A journal entry

I knew I would miss Hima, However the extent of how much I miss her has taken me surprise. There is no one now to pop my random bombs, so no way I can show off what I filled them with. There is no one now that wants to do artistic projects like paint walls, or make the cloths for my clockwork dolls. There is no one to completely change the mood of a room. No one that surprises me every time I try to predict their actions. Baby even misses Hima, or at the very least the treats she spoiled him with.

She said she write, but there is a good chance she wont regardless. Some seem to think she’s not coming back, that’s she’s gone for good. I haven’t had the courage yet to face Kho and see what she thinks. I heard Xeala do blood feuds so avoiding her is best for now.  Most of the tribe don’t seem to notice her gone, or they are pretending anyway. I think Nala does though. I think that’s why she suddenly decided she should mess with my stuff, and started this prank war. At least that's what Hal called it. I’m not sure hiding my tools counts as a prank though.

I hope wherever she is, she’s able to think. I want her to come back, but I know if she doesn’t for her sake everything has to change. Or she has to change. Being a force of nature doesn’t mean much if you don’t know your own nature. With all the weight that was on her back, she can’t move or stand without a foundation. She needs to know what she is, who she is, and what she wants. She needs to know if she IS a she, or if she is really a he.

Sitting in the desk shared with Nala, Baggie writes in a newly purchased journal, a new entry. For the first time ever unprompted by any educator. Now she simply wrote to wrote.

Summer is falling to dusk, and soon Autumn will rise to dawn. Then I will have observed another full cycle in my life. I’m not sure how many cycles exactly I have observed so far, it never really mattered before. Yet there are so many who seem to believe I haven’t observed enough of them. It’s quite silly really. How do they know I haven’t seen enough cycles if I don’t even know how many cycles I’ve seen? Before the start of this last cycle no one cared how many cycles I have observed, but then before the start of this cycle no one cared to think of me as a person.

Somehow I transformed for people in the span of this cycle. I transformed for myself in the span of this cycle. Before I wasn’t a person, I was just a scavenger, refugee, something they call a street rat. That’s a type of animal that looks like a person but is actually an animal. Uld’ah is full of them. I was one of them.

I lived survived in my little tent outside the city. I went out of Uld’ah gathered what I could, hunted what I could. I went into Uld’ah to sell what I could, buy what I could, and take shelter when I could. For five cycles I was there, and I spoke maybe a dozen words in that time. It was no wonder people didn’t see me as a person, because I wasn’t.

I had no dreams, except for the nightmares. I had no want, except to not die. I had no strong emotions except fear, despair, and curiosity. Somehow curiosity has been my longest companion. Before anything, and everything, I was curious. I still am. Other than curiosity I had nothing. I was nothing.

Now look at me. I’m a person. In a span of cycle I transformed from nothing to a person. Most of this transformation lies with my tribe. My condors. My family. Some of it lies with my teachers, Daniel and Alfy. Some of it lies within myself, sleeping fragments that lay inside of me waiting to wake up. The start of it, was Baby.

He’s been with me a full cycle now. I remember seeing the merchant sell exotic animals. I remember seeing him in the pen, then slipping out. I remember looking in his eyes, and seeing my own. Maybe that’s why I did it. We share the same gold eyes, the same wild look. Whatever the reason, he was the first I made mine, and that was the start of it.

I know this now, because it was the first time I did something that wasn’t a need. Before everything I did was for food, shelter, or protection. Every thought, every desire, every motion was just for those three so important things. Then suddenly there was a different thought. I thought of another living being other than myself.

Then everything changed. I met Lithi, and I became Baggie. I met Danyel and I learned to read and write. I met Arl, and I moved from a little tent for just me to a little apartment for a tribe to a grand house with a grand room for me and three of my sisters. I met everyone, and everyone changed me in their own way. Hima, Lyhi, Nala, Lia, Lani, Hal, Vesh, Aurmi everyone. Then I became T’rosia Arl.

If I changed this much in the span of a cycle, will I even be able to recognize me when the next summer sets? Maybe then I’ll have another name. I hope not.

Baggie’s Sunday Night Adventure Party

This week’s adventure party happening on 2/25 is being postponed due to rl issues! I’ll reschedule hopefully for next week!

There comes a time in every adventurer’s career when they are called to rescue a princess, and Baggie’s time has now come! Princess Tataina, daughter of an esteemed wealthy merchant, has gone missing! Her father has set out a hefty bounty for anyone who can bring her home alive and unharmed! 

Baggie has caught rumors whispering that the princess has been captured by bandits in the coastline. With this one and only lead, she fully intends to collect this bounty before anyone else.

Now who will join in her in the business of princess rescuing?

Its time for another adventure party! This one is taking place Sunday 2/25 at 10pm! We will be meeting at Vesper Bay!

Though in truth even that can be over looked as well. So basically anyone can join, as long as you sign up, though if you don’t know Baggie or anyone joining, we’ll have to do a bit more arranging as to why you are suddenly in this party.

Baggie’s Sunday Night Adventure! 2/18/18

A impoverish merchant down on his luck is heading to the Silver Bazaar from Scorpions Crossing with goods he was unable to sell in the Uld’ah markets. However he has heard tidings that bandits might be in the area and decides to take precautions. Fortunately he cannot avoid an actual security escort, so instead he turns to the discounted security... a thirteen year old adventurer and the few adults accompanying her for the evening! The Silver Bazaar isn’t that far.. this was only a precaution really... how much danger could they really run into?

Once again its time for a Sunday Night Adventure! This time its a paying job accepted by an impoverish merchant. Should they successfully deliver the cargo to the Silver Bazaar all of the party will be paid.. a little bit. How much can be determined to you, but it’s clear the job could have gone for much higher. Of course if it did they would have never hired a adolescent to do the job! 

This week there will be a chance of failure. The consequences of the job failed is the impoverish merchant becomes even more impoverish and nobody gets paid. Should the job succeed the impoverish merchant will be grateful and everyone gets paid. 

How this mission can fail are in two ways. One, bandits can steal all the crates being carted off, and two, the two ally npcs can die. There will be a total of three crates in the wagon, and the two ally npcs will have 3 hit points each. 

This mission can succeed as long as all three crates and two ally npcs make it the destination alive. Should only some of the crates, or some of the npcs make it to the destinations it will be considered a failure. 

This event takes place this Sunday 2/18 at 10pm EST. We will be meeting in Scorpion’s Crossing which is in Hammerlea, just outside the Gates of Nald in Western Thanalan. Only 5 players may attend this event, its first come first serve so sign up to reserve your spot. 

You are not obligated to be in the same FC or tribe as Baggie to attend. You are not obligated to even know Baggie to attend, however you should know at least one other in party, and that person should be familiar with Baggie.

To my future role-play partner:

I know it can be difficult- waiting to find each other. We’ve had other role-play- some that has worked and some that has not- but nothing that has fit just right yet- or not that we have anymore. Don’t worry- I will be patient and understanding with you if you are with me too- I promise I’m out here- doing the best I can to find you- without being overly pushy on people- and while battling my social anxieties, flaws and reasons. Don’t give up on me- because I’m still holding out for you. I am ready to be that person in your corner. The friend who is always there for you- who cares about your day on top of our endless oc plotting- movie nights- pve- rp- we’re going to do it all and have such a great time. So don’t feel so down and alone-  - just because we haven’t realized our potential yet- doesn’t mean we can’t already support one another. Chin up and smile for me- await the numerous hugs-  I know we’ll figure it out eventually- and can you imagine the stories we’re going to write? The world isn’t ready for all we’re going to create. Baggie’s Sunday Adventure Party

When it comes to being a refugee, your cast is with a hard lot life. Double so as many in better standing come to take advantage of your desperation. Yet there is someone out there who is doing far worse. Refugee children are going missing, one by one, and there is no one willing or able to help look for them. Some are orphans and simply never missed. Some have parents who are left to despair with no one willing to help them search. With so many refugees about, it's hard to notice the lack of the half sized ones running about, unless you were a refugee yourself.

Baggie has noticed the disappearances, being a refugee herself. Now she sets out to find her missing friends. This adventure will promise her no rewards, but she feels it's simply the right thing to do. However it's far to dangerous for a thirteen year old to do so alone, more than likely she’ll simply disappear with the rest of the children! To her credit, Baggie understands this, and thus she calls for an adventure party. Five adventurers will join her, and together they will save the children, or at the very least find out what happened to them.

Welcome to Baggie’s Sunday Adventure Party! Where every Sunday I shall host an adventure for 5 people! They will start every Sunday at 10pm est.

This adventure is taking place Sunday February, 11th at 10pm est. We will meet in Uld’ah.

Each adventure will be slightly different but will probably involve combat of some sort. Every event will be a hybrid of table top and in game rp, using this mechanic system:

The event is limited to only 5 people so its first come first serve, signing up is the only way to secure your spot. You will have to sign up every week, no holding spots indefinitely for people. (This will of course mean your not obligated to attend every single week, you ever want to step out, simply don’t sign up \o/)

If you have no idea what combat speicalites, or feats are, please look at my mechanics system link. You don’t have to read anything, just glance at the boxed in charts, and choose what you think works best for your character.  I highly encourage people to read the full document, however its alot to take in, and you don’t have to. I’ll be there to poke and explain things as we go along. The system only requires you to pick four things so I know what kind of buffs to give you.

You are not obligated to be apart of Baggie’s fc or tribe to participate but its best if you know someone (anyone) joining in the party. If it’s not Baggie herself, then a friend that’s joining in the party. If you do not know anyone, including Baggie, but wish to participate then message me and we’ll work something out \o/

Since the event will be limited to a total of 6 people, (5 players and 1 gm) we will be in party, and using party chat as ooc chatter. If anyone wants to come and simply lamp (observe) they are welcome too but will not be able to be in party chat, that’s for participants only.
