if you fall first, he's falling harder. he's completely smitten with you and he shows you this through his actions. scott will guide you with a hand on your back, opening doors and pulling your chair out for you. he does practically anything possible to make your day easier if he can. he's so overprotective and jealous but you can't ever get mad at him. not when he gets extra touchy around logan or looks like a sad puppy after you interact with kurt.

however we all know scott does have bite to him especially if push comes to shove. you've snatched his hand as he reached for his glasses on multiple occasions during dates after someone disrespected you, trying to prevent a scene from unfolding. he apologizes afterwards he just gets in the heat of the moment and he would die for your honor.

he'd poke at your side as you work without a care. the speedster had to take it slow and it was driving him crazy. your name was called out numerous times in increasingly more whiny tones before you give up and turn to him.

it's hard to be mad at him when you can tell his broken leg is driving him insane. you let out a sigh as you push your work away, it can wait for another day and you can't help but smile as the silvered hair boy's eyes light up.

peter's had a plan at the ready and the two of you spend the rest of the day cuddled up watching horror movies and snacking.

the two of you hardly spoke about it directly only acknowledging it on alex's last night before he left. his hands cupped your jaw as he took in every last detail of your face, as if this would be your last night together. you pushed down the worry and tried to focus on the blonde in front of you. the night was filled with passion, you hoped his touch would burn into your skin so you'd never forget it.

the next year passed in a blur of restless late nights and letters of love between the two of you. the mansion had started to clear out and you went with it.

the apartment you found was nice enough, although, something was missing. no, someone was missing. time seemed to pass so slowly as you waited for alex and for alex, on the other side of the world, all he could think about was you.

when alex had finally arrived back to america, he couldn't help but feel nervous about seeing you. they were the sort of nerves he had felt when he had fallen in love with you. he stood at your apartment door, he was unsure if you were even home.

his hands roughened by the act of war knocked out a familiar rhythm and as your voice seeped out from behind the door, it had finally hit him. alex was home.

your breath caught in your throat when you saw him. his short blonde hair put into a nice military cut with tired blue eyes gleaming at you. you practically pounced at him, hugging him tight with tears in your eyes. he steadied himself as he held you, taking in your scent.

alex was no longer in midst of a violent conflict he didn't want to fight in, he was at home with you in his arms.

the fact that erik specifically tries to find other telepaths to be his partner, such as Emma Frost after Charles rejects him on the beach (he goes searching for her bc he states ON SCREEN that losing Charles "left a bit of a gap in my life" ok 💅) & then he has Selene in Dark Phoenix (who is also bald lol) is just so funny

I feel like when Charles was fighting Selene in the street in Dark Phoenix he wasn't even fighting but was just telepathically sending this to her over and over

he stands by the window, basking in the soft glow of the sun rise. his jaw line sculpted by that of the gods. you can't help but reach out for him. the desire to appreciate the man in front of you may be a selfish one but it's one deeply rooted in love. he's taking in the sight when he feels your touch against his broad back, tensing for just a moment at the sudden sensation before relaxing. scott turns to you and you take the opportunity to glide your hands along his chest, defined from the countless years of hard work. you can't quite see past the crimson lenses that block his eyes but scott's gaze is filled with love, his slightly disheveled brunette locks freely slip across his forehead, framing his face. his hands softly grip your face as he brings you in for a kiss, calloused finger tips grazing across your skin as your lips meet.
