"Eddie!"
"What?"
"I hope I'm getting them back..."
"Getting what back?" Eddie grins wolfishly,  pressing kisses to the inside of your knee.
The will to argue dissipates when his kisses trail higher and higher. With deft movements his rough fingers are rubbing the insides of your thighs, travelling towards your throbbing pussy. Leaning back onto your elbows you gaze at Eddie through half lidded eyes, wondering how you could have possibly gotten this lucky. As if he could sense your attention he glances up, running his tongue dangerously near your sex. You moan at the sensation, fingers grabbing the comforter underneath you.
"Fuck, you're just so responsive," he plants a kiss to your mound and you squirm, moaning.
"Oh, we are going to have a lot of fun sweetheart." Eddie smirked at you, eyes shining.
"Eddie please..." you wriggle, skirt riding up to your hips, cunt on full display for him.
He lifts your legs up and over his shoulders. The swipe of his tongue over your tender heat is sudden, sending rivers of pleasure through you. Gently he laps at you, his thumbs pressing bruises into your thighs. The feeling is immense, flowing, molten fire running through your veins. It's both too much and not enough, you need more, more feeling, more Eddie.
"Oh God Eddie..."
He takes your clit into his mouth and sucks softly. Licking and kissing at you; you buck into him, chasing the feeling, unimaginable heat coiling in your stomach, chest, wrists. Nothing matters except this moment. Incoherent babble escapes your lips, telling him not to stop and how good it feels, then just his name, over and over and over.
Eddie's groaning into you, the vibration nearly sending you over the edge. With a final suck to your swollen bud you come, clenching around nothing. You buck and writhe against his face, using it to chase never ending pleasure. Lewd, erotic noises fall from your mouth but you can't find it in you to care. All that matters is you, and Eddie, and the feeling.
Shaking and whimpering you start to come down, well and truly spent. Knuckles white from how hard you were clinging to the bed clothes. Realising this you finally loosen your grip. Eddie moves your still twitching legs off of his shoulders and looks up at you. Your slick is coating his lower face, shining in the light. Eddie literally looks like the cat that got the cream. He wipes his mouth on the back of his hand.
"I've changed my mind, that is my new favourite thing to do" he says with a roguish grin.
Your smile at him, arms reaching out, making grabby hands at him. Chuckling he climbs over you, straddling you. You kiss him full on the mouth, lingering tang of you on his lips. Fingers stroke down to his waist, fiddling with his belt.
"Woah princess no need. Literally." He looks you in the eye, and you stare back, hand reaching to his manhood, and glance down.
Oh.
"Did you-"
"Cum in my pants? Yup." Literally no shame in his voice; he almost looks proud.
You giggle, hand to your mouth. It's almost a relief, having no real idea of what to do with it anyway. Plus, it's nice to know you have a similar effect on him.
"So, I'm gonna clean up and get changed. You need something to sleep in?"
"I'm ok, I usually sleep naked, if that's not a problem?" Your eyes meeting his.
Groaning, Eddie throws his head back, hands to his face, and falls backwards to the floor. You gasp, then realise this is Eddie being his usual self.
"Holy shit sweetheart you cannot say shit like that to me. I've died. I've literally died, and I'm in heaven, and you're some sort of angel." He splays his arms wide, tongue out, eyes closed. Shaking your head you throw a pillow at him, jerking him out of it.
"No need for the vicious attack, I'm having a moment."
He jumps up to go to the bathroom. Stripping off and climbing under the covers, you take a minute whilst he's away to think, really think. It's so hard when he's so near, clouding your judgement. You know you can be impulsive. Is this too much too soon? Am I gonna make a fool of myself? Does he really like me as much as I like him? Your emotions usually get the best of you and the constant struggle is exhausting. Maybe you don't need to think about this tonight. Enjoy tonight, let tomorrow be what it is.
When Eddie returns, all doubt is erased from your mind. Hes standing there in a pair of plaid boxers, and his eyes light up at the sight of you in his bed. The look he gives you makes you feel like you're the only girl in the world.
Smiling shyly at him, he stands at the foot of the bed, continuing to stare.
"Something on your mind Eddie?"
"No I'm good, just a bit... overwhelmed." Knowing smirk plastered on his face.
"I can probably help you with that, you know."
"Well, it seems like we've got all night." The look on his face is pure sin.

Jade, my beloved!! <3
What about reader going over to Eddie's trailer and Roan starts clinging to reader, and Eddie tries to apologize but reader absolutely does not mind at all and happily carries Roan around? (The way you write kiddos is so sweet😭)
omg YES thank you . girl dad Eddie forever <3 | fem!reader
You and Eddie (and Roan, his mirror image daughter) have been on one date.
It's not easy getting to know someone when they bring their baby but you'd figured it was the only reasonable option. He's gonna have her for the rest of his life and you wouldn't have it any other way besides, so you'd told him to bring her and you'd stuffed her full of chocolate cake. You'd wanted her to like you.
You might've done too good a job.
Eddie called you after the date — the next morning, to your delighted surprise — and told you how much fun he had. How he'd love to see you again. You'd enough butterflies to lose your mind and told him absolutely, yes, but what day's good for you?
So your next date is a week away. You're eager to see him again. You're excited to see his daughter, too, because she'd been lovely and sweet, quiet though she'd certainly known how to throw a tantrum.
Eddie calls you two days after the first phone call and says, "Listen, do you want to come over for dinner?"
"Now?"
"If you're not busy."
So here you are. Standing outside of his trailer home in Forest Hills Trailer Park with a teddy bear in one hand and a bottle of sparkling cider in the other, nervously shifting from foot to foot and wondering if maybe you should've brought wine. Or beer. But no, right? He has a baby. Kind of.
You knock and wait. There's scrambling feet, obviously smaller footsteps pittering over the floor and then a bang against the door. You flinch and wait.
"Hello?" you call.
"Oh, shit," someone says from further away. "I'm coming!"
"Shit," a little voice echoes.
"No!" Eddie calls, horrified.
Quick footsteps. The deadbolt slides free and the door opens.
Eddie's shepherded Roan behind him just enough to let you in. "You can't say that, babe. It's a bad word," he tells her, face hidden behind a sheet of messy curls.
Roan doesn't take any notice of him. She's stopped dead behind him in an actual princess dress. Tiny clip on earrings hang from her small earlobes and her dark curls are pulled up into dainty pig tails. Her lips part and expose the pink of tongue and all her pearly baby teeth, and then she screams.
"Yes!" she says, and throws herself at you.
Her arms wrap around your legs and her face rubs into your thighs. When you don't hug back she looks up at you with wide brown eyes, all her dad's, and blinks.
"Baby, you can't-" Eddie sighs and scrubs a hand across his jaw. "I'm sorry," he apologises.
You hold out the teddy bear and the cider and he takes both on instinct. Hands free, you lean down to give Roan a tentative hug.
"Hi, princess. I'm happy to see you too, and in your lovely dress! You look so pretty," you baby-talk, bubbly and light and very, very enamoured by the warmth of her small body clutching your thighs.
"She- I said you were coming and she told me she had to wear the princess dress," Eddie explains.
You turn your attention from your cuddle and find him as handsome as you'd left him last Thursday. He's dressed not nearly as fancy as he had been, though this feels more him. A band t-shirt, a pair of black jeans. His tattoos play stark over the length of his arms.
This is more like it.
"Yeah? Good, she should wear it. She's pretty as any princess I've seen."
Eddie tries to separate your clinger so he can shut the door but Roan adamantly refuses it.
"Up," she says, hands grabbing.
"Roan, Y/N doesn't want to-"
"Up please!"
You don't have a clue how to pick up a toddler so you squat down. Roan wraps her arms around your neck and squeals with happiness as you stand. The tulle of her skirt is scratchy under your palms.
"You really don't have to," Eddie says. He sounds worried.
You meet his eyes and try to adjust your hold until she's comfortable as you say, "Hey, it's okay. If it's okay with you?"
He's still for a moment.
"Yeah. Yeah, it's okay," he says softly.
You smile until he smiles back.
Roan pulls away from your neck to touch your neck. You shiver at her cold hands and rub up the length of her back. "Are you cold?" you fret.
"She just had an ice pop."
You raise your eyebrows at him. Dipping your head toward your shoulder, you fix your knowing gaze on Roan. "Is that so? What flavour do you like? No, let me guess..." You take in the purple at the corner of her mouth and beam. "Grape yeah? I like grape too. You have good taste."
"Can I get you a drink?" Eddie asks, wielding the apple cider.
Talking to Roan is a piece of cake. Talking to her dad is nowhere near as easy. You feel like you're in school again as he watches you, your lips curving into a funny excuse for a smile.
"Please."
He disappears to the kitchenette. You press Roan's chest to yours and search their living room for details, curious and hungry to know more about them. They've got a thousand things, not a lick of space between toys, so many toys, pinks and purples like a wave carpeting the floor.
There's a small square table painted pink outfitted by saucers and teacups. There are three chairs, two pink and plastic and one a wooden drum stool, and at each sits a teddy bear.
"Having a party?" you ask.
Roan nods at you. "A tea party."
"A tea party!" you echo, impressed by her neat pronunciation. She's precious when she isn't on her knees screaming.
"For Teddy," she says.
"Yeah? Which one's Teddy?"
She turns to the table and points at the pink bear with a missing ear.
"Why don't you finish your tea party, Roan?" Eddie asks, then says to you, quieter, "You can put her down if you want to."
You take that as a You should put her down now and start to bend. Roan wraps her arms around your neck and clings, knees digging into your sides.
"No," she moans miserably.
"Baby," Eddie starts.
"No," she says again, meaner. You swoop her back up toward your chest, worried she'll start crying.
You feel awkward because it's obvious Eddie is embarrassed by her showing off. She starts to whine loudly and he gets worse, sending you an apologetic look as he approaches.
You can hear the apple cider sparkling away in the glasses in his hands, he talks to her that gently. "Roan, Y/N can't hold you all night, baby. She wants a drink. You don't like carrying Teddy all day, do you?"
Roan cries.
"It's really okay. I don't mind, I promise," you say.
The 'I promise,' comes out ridiculous. Too warm. Too genuine.
Eddie beams at you, almost haphazard. "Okay, awesome, because she's about to go nuclear and I don't think we'll survive it."
"Does she scream?"
"Full nine yards, slaps her hands on the floor, rolls around."
You gasp. "No! No way, do you really show off like that?" you ask her sympathetically. "I can't believe you'd ever do something like that, you're such a sweetheart. Is your daddy telling me lies?" You stroke down her cheek until she laughs, tickled. "He's lying, isn't he?"
"If you stick around long enough you'll see."
You don't flinch. "I can't wait."
Roan giggles wildly as you tickle down into the crease of her neck. You laugh in response, completely infected by her joy.
"She has a really lovely laugh," you praise.
"She's not the only one," Eddie says seriously.
You meet his gaze over her bunches and wrinkle your nose at him when he winks.
He's a real charmer when he wants to be. You're just dying to be charmed.

prompt idea! dramatic confession of love in the rain with friends to lovers reader & eddie. maybe like arguing outside about the fact that somethings been off with one of them & demanding an answer, love confessing ensues then BAM! rain kiss 🫢
i love this request so much, i adore writing love confessions! ♥ | 1.7k words (got a little carried away lol)
It started with a simple question.
"Do you mind getting another ride home today?" Eddie had said.
You didn't mind, not really. Of course, you used to take every opportunity to spend time with him, but you could understand that he had his own life and sometimes his plans didn't line up with yours. It was okay.
When he explained the reason behind the question, however, you felt yourself wither and dwindle like a dying flower.
"I'm going to take Aubrey home, so...you know."
You did know. Aubrey lived on the other side of town, completely off the route you and Eddie took to get home every day. He wasn't just giving her a ride; it was something. Something else. Maybe some kind of date, even.
Date.
You felt your heart three times heavier as you forced a smile and said, almost capable of hearing the tiny pieces of it tinkling inside your chest own chest, "Oh, sure. It's okay."
And then, before you could stop yourself, you did the stupidest thing one could possibly do; you had asked.
"So…did she ask you out on a date or something?"
You'd poked him in the ribs playfully then, trying to look more relaxed than you really felt as the words left your mouth.
If Eddie noticed it, he didn't let it show. He actually laughed, looking a little embarrassed, and replied, "Actually, I kind of asked her."
Wonderful.
You couldn't stop your eyebrows from rising then, whatever's left of your heart from breaking. You tried to avoid looking like the kicked puppy you felt. Probably didn't succeed as much as you'd like to say.
In general, you were good at doing this — you'd been doing it ever since you realized your feelings for Eddie Munson went far beyond a mere affection between two good friends. It was almost second nature — both being in love with him and hiding it.
Eddie hadn't noticed anything wrong when you smiled that day, just as he doesn't notice anything wrong with the smile you're giving him now, in the school hallway, a week later.
He's so blind when it comes to you.
"I'm not going home with you today," you tell him, closing your locker and packing your backpack carefully.
It's been no less than torture letting Eddie drive you around in his van for the past few days; his van, where everything smells like him, where he strikes up conversations and tells jokes and makes you laugh like everything is fine.
Because everything is fine to him. You're the one who couldn't help but fall in love. Like an idiot.
You didn't want to risk him finding out that whatever he had going on with Aubrey made you jealous, though, so you'd forced yourself to let him pick you up and drive you home from school every day while he remained blissfully unaware.
He seems surprised when your words sink in.
"No?"
"I have to go somewhere else first," you lie. It comes off easily when you're not looking at him.
"It's all right, I'll go with you."
"No, it's fine. I think it'll take a little while."
"I don't mind."
Smile, just smile. "Eddie, really, it's okay."
"It's raining a lot," he argues, looking awfully worried. "You can't just walk home. Do you even have an umbrella with you?"
"Yes," another lie. It's downhill from here, you can tell. "Don't worry."
You feel like you're going to get burned any moment now if you don't get away from Eddie.
Most people have already gone home — you've been studying in the library and Eddie's been at Hellfire with the boys, so you two had stuck behind. The empty hallway makes everything seem worse somehow, his worried gaze on you heavier.
He lets you take three steps before grabbing your arm.
"Wait," he says, brows furrowed, eyes searching for something in your expression. Whatever it is, he finds it. "Something's wrong. What's wrong, Y/N?"
Eddie never had much of a sense of personal space — he's invading yours now, very much, and everything just got a lot more complicated; his fingers around your elbow are warm, the eyes that stare back at you are kind. He smells the same as always: leather, spearmint, cigarette smoke masked by cheap cologne.
You look at your arm and wonder what are the odds you'll be able to break free and walk out the front door without him following you. Not good.
"Nothing," you manage to say. "Nothing is wrong. What are you talking about?"
Perhaps the fake smile is losing its power, you think, because Eddie doesn't look like he'd be giving up anytime soon.
"Something is off with you these days," he insists.
"Eddie, look, I need to go-"
"Have I done something wrong?"
"What?" you sound horrified, because you are horrified; as if Eddie would ever be able to intentionally hurt you. It would have been funny if you weren't so sad. "No, of course not!"
"Then why are you avoiding me?"
"I'm not, I-" It's hard to get the words out with him so close, with his hand on your arm, with his eyes on yours-
Oh, how you'd like to disappear right now.
“Did I forget something?” Eddie looks terribly guilty, even though there's nothing to blame himself for. "Your birthday is still pretty far, so-"
You hate this.
"Eddie-" you try, but he's too far inside his own head to hear. He's probably going over a list of things he could have done to make you mad right now.
“-did we make any plans that I forgot?”
"No, I-"
“Did I say something wrong? Shit, I did, didn’t I?”
“Eddie-”
"-I'm sorry if I said- I don't know what I said, but I am sorry, I-"
“I love you.”
It's a mistake. You instantly know that, you know that the very moment the words leave your mouth without permission, a confession you never meant to make. One look at the way Eddie's entire body seems to tense up, at how his lips freeze mid-sentence, parted but not uttering any words, any sound... it's more than enough to tell you it was a fucking mistake.
Time seems to slow down, each second stretching impossibly beyond normal. The only sound that can be heard is the rain. Heavy, rhythmic, coming down without pause.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!
You pull your arm back and pretty much run towards the door as if you might distance yourself from the stupid words you just blurted out by doing so.
You think you hear a mumble of "shit" behind you, but you don't stop to look, don't turn around to be sure. Your eyes are prickling and you can taste the tears that ain't coming.
Rain. You're still running anyways. You're soaked and still running, stumbling because it's hard to see through the storm now, hair sticking to your neck, heavy breathing pushing your chest up and down, your face wet from both the rain and your tears.
The rain...almost as cruel as whoever was responsible for making you fall in love with a friend like Eddie.
A friend who's now calling your name — a yell in the distance muffled by the sound of the rain and of your breaking heart. You ignore it. You can't look at him. Not now.
He insists.
“Shit! You- you can't just tell me you love me and walk away! HEY!”
You avoid the hand that tries to grab your arm this time and keep walking across the parking lot as fast as you can.
But did luck ever stay on your side?
No.
Your head bumps right into Eddie's chest.
He holds you by the shoulders, palms gentle on your now cold skin, eyes gentler when you lift your chin up to look at him. You try to back away, attempting to squirm out of his grasp.
Not this time, though. Eddie holds you tight this time.
"Are you out of your mind?" he says, shouting to be heard over the storm...or maybe just because he's angry. "You can't just storm off like that with weather like this!"
Eddie's hands slide along your arms and then drop from your fingers.
He's taking his leather jacket off.
You take a step to the right to try and go around him, seizing the opportunity; he, however, steps to the left and holds the jacket over your head — as if you weren't already soaked from head to toe. As if he wasn't soaked from head to toe, too.
Eddie looks angry.
And too close.
Of course he looks angry, you think, I blew it.
“Eddie-”
“You're an idiot,” he says. “How could you just take off running like that? You could get fucking pneumonia out here!”
“I didn't mean to-” he's close, very close, and you feel silly, high, dizzy. Everything and nothing at the same time. The words you want to say are lost inside your mind like a paper boat drifting at the sea.
Eddie is still holding his damn jacket over your head like the goddamned gentleman he is.
Despite the closeness, you feel like you need to yell in order to be heard, your voice high and hoarse. “Just let me go!”
You try again and again, but he skillfully foils every one of your plans to walk away from him.
"No!"
"I am sorry! I'm sorry, okay? I shouldn't have said that, I just…I just need some time! Just give me time and I'll get over you, Eddie, I swear, and everything will get back to normal and you and I can just pretend it never happened-"
In a heartbeat, he's tossing the jacket to the floor and his lips are on yours.
You gasp, too surprised, too tense, and Edde slides a hand to the small of your back, pressing you against his body with something akin to desperation — both of you so entirely soaked from the rain, so entirely frightened, so entirely in love.
When the kiss ends, it's because both of you are out of breath; Eddie doesn't let the space between the two of you grow any further, though.
“Don't get over me,” he pleads, pretty much breathing into your mouth, forehead against yours, eyes fluttering closed. “Don’t ever get over me.”
It seems like your heart is about to jump out of your mouth. He leans in again and you don't have it in you to do anything other than the same.
Letting yourself be kissed is easy. Too easy. It also makes it easier to forget everything that brought the two of you here — the confession, the feelings you believed were unrequited until now… Aubrey.
Aubrey.
You realize you broke the kiss and whispered her name when Eddie opens his eyes to look at you.
“I mean, you and Aubrey…the date…”
He squeezes your waist and laughs, "The date lasted 10 minutes before she told me the obvious."
“Obvious?”
His smile grows.
“That I love you.”

billy hargrove x female!reader [4.6k] summary ⤍ all your friends had more or less gained more sexual experience over the summer. asking billy hargrove to help you out might not be the best idea, but you’re running out of options. warnings ⤍ 18+ (minors dni) petname use, explicit language, explicit smut, kissing, semi-public sex, oral (f receiving), fingering, multiple orgasms, hair pulling. a/n ⤍ so i couldn’t resist writing more billy. again, this isn’t canon billy so keep that in mind. thank you for all your love on my last fic, please consider leaving feedback and lmk what you thought of this. also, here’s a gifset that sparked this idea :) i haven’t proof read this since it’s 4am now and i wrote this on my phone, sorry. ily <3
Tumblr media
“Do you wanna have sex with me?” Isn’t what you ever expected to ask Billy Hargrove. Especially by the public pools that he was supposed to be guarding.
He’d been sitting high up in his lifeguard chair, smacking his chewing gum enticingly with his eyes alert on every kid in and around the pools and opening his mouth to bark at the occasional running kid. You’d been watching him from afar, sitting up in your chaise lounge with your book half forgotten in your lap as you half-listened to your friends close by.
It wasn’t that surprising that sex was the topic of conversation, as it had been for the most part these past few weeks of the summer. Two of your friend group consisting of five had lost their virginities, and the other’s had somehow managed to score boyfriends. It wasn’t unusual or even weird, seeing as you were all on the cheerleading squad and more popular than you’d like to think about.
It irked you a little bit though, because sex had never been a big issue in your life until this summer. You had focused all you had on your grades and your team seeing as you were the head cheerleader at school. Boys weren’t an issue, you’d had exactly one boyfriend (minus Josh from middle school) and you’d broken up with him after four months when you’d caught him cheating on you with another girl. He had been your first everything, but not your first orgasm.

bother || mike wheeler x reader
a/n : tysm for the request! i hope u enjoy! &
@m1ke-wheeler tysm for the request awell <3
unedited
fluff mostly, bit of angst
Mike Wheeler, a loser, and his popular girlfriend, Y/n walked hand in hand to every class each day.
It was a ritual that almost everyone at hawkins high knew.
“Bye Mikey.” Y/n chirped as she pressed a kiss to his sharp jaw, his face turning red from the affection.
Even after all this time she still gave him butterflies like no other.
“See you.” He whispered letting go of her hand as she walked into her science class.
Mike sighed that she was now gone but continued on to where he was supposed to be, Mike hated this particular class since he had no one to talk to- who would want to be friends with him? His hellfire shirt scared off any potential peers.
Mike walked over to his seat and sat down, keeping his head held low. He was aware of all the eyes on him, but he decided to ignore them. He was used to it at this point, people who knew nothing about him judging him like they did.
Y/n had always told him not to give them power, not let them see they were bothering him.
So that’s what he always did.
“Why is she even going out with that nerd?” Her heard a girl whisper, he knew it was about him.
Don’t let them bother you.
“She has Andy and Chance chasing after her, lucky bitch.” He heard another girl reply- Mike’s stomach dropped, Andy and Chance? Weren’t those basketball players? They liked
Y/n? What chance did Mike have against the two most popular boys in the school?
No no, Mike don’t freak yourself out. Y/n loves you. You and only you.
Don’t let these girls bother you.
Mike tried to reassure himself but he didn’t feel much better.
Oh well, by next period he should be better. When he finally got to see her.
When he finally got to hold Y/n by the hand and take her to her next class, that simple four minute passing period would definitely lift his spirits.
“Y’know I heard Andy was gonna ask her out.” He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard that,
“No way. She’s dating-“ Girl number two paused ‘lowering’ her voice as she spoke.
“That guy.” Mike could feel their eyes bore into him, and if he could? He’d sink into the floor.
“And? You think Andy can’t take him on? The boys a stick!” The last part was whispered he’d guessed to try and save his feelings, She didn’t do a very good job.
“Stop that’s so mean!” Girl number one said yet still cackled like it was the funniest thing she’s heard all year.
“Whatever, i’m sure Y/n will come to her senses soon enough.” Mike finally poked his head up- seeing Mandy and Georgia, Y/n’s friends and two of the most popular girls in school. They were staring right at him.
They quickly looked away when they saw him look, giggling while doing so.
Mike felt sick, sick because they were right.
He was a freak. Y/n could have anyone she wanted- why did she choose him? And to hear those mean words from her own friends?
He didn’t think he was very attractive, nor very strong. She could have someone who was everything he wasn’t at the snap of a finger.
His thoughts began to consume him, he tried not to let it bother him but it was hard because it just made sense to him, so much so he forgot to pick Y/n up from her class.
“Mike!” Y/n called to him, he turned from his locker and watched as she happily jogged up to him.
It was then he realized he had forgotten.
How could he forget something like that?Leaving her all alone? What a good boyfriend he was..
“Hey Mikey.” she chirped, leaning against the locker next to his.
“Hi.” He said blandly, turning to face her.
Odd, but she proceeded.
“So, you wanna go see ‘The Thing’ after school? Heard it’s scary.” She smiled, knowing he had said he wanted to go earlier that week.
However he shook his head quickly, unable to look her in the eyes. He was almost afraid that if she could look into his eyes she could see everything he’d heard written through his expression and he was worried she’d agree.
“Uhm, no I can’t tonight- My dad! He wants to- take me to dinner…” He rambled, again looking anywhere but her.
“Oh.” She murmured, feeling a bit dejected. But who was she to not encourage him and his dad hanging out? They’ve never had a great relationship, and If Ted wanted to try and fix it she wouldn’t get in his way.
“You wanna hangout later this week then?” She asked afterwards, trying to look into his eyes.
He avoided it.
“I don’t know.” He muttered, looking down at the floor.
“You don’t know?” She asked, realizing he was now just downright rejecting her.
He shook his head and closed his locker then finally looked her in the eyes.
“I mean, I don’t know if I can- i’ll let you know.” He quickly said, then walked away.
Without a goodbye.
“Mike-“ She went to call after him but realized it was pointless, she decided to just go to class and ignore the tears forming in her eyes.
Maybe he was just having a bad day.
It’s not like he just dumped her.
Quit being such a crybaby.
Everything was going to be okay.
Right?
A whole week later of no contact.
Y/n was going insane.
She had tried to call to him multiple times in the halls only for him to blatantly ignore her or walk the opposite way.
She’d been calling his home, only to get his mom or dead air on the other end of the phone.
She had to trap him, so he couldn’t avoid her.
She thought he was doing that classic boy thing, where they are mean to a girl until they get the girl to break up with them.
And Y/n was not having it.
She rode her bike to Mike’s house as soon as school was out.
She threw her bike on the lawn, walking up to the front door with confidence.
Then she knocked on the door and waited.
Her confidence beginning to falter as she waited for what felt like hours.
What if he just sent her home?
What if he broke up with her on the spot?
Maybe this was all just a bad idea…
Nancy opened the door.
“Y/n?”
“H-Hi, can I see Mike?” Y/n asked nervously, rocking on her feet.
“Of course.” Nancy smiled, stepping back to welcome her in. “I think he might be in his room.”
Mike however was down in his basement feeling sorry for himself, he’d wrapped himself in a big blanket and was currently cocooning himself in his little fort.
He’d been reclusive since the day he heard those two girls talking, because everything just made sense.
Y/n was too good for him.
She truly was, Mike was just waiting for the day she’d knock on his door and break up with him.
Break his heart.
“Mike!” Nancy called down the basement, Mike scowled at how loud his sister was.
Groaning and rolling over- he sometime wished his fort would turn into a gate to the upside down. So he could just escape it all.
“You’re girlfriend is here to see you!” Nancy called- Mike felt his stomach twist, here she was. She was going to break up with him.
“Tell her i’m not home!” Mike shouted back, flopping to his side and tightening his blanket around him.
If he didn’t see her, technically she couldn’t break up with him.
“Ouch.” Y/n muttered, as she looked to her boyfriends sister. Nancy offered her a sympathetic look and shrugged.
Y/n sighed
“Can I go down?“ She asked,
“Be my guest.” Nancy said then turned to whisper in her ear. “Mike’s been in a funk recently, have fun.”
Y/n swallowed her nerves and made her way down, but was confused when she didn’t see Mike right away.
He was nowhere to be seen.
“Mike?” She called out- Mike stayed silent, realizing Nancy had let her down despite what he said. He quickly moved his foot that was hanging out of the fort.
Y/n heard the shuffle and made her way towards the fort- Mike held his breath the entire time.
But to no avail, Y/n kneeled down and moved the blanket that was covering the fort like a door.
“Knock knock.” She whispered, she melted at how cute Mike looked- all wrapped up in his little blanket,
“Y-Y/n..” Mike sat up immediately after seeing his beautiful girlfriend.
He was supposed to be avoiding her,
But he’d missed her face.
“Hey.” She sighed, scooting into the fort and letting the blanket fall behind her. Now it was just them, alone in the cozy fort.
“Listen, I don’t know what I did but-“ She started, already looking uncomfortable that she had to be having this conversation.
“If you’re gonna break up with me…don’t play the long game. Get it over with please.” She quickly said her eyes beginning to gloss.
“What?” Mike asked, letting his grip on his blanket falter.
“I’m going insane trying to figure out what I did wrong.” She rambled, the tears in her eyes making mike cringe-
What a good boyfriend he was…he made her cry.
“So if you’re going to do it just- do us both a favor and do it now.” She said as her voice quivered, her hand quickly wiping the tears that had managed to fall.
“Y/n no, I don’t wanna breakup with you.” Mike sighed shakily, reaching forward for her hand.
Y/n looked up at him hopefully.
“You don’t?” She asked.
He shook his head and began to feel himself get a bit choked up.
“No-No, the opposite I wanna uhm…” He began but found himself at a loss for words.
He wanted to be with her, that’s ALL he wanted.
But he didn’t feel good enough for her, she deserved someone better than Mike.
But Mike was selfish, he knew Y/n deserved the world and more- but he wanted her all to himself. It was a constant internal battle for him.
Y/n must’ve sensed him getting lost in his thoughts, she ran her thumb along his knuckles giving him a reassuring smile.
“Why have you been avoiding me?” She asked.
“I’m sorry.” Mike whispered, looking away from her.
She moved her head so she was in his line of sight again.
“Don’t say sorry, tell me why.” She whispered back.
She saw his face finally fall, his eyes watered as he looked absolutely defeated.
“It’s just-“ He started,
“I don’t know-“ He groaned.
He caught her expectant eyes,
“I don’t know how to- say it.” He admitted.
“It’s okay, throw some words out- i’ll put them together.” She assured him.
“I-“
“I don’t..” He couldn’t find the words.
“I want you to-“ He tried again.
“I don’t like how many guys…like you.” He blurted, then covered his face with his hand in embarrassment.
“You’re gorgeous and I understand that’s how it’s gonna be but-“ He continued then peaked through his hands.
“I don’t understand why you keep choosing me.” he finally admitted.
“Mike…” Y/n whispered, her heart breaking at the state her boyfriend was in.
“I’m just- Dorky.. and i’m not strong like the basketball guys, you deserve so much better than me.” He kept going, pouring his entire heart out to Y/n- He didn’t wanna cry, the lump in his throat made him sure he was going too but he didn’t want to.
His dad always taught him men don’t cry.
Beside that why would he cry? it’d only make Y/n feel worse and he was a bad enough boyfriend already.
“Mike.” She tried to stop him again, he was too lost in his head.
“Everyone knows you can do better, and sooner or later you’re gonna realize that too.”
“Mike!” She said with a loud voice making him finally look at her.
“Sorry.” He quickly whispered, wiping the few stray tears that fell.
She grabbed onto his hands, so he couldn’t wipe his tears any more,
“Who even put these things in your head?”
“People talk y’know?” He murmured, ashamed while sniffling lightly. He really hated crying in front of people, especially his girlfriend.
He couldn’t help by feel weakened by it.
“Well don’t listen to the ‘talk’, I want you. And only you.” She sighed out rubbing his knuckles.
“But why?” He asked again,
She grabbed onto his face, rubbing his cheeks as she looked at him sorrowfully.
"I...sometimes, I guess I kinda wish you could see yourself through my eyes Mike." Y/n whispered. pressing one kiss against his chin.
“You’re caring, you’re funny, you’re handsome. You make me feel like i’m floating on air.” She continued the praises, kissing his nose.
“And you ARE strong.” she then kissed his temple before moving to his ear to whisper,
“Strongest guy I know.”
“You could lose absolutely everything yet still keep going like nothing, I admire you for that.” She kissed his lips, the kiss they shared was drawn out- their lips missed each-other. Although it’s only been a week. When they pulled away their lips lingered.
“And you totally did kill like 2 demodogs so strong in that aspect too-“ she whispered her breath fanning his face as she joked- Mike was able to choke out a chuckle.
“Mike you are the most beautiful person i’ve ever met. Don’t let a couple of assholes ever make you feel otherwise.” She assured him then smiled.
“Okay? I love you. And ONLY you.”
“You’re stuck with me forever.”
“Mhm.” He hummed, the smile dawning on his face making the room seem to light up.
“M’ sorry. I wasn’t trying to bother-“ He tried to apologize for the past week but,
“You’re never bothering me.” She cut him off,
“Just tell me what you’re feeling next time. I don’t wanna think about losing you ever again.” She finished and wrapped her arms around his neck bringing him in for the first hug they’ve had in days.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, smelling her sweet perfume.
god did he miss it.
“I love you.” He murmured, burying his head in the crook of her neck.
“I love you more.”

When the day met the night x Billy Hargrove x female reader
Tumblr media
You and Billy were polar opposite, you were the definition of a summer day personified, while he was a hurricane. Billy never expected himself to fall for such a good girl. (Grumpy x sunshine trope)
Warnings: Smoking, mentions of porn (it’s brief but for that reason only 18+ MDI) Abuse, Neil physically hurting Billy, Billy being mean at the beginning, The moms at the pool (this may be a warning as Billy is a minor and Max and Billy not having the strongest of relationships
A/N: I wrote this completely in one sitting so it may not be my best fic I’ve ever written but oh well. Again my maladaptive daydreaming strikes again and this fic is inspired by the lyrics from ‘when the day met the night’ by panic at the disco. This is different from my usual writing style and instead of lines to break up the story, I used lyrics from the song. I’m aware Billy doesn’t have a fence around his house allow it for the story. Sorry if some parts sound overly British as I’m from the U.K.. Apologies for all spelling and grammatical mistakes as I’m super dyslexic, enjoy
When the sun found the moon she was drinking tea in her garden
Wiping off the sweat that glisten on his brow in the hot Indiana heat as he pulled up to his drive. Turning off his engine, taking a moment to adjust his sunglasses that slid down the bridge of his nose, mentally preparing himself to deal with Neil and his far from normal home life.
Praying that he made it home before Neil did, so Billy could walk up to his room and stay there till the day ended. Hopefully ending the day without becoming his father’s punchbag, pummelling away his frustrations and anger towards whatever had pissed him off that day, only ending when Billy could barely stand.
Billy had quite possibly the longest shift he ever had, every kid in there wanted to be, well according to Billy, a piece of shit. He had to yell at them for running by the pool, diving in the water till his throat became red raw leaving his voice raspy and horse, for speaking felt like hot gravel scraping across his throat every time he uttered a word. While their moms? Sat there gawking at billy, making bedroom eyes at the teen completely ignoring that their children were making Billy’s life a living hell.
All Billy wanted to do now was to go up to his room open up a can and blast out a few tapes.
Stepping out of his camaro lifting up a cigarette to his lips, cupping over the end to create a windshield for the flame to ignite. Taking a well deserved drag, allowing the stress to melt away from his tone muscles as nicotine course through his veins.
He was about to open the door when he heard a feminine voice call over to him
“Hi neighbour, I’m Y/N my family just moved here”
He turned his head and looked over his shoulder. His shades blocking out his rolling eyes for the last thing he needed right now was to make small talk with one of his new neighbours
“Hi” he respond coldly, clearly in no mood to start a conversation especially with someone who he barely knew, especially in the hell hole that was Hawkins she would stick her nose where it doesn’t belong. As from Billy’s experience that is that all people do from this wretched town, and he has zero interest in being her friend just because they’re neighbours doesn’t mean that he owes her shit.
But to his dismay she didn’t let the ice cold response deter her away from getting to know the blonde hair boy, who was most probably glaring at her from behind his tinted shades.
“I made some ice tea if you want some?” She smiled motioning towards the jug sat on her porch. Her voice quite possibly angelic like the bright summer sun personified. She looked so radiant standing there in her denim shorts smiling at him with her pink bubblegum lips.
Much to Billy’s distaste she pulled him in, she was far from the girls he had on his posters or those in his porn magazines that was kept under his bed. She looked angelic, like the gods in heaven handcrafted her to look so damn perfect, this good girl persona who saw the best in everyone, and god did it make Billy sick.
“I don’t drink tea darling” he dismissed her friendly gesture, adding a very condescending tone on the word darling, so she’d really get the picture that he doesn’t want to give her the time of day.
Her brows furrowed slightly, questioning what she did wrong? Isn’t this how you were supposed to introduce yourself to your new neighbour? Maybe in Indiana they did things differently that she wasn’t aware of.
“I can get you some water if you like?” She offered, trying to piece back her smile back together again, but this time it was slightly wobbling from being so rudely dismissed. But Y/N liked to believe the best in everyone, maybe that was her fatal flaw? She was still so innocent and naive that her view of the world has yet to be destroyed and corrupted.
He clicked his tongue and pressed his lips together, what the fuck is wrong with this girl?
He walked towards the fence where she leant upon. He towered above her, glaring daggers into her flesh.
“Look I don’t know if you’re deaf or something, but I don’t have any pleasure in standing here talking to the likes of you” he sneered, almost having some form of sadistic pleasure in seeing her smile drop, her eyes avoiding his as her shoulders caved in around her.
He walked back to his front door, giving another glance to the girl who stood frozen by the fence. Smiling to himself, at least now she knows not to think that people in this place are as friendly as she believes, in a way he was protecting her from being crushed further along the line. Best to rip the band aid off now and to open her eyes to the shit hole that is Hawkins Indiana
When the moon found the sun, he looked like he was barely hanging on, but her eyes saved his life
Y/N threw the trash bag that was slung over her shoulder into the silver trash can nestled by the side of her house.
Taking a brief moment to admire the neighbourhood that she now calls home. Looking at the pristine houses lined up in a row reflecting the pale moonlight that illuminated everything in sight. It look so quaint like something you’d see in movies about the idyllic American life.
“You’re fucking pathetic! You’re no son of mine, you’re just like you’re fucking mother. You’re a pussy just like her, get the fuck out of my sight”
Her ears pricked up at the booming loud voice spitting venom. It seemed to be coming from that boy’s house that she met a few days ago. She flinched at the aggressive voice booming so loud she didn’t know if she should call the police. The rest of the neighbourhood didn’t show any concern over the intense threatening screaming, like this was a casual thing that she should learn to grow use to. Y/N refused to let anyone suffer this extent of abuse, and those who just sat there and not doing a thing over these awful screams were simply inhumane.
She heard a sickening thud followed by silence, that made her feel sick to her stomach. She prayed that whoever was on the receiving end of those violent threats was okay and she didn’t just hear their body drop to the ground.
Billy stormed out of the house after receiving a powerful blow to his right eye socket and a punch to the nose for good measure. Neil laughing in Billy’s face when he flinched as the pain kicked in after his punch, blood gushing from his bruised and swollen nose.
God he hates it, he hates how weak he feels. Every punch he receives brings the waterworks to his eyes as he just wants a normal life, is that too much to ask for? When Billy was young and naive, instead of wishing for a puppy or what ever shit younger kids wished for on their birthdays, Billy wished for a farther who actually loved him, someone who didn’t punch him nearly everyday. Billy stopped wishing and blowing out candles, now he’s just lucky if on his birthday he can survive the day unscathed.
Billy lit a cigarette, shakily holding it to his lips. Taking such a deep inhale not caring that the smoke would damage his lungs, at this point he’d gladly embrace it. The tears flooded his cheeks as his breathing became erratic, fuck he really can’t deal with this shit for much longer.
Billy let out his pained frustrated cry of anger into the night sky as he kicked the fence that separated his house to his neighbour. Running his fingers through his curls, he couldn’t stop his body from trembling. He looked over his shoulder and was met with the wide eyes of Y/N who stared at him in a state of utter shock, with her hands pressed against her mouth to muffle the sharp gasp.
Great this is just what he needed right now
“What are you looking at?” He snarled, pressing his lips in a firm line to stop his tears from escaping. This is the last thing he wants is this girl to take pity on him, to think that he’s weak and pathetic
“You’re hurt”
“Wow way to state the obvious darling “ he scoffed, rolling his eyes, turning away from her.
He wish that he wasn’t seen especially like this, what is she going to do anyway? Ignore his suffering like every damn person in this neighbourhood did, that’s what he deserved right? To be left alone to rot, that’s what his mom did, she left him when he needed her. She was the first person to show him that the world didn’t care about him, for she saw his suffering and didn’t love him enough to care. For if she really cared about him she would of taken him far away from here. No one cares about billy hargrove and that’s the cold harsh truth he learnt to accept at a young age, that’s why he drank too much, for alcohol brought him the comfort of forgetting and numbing out this agonising emotional pain.
“You can come inside, we’ve got a medical box in the bathroom cupboard. I could get you patched up?” She offered her voice trembling with nerves, from a mix of Billy’s tendencies to meet kindness with aggression, and still in shock over what she over heard. I mean what kind of monster would beat his own son?
He didn’t answer her, his shoulders hunched as small sobs overtook his body. Billy didn’t know why this small act of kindness hit him so damn hard, for no one cared for him or at least pretends to care, for all he was met with was people looking the other way pretending that they didn’t see a single thing. All Billy ever wanted was someone to actually care about him, to show him an ounce of kindness, at this point he’d settle for the scraps of human decency.
But of course if you’ve spent your whole life not even receiving the bare minimum, you would simply believe that you didn’t deserve it. Because why else would his mom leave, why else would his farther hate him? It was easier to believe that he was unworthy of love and affection, to stop himself from breaking down into a puddle of tears every time at work when he saw fathers teaching their sons to swim, when they would hug them and not be afraid to say ‘ I love you’ to them.
“I don’t believe what he said” she stuttered, not really sure what to say next for billy was like a time bomb not knowing when he was next going to blow. But Y/N knew something and that was that she wasn’t going to leave him alone at least not tonight. “I don’t think you’re pathetic”
“You barely know me”
“All the more reason for you to prove me right. Are you coming?”
He sat on the porcelain lid of the toilet seat, while she hovered above his hips, her tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth in concentration as she inspected every part of his beaten face.
“I don’t understand” he muttered, it was supposed to be just for him to hear, but when their bodies were almost flushed together she couldn’t help but hear every word.
“What?”
“It’s just that you don’t know me, so why are you doing this?”
“You’re hurt and even though you don’t like me I couldn’t allow you to be on your own” she shrugged reaching towards the damp cloth resting on the corner of the sink.
“I don’t hate you-“
“But you always find flaws in all the nice gestures I do for you. You always-“
“Because you scare me”
“I scare you?” She questioned, she looked so dumbfounded by his response. Trying to cast her memory on what she could of done that could of been misconstrued
He sighed, as he looked her into her angel like eyes, that somehow his breaths got lodged in his throat and his thoughts scrambled into such a mess that he didn’t know how to function properly. Billy was a man of many words but she had the ability to reduce him into a babbling mess, he hated how much she enticed him. Billy believed it to be easier just to shut her out, as when you’re so use to abuse, kindness and love feels so alien, like a poison you have to spit out.
“Yes you do! I mean you’re nice to me for Christ sake, you treat me like I’m a good person and I can tell you darling I’m far from being a good person..” his sentence trailed away into thin air for he wanted to stop himself from admitting, not only to you, but out loud. that he may have a crush on the most sweetest, big hearted person he has ever met. He knows that deep down you deserve someone way better than him, someone without a reputation and without a closet full of baggage.
As she wiped the dried blood from his nose, he felt her breath warming his skin, making Billy’s breath hitched which further fuelled this unfamiliar feeling in billy.
She crouched down further to be on his level looking back into his eyes, giving him a kind sympathetic smile as if to say ‘I don’t believe a word you’ve just said’
“I believe that you’re a good person ..”
“Billy”
“Billy” she smiled feeling how the word felt to say. Billy swore that he hasn’t heard a sound so beautiful than his name falling from her tender lips, if he could replay it over and over again he would
“I’d like to be your friend if you’d let me?”
He felt his heart drop, friends was the furthest thing that he wanted to be with Y/N, but it’s a price he’s willing to pay just to have her close by. She’s too good for him and deep down billy believes it to be true
So he said “would it be alright if we just sat and talked for a little while?”
Y/N sat on the sun bed at the communal pool, drying off the water droplets of the chlorine pool water from her hair. The blazing sun shone down almost feeling like it was cooking her skin, so a dip in the cooling pool waters was definitely needed.
Which is why she was surprised by the group of mom’s to her left. They were giddily giggling as if they were back in high school, all dolled up to the nines. Looking as if they should be on their way to Enzos not lounging by the pool.
Y/N tried to mind her own business but she was utterly confused by the older women, how they were staring at the clock, reapplying another layer of lipstick as if they haven’t put on a coat 10 minutes before. All of them squealing about how it’s soon time for the lifeguard to come on shift, by the way they were squealing you’d think that someone famous was about to walk in.
Y/N would be lying if she said that this mystery lifeguard didn’t perk her interest, as the way the women were hyping them up they must be something special.
She picked up her book from the floor and placed her shades on her face trying to look inconspicuous as possible, for she didn’t want the women to know that she had overheard their conversation.
“It’s time” the mom with bleach blonde hair joyfully announced capturing the eager attention from the surrounding women.
Y/N pushed her book down which she gave up trying to pay attention to a while ago. She saw the female lifeguard in a skin tight red swim suit, stepping down from her chair strutting towards the changing rooms.
Y/N was momentarily deafen by the screams coming from their mouths, as the same door the female lifeguard exited from, out stepped no other than Billy Hargrove. Y/N almost choked on air for he was the last person she expected to see. She again didn’t like to judge people but she couldn’t help but judge the way the moms were battering their eyelashes towards the teen, biting their lips as they approached their sun beds, for Billy was old enough to be their own son. It felt very uncomfortable to observe as he was an minor they should really know better.
Y/N almost slammed the book into her face to hide her burning cheeks. Billy made her flustered especially how god like his tanned skin illuminated his washboard abs, the way his tongue swiped across his lips making her forget how to breathe altogether. Hoping that if she stuck her nose in her book she would just blend into the background and he would just walk right by her, so he wouldn’t have to see her scarlet cheeks and the way her body temperature was increasing rapidly making her perspire.
Instead of making his usual stop to greet Mrs Wheeler that it became a daily habit, it became such a habit that he felt like his day was thrown off if he didn’t see the blonde looking at him adoringly. Billy didn’t care about her in that sense, sure he flirted with her but to him it meant nothing. Billy just liked the attention, he liked how he could escape to work everyday being seen like this person who is worthy of all the attention his life lacks.
Much to the woman’s dismay he didn’t even look at her, she even convinced her husband to buy her a new swimsuit, of course he is blind to the reason why she brought it, but she knew she looked hot the least he could do was acknowledge her. Clenching her jaw together, glaring at the person who captured his attention instead of her, if looks could kill this girl would be dead in a matter of seconds.
Billy kept on walking past their sun beds for a girl in a baby blue bikini who was laughably failing at being discreet . For she was holding the book too close to her face to read a word, she did look adorable and that bikini look gorgeous on her, it complimented every curve on her frame. Billy had to mentally remind himself where he was before he stared for too long admiring every part of her perfect soft figure.
“Hey darling”
“Hi” she tried to muffle her squeak with a cough, still determined to stay buried within the confines of her book. She couldn’t figure out how to regulate her breaths, maybe it was the secret vulnerability or the fact he looked so damn delicious in those shorts, but something in that day made Y/N form a crush upon him.
He couldn’t help but laugh at her sudden timidness, he found her adorable sitting there trying to avoid this small crush she had formed on him, without realising how obvious she was being. She truly was the most endearing person he had ever had the pleasure to have met.
“How’s your book?”
“It’s good”
“I’m sure it is darling as you haven’t changed the page in 10 minutes” he smirked sitting down beside her. She placed her book down when she felt the bed dip beside her, her eyes traced the outline of his physique, she gulped loudly as her eyes darted towards the ground below. Cringing at herself for being the furthest thing from discreet.
“See something you like darling?” He winked at her, smiling as she squirmed in discomfort. He must admit that it heavily boosted his ego seeing her melt under his charm, he had Y/N exactly where he wanted her.
That’s one thing about Billy Hargrove he wasn’t use to doing the chasing, he would rather have girls throw themselves at his feet. But something about Y/N’s innocence and how effortlessly entrancing she was, she captured him with such a vice like grip that billy can’t escape, not that he wanted to. He would gladly die under her spell, all he wanted to do with her is to woo her, take her out and do all that romantic bullshit he saw in movies. And the obvious signs that she liked him back made Billy’s once cold and bitter heart swoon.
God what has Y/N done to him?
“I’m kidding darling, I was just wondering what you were doing here”
“Well I’m just exploring the place and you know without school starting there isn’t a lot to do” she shrugged, biting her lip, twirling a strand of her luscious hair around her fingertips.
Fuck did she have any idea what she was doing to him right now, if billy could he’d gladly eat her up
“I get off at 5, what are you doing then?” He flirted, smiling at her cheeks change of colour now she didn’t had her book to hide behind.
“Erm I’ve got the house to myself and I was going to watch this film I rented” Y/N nervously stuttered, unsure to what he was suggesting. Was Billy hargrove seriously asking her out? Or was he just being friendly and she was reading the whole situation completely wrong. For surely a person like billy would have cheerleaders throwing themselves at his feet, swooning at his Californian charm, there’s no way he was seriously toying with her right?
“Be ready at 6 darling” he grabbed her hand into his and placed a delicate kiss to her knuckles. He stood up, giving her a wink as he returned back to duty.
He left Y/N in such a state of shock, her mouth gaping like a fish. Unable to process what the fuck just happened to her.
Completely oblivious to the scoffs and death stares she received from the moms who just watched the whole situation unfold. Completely jealous of this mysterious new girl who captured the heart of their beloved lifeguard, while they were living off scraps of the teens attention.
So she said ‘that’s okay just as long as you can make a promise not to break my little heart or leave me all alone in the summer”
Soothing out the skirt of her daffodil coloured dress, staring at her self in the mirror, turning around to make sure that she looked good from all angles.
Y/N heard a knock at the door breaking her out of her trance allowing the nerves to completely kick in.
She’s actually having a date with the handsome boy next door
Trying to ignore the anxiety weighing heavily in her stomach, churning with each step as some dark thoughts whispered that this was a bad idea as he could never like someone like you.
“Hey darling” he smiled trailing her figure with his eyes, she looked radiant looking at him with her doe eyes. She truly looked beautiful
“Hi billy” she smiled, reaching towards him wrapping her arms around him. Billy was slightly taken aback by her warm gesture as he wasn’t use to girls being so gentle with him. He wrapped his arms around her taking in her scent of strawberries, and how perfectly she fitted into his arms, like she was made just for him.
Billy hated upbeat films, he’d rather sit and watch films that contains an obscene amount of violence. Always delighting when the good guy punches the ever living shit out of the bad guy, maybe because he wishes more than anything that he could dish out his father’s medicine back towards him. So Y/N’s favourite film of Grease was far from his usual watch, but seeing how enthralled she was by the film, made it bearable.
Halfway through the film, he slid his arm over her shoulder bringing her body closer to his. Bringing goosebumps all over her skin.
She felt his hand lifting her chin to face him, looking at him in the eyes she felt shivers running down her spine. He looked at her with soft eyes fluttering to a close, bringing her face closer to his till their lips were only an inch apart. Y/N forgot how to breathe entirely, if billy doesn’t kiss her now she swears that she’ll combust.
The kiss was tender and soft, far from the heated kisses Billy gave just to snake his way into the pants of some chick who’s name he couldn’t remember. but with her he wanted to take his time to get to know her properly, to do all the small steps of dating that one was expected to do.
Her heart fluttered the moment his lips connected upon hers, like she died and went to heaven. When he pulled away she felt a small pang of emptiness wanting him to kiss her over and over again.
“How about I take you out this Friday?” He whispered against her lips
“Like a date? So this isn’t a one time thing?”
“Oh darling you’re too special to be a one time thing” placing his lips back upon hers.
Well he was just hanging around then he fell in love
“And this is black widow, she’s such a badass” Max spoke with enthusiasm as she sat cross legged next to Y/N pointing at the comic book in her lap.
“She used to be bad then she turned good, but she can take down like 100 men with nothing but a gun and her assassin skills” max added, taking a sip of her ice tea.
“She sounds cool”
“More than cool, she’s powerful. Thanks for the tea Y/N-“
“Max what are you doing here?” She turned to see the face of a very puzzled Billy, wondering why his sister was at his girlfriend’s house.
“Y/N invited me, why are you here?” Max challenged, annoyed that Billy had to ruin what had been a perfect afternoon. The new neighbour was warm and caring, she only met the older girl a few hours ago but she felt a sisterly bond, one that she had yet to form with Billy.
“Hey” Y/N spoke trying to defuse the tension before it became fiery and heated. “I invited both of you”
Max looked at her in confusion, under what circumstances would a sweet girl like Y/N want to do with practically the biggest asshole of Hawkins or even in Indianan.
“I’m dating your brother” she smiled getting up to her feet placing a kiss upon Billy’s lips, which caused a fake gag from max. “And Billy be nice, I invited Max she’s a nice kid”
Which caused billy to scoff, she elbowed Billy’s side to tell him to behave.
Max collected her comic books into her arms, glaring at billy, her face softened when she looked at Y/N
“Thanks for inviting me Y/N, I better get going. maybe we could do this again sometime?” She suggested giving her a hug, max turned to her brother, “I swear to god Billy if you ever hurt her in anyway I’ll make your life a living hell!” And with that threat max closed the door behind her.
Billy Wrapped his arms around Y/N’s waist, resting his chin on her head, taking in her comforting scent. “I missed you Y/N”
“What was that?”
“What was what?”
“With max? She’s a sweet kid so why are you so mean towards her?”
“Maxine is my step sister, we have never gotten on. My dad likes her over me and wishes that she was truly his kid and not me” billy had to stop himself mid sentence as tears started to well in his ocean eyes. Swallowing them back down and continue to pretend that he wasn’t hurting from old wounds that lay infected never to heal.
“Billy, I’m sorry. I hope that you could see yourself through my eyes” Y/N softly smiled turning around to face him, looking in his eyes for what she had to say next, hoping that her words could penetrate into his soul so he could truly believe what she had to say. “I see a sensitive and sweet soul, someone who never fails to make me laugh, someone who brings out the best in me, someone who I love”
“Please don’t say what you don’t mean” he whispered, tears streaming down his cheeks. He was told from the day he was born that he was unloveable and that was what he grew to believe. Settling for one night stands finding comfort as and when he needs without the word he was undeserving to feel attached to.
“Billy I mean it, I love you” Y/N wiped his tears away with her thumb, kissing him gently on the cheek. “I felt it for a while, I truly love you Billy Hargrove”
“You really mean that?”
“Of course I do”
“I love you too darling” billy held her close to his beating heart that was beating only for her. She truly saved his life without realising it, for she didn’t let his protective outer layer deter her from getting to know him, the true him. He could finally let his guard down, the broken inner child that was kicked and punched has finally found someone to piece together his fragile heart.
For the first time in his life he felt he deserved to be loved, he found love in the beautiful internal summer which is Y/N. He was in love and was finally loved in return
When the moon fell in love with the sun all was golden in the sky, All was golden when the day met the night
A/N: thanks for reading, writing Billy fics have such a hold on me. Also I’m aware that Billy’s mother isn’t to blame, I just feel like sometimes he’d think like that. 100% more fics with this boy will be posted soon
