Hi! I’ve collected photos of pumpkin spice products for 8 years now. It started out as a game I played by myself, but I started getting pms from friends, and now I invite anyone to play. I make everyone follow some particular rules:
1. The products must be real, and the picture you send me must be taken by you or someone you know.
2. The product must say the word “pumpkin” and the word “spice” to qualify. “Pumpkin pie” doesn’t count.
3. I only want one photo of each product, no duplicates. I want a new photo of that product each year however.
Anyway, since I’ve been collecting these photos for so long, I thought it would be cool to share some of my faves, and some of the weirdest ones.

Update from their Facebook page. I’m sure she would still love to receive cards, even late.
Bjo Trimble is the First Lady of Star Trek. She and her husband, John, organized the original Save Star Trek campaigns that kept the original series on the air for the third season in the 1960s. She edited and published the Star Trek Concordance, the amazing reference work that predated our Encyclopedia. She and John organized countless conventions, art shows, and other fannish events, including the legendary Equicon.
In 1976, she mobilized fandom to persuade President Gerald Ford to name the first space shuttle, Enterprise. Bjo's daughter, Laura, reminds us that Bjo turns 90 on August 15th.
She probably won't see birthday greetings posted on social media, but if you're grateful to her, too, you might consider sending a birthday card to her at

Ok but like. What the fuck is there to do on the internet anymore?
Idk when I was younger, you could just go and go and find exciting new websites full of whatever cool things you wanted to explore. An overabundance of ways to occupy your time online.
Now, it's just... Social media. That's it. Social media and news sites. And I'm tired of social media and I'm tired of the news.
Am I just like completely inept at finding new things or has the internet just fallen apart that much with the problems of SEO and web 3.0 turning everything into a same-site prison?

I have discovered a new favorite hobby.
Go to an AI art generator, set it to its most realistic style, and ask it for images of ballerinas.
^I call this one “Sleipnir”
To be fair, this is an actual photo of actual professional ballet dancers, so you can hardly blame the computer for being a little confused:

the gimmick blogs are like tumblr’s rogue gallery. yes we’ve got some heroes, yes we’ve got some villains, but more importantly if you look over here you will see some freak who devotes all their time to counting the number of “t’s” in a post

I know people think the conversion of barbieland to a patriarchy was stupid because greta was either unable or unwilling to acknowledge the real world systems that have historically supported it but personally I think the in-universe explanation that the barbies had lived in a matriarchy for so long that it was easy to brainwash them because they had no idea how bad it would be (and maybe even thought it would be a fun change of pace?) is INCREDIBLY relevant for zillennial girls who've grown up taking feminist victories for granted and are now embracing tiktok tradwife bullshit. imo.

I was high off my ass last night and had this dream where I was in this dense ass forest and sitting there was a tall woman. She was so tall I couldn’t see her face but she was wearing gold and I was like “uh…hi?” And she said “I made you, do you know that?” And I nodded and she was like “I hear your thoughts. Why do you hate my creation? Why do you try to destroy yourself? I made you perfect as you are. Please don’t break my heart”. Then she started crying and it flooded and I woke up with fucking heart palpitations like what does it Mean™️????
