The True Path to Salvation: Why Religion Alone Cannot Save Us
Tumblr media
Many people turn to religion seeking salvation, hoping that by following a set of rules or rituals, they can earn their place in heaven. But what does the Bible, the word of God, say about this? According to Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." This passage clearly states that salvation comes through faith in God's grace, not through our own works or religious practices. Our salvation is not something we can earn; it’s a gift from God, given freely to those who put their trust in Jesus Christ. This doesn’t mean that church practices are irrelevant, but rather that they are not the means by which we are saved. Jesus has already secured our salvation by dying on the cross because of His love for us and His knowledge that we cannot save ourselves. As John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This verse highlights the incredible love and grace of God, who offers salvation to all who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned through human efforts or good deeds or merits; it’s a gift from God, made possible through His grace and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. No amount of religious striving can earn us eternal life—it's only through faith in Jesus that we can have true salvation. Our salvation is entirely dependent on God's grace, not on our own efforts or merits. It’s a humbling reminder that we cannot save ourselves. In John 14:6, Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Here, Jesus makes it clear that He is the only way to God the Father. Salvation is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, not through religious systems or rituals. Religious systems are man-made and no man can dictate the way to reach God; it is God who reached out to us by sending His only begotten Son to save us. Consider also Matthew 7:21-23, where Jesus says, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." This passage emphasizes the importance of aligning our lives with God's will and putting only our faith in Him, rather than just going through religious motions. The message is clear: religion alone cannot save us. It is only through God's grace, as revealed in Jesus Christ, that we can have true salvation and eternal life. We should place our faith not in our own religious efforts, but in the unmerited favor of God, who offers us forgiveness and redemption through His Son Jesus Christ. If you are still in doubt and unsure about where you will go after you die, it is not too late. Accept the love of God, humble yourself, acknowledge that you are a sinner who needs a Savior, and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone. He died for you to give you eternal life. You don’t know what will happen tomorrow. Accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Now is the time, now is the day of salvation. As 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." God knows those who belong to Him and He listens to them
Tumblr media
Are you true to your faith in the Lord? If so, then be assured that God will hear you and answer you in His time and according to His will. Psalm 4:3 says "But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." Be sure to have the Lord Jesus Christ in you and that His Spirit is dwelling in you, Romans 8:9 says "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." 2 Timothy 2:19 also says "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." As believers, we have the assurance that God listens to us we are truly faithful and truly belong to Him. We can be confident that God listens to our prayers and answers when we call on Him. Our cries are not in vain but are heard by Him, and He responds according to His will. All we need to do is to be faithful, patient, and trust in His timing. During moments when it seems like our prayers are met with silence, remember that as believers, we have been sanctified by God's grace, and He holds us dear. He listens and responds, though His answers may not always align with our expectations. Instead of allowing our troubles to overshadow our perception of God, let us view our challenges through the lens of God's omnipotence. Psalm 66:18 warns, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me," while James 4:3 cautions against selfish requests, stating, "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." However, 1 John 5:14-15 assures us, "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." Let us live godly lives and maintain a consistent practice of prayer, knowing that our relationship with God and our earnest supplications are valued and acknowledged by Him. Let us also remember the importance of faith and trust in God's faithfulness to hear and answer prayers, even in times of trial or uncertainty. Philippians 4:6 says "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Look at your problems in the light of God’s power instead of looking at God in the shadow of your problems. If you are still in doubt of your faith and still not sure if you belong to Him, humble yourself by accepting that you are a sinner who needs a Savior, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and confess your faith to Him by accepting Him as your Lord and personal Saviour. From Weariness to Victory: Galatians 6:9 the assurance of Harvest
Tumblr media
In the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to become weary. We pour our hearts into our work, our relationships, and our passions, yet sometimes the results we desire seem elusive. It's in these moments of exhaustion and discouragement that we must cling to the timeless wisdom found in Galatians 6:9. Galatians 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." The verse urges us not to grow weary in doing good works for God's glory and honor, for in due season, we will reap if we do not faint. This message is a beacon of hope, a reminder that our efforts are not in vain, even when the fruits of our labor are not immediately evident.
Trust God's Timing
In a world that often values instant gratification, it's essential to remember that God operates on His own timeline. His plan for our lives surpasses our finite understanding, and His timing is always perfect. What may seem like a delay or a setback to us is merely a part of His greater design.
Claim God's Promises
As we navigate the ups and downs of life, it's crucial to stay steadfast in our faith and commitment to doing good. Even when we face trials and tribulations, we can find solace in the promises of Scripture. The verses from 2 Corinthians 4:17, Romans 8:18, and 1 Corinthians 15:58 further reinforce this message of endurance and perseverance. They remind us that our present sufferings are temporary compared to the eternal glory that awaits us. They encourage us to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 4:17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." 1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
Keep Pressing On
2 Timothy 2:3 "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." So, if you find yourself weary and discouraged, take heart. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Keep pressing forward, keep abiding in Him, and keep trusting in His perfect timing. As you endure with faith and perseverance, you will surely reap a bountiful harvest in due season. Meditation: Are you weary & Troubled? Reflect on areas of your life where you may be feeling weary or discouraged in your efforts. Consider how you can apply the message of Galatians 6:9 to these situations. What actions can you take to persevere in doing things for the Lord, trusting in God's timing for the harvest? Prayer Heavenly Father, in moments of weariness and discouragement, we turn to You for strength and guidance. Help us to hold fast to the promises of Your Word, especially the assurance found in your words. Grant us the perseverance to continue doing things for you, even when the results are not immediate. Teach us to trust in Your perfect timing and to find hope in Your eternal promises. In Jesus mighty name, Amen. Read the full article

Amplify Your Faith: The Power of Listening to God's Word
Tumblr media
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Christian Journey
In the spiritual journey of a Christian, one of the most vital yet often overlooked aspects is the art of listening to the word of the Lord. The passage from Colossians 3:16 reminds us that being a Christian isn't limited to the sporadic attendance of church services or the occasional upliftment we feel when we do so. True Christianity transcends mere physical presence in a place of worship; it is rooted in a profound relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledging ourselves as His children, and earnestly following His divine will.
Relationship
It is all too easy for us to fall into the trap of complacency, assuming that our faith is sufficient merely because we attend church services regularly. However, as the Scripture teaches us, true Christianity goes beyond these outward rituals. It calls us to accept the Lord into our hearts, with an intimate bond with Him, and dedicate ourselves to walk in His righteous path. The key to this profound relationship lies in our willingness to listen. The verse encourages us to 'Keep on reading, listen with your heart, and be willing to follow what God is saying.' This entails a deep commitment to regularly engaging with the Word of God, not as a mere exercise but as a profound spiritual practice. Through the act of listening to God's Word, we open our hearts to His wisdom, His guidance, and His transformative power.
His Words
As we immerse ourselves in His Word, we find ourselves being shaped and refined by its divine wisdom. We are corrected when we err, instructed when we falter and strengthened when we are weak. God's Word is not bound by the limitations of human wisdom; it transcends our understanding, offering insights and guidance that can only be grasped through a heart attuned to Him. In a world teeming with distractions and noise, it can be challenging to truly listen to the voice of God. However, it is precisely in this act of deep listening that our faith finds its nourishment and our purpose becomes clear. By continually immersing ourselves in the Word of God, we equip ourselves to fulfill His purpose in our lives, to grow in faith, and to walk in His righteous ways.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the words of Colossians 3:16 serve as a poignant reminder of the profound importance of listening to the word of God. True Christianity is not defined by external rituals but by an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a journey of continual listening, learning, and growing in faith. As we absorb His wisdom and guidance through His Word, we discover that God's words are indeed far beyond human wisdom, offering us a divine perspective that illuminates our path and strengthens our faith.
Remember these bible verses:
Colossians 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Read the full article

7 Ways to Get an Answer to Your Prayers
Tumblr media
Seeking answers to your prayers? The bible is teaching us to be persistent in prayer as God promised to answer all genuine prayers. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.Luke 11:9 KJV Everything we need spiritually has been promised that it will be given and God leaves us no excuse for failure. People often give up after a few halfhearted efforts to pray and then conclude that God doesn’t listen. But communicating with God in prayer takes faith, focus, and diligence, and Jesus has assured us that we will be rewarded as we develop a deep relationship with him. Continue to seek God and continue to ask him for more knowledge, patience, wisdom, love, and understanding, He will surely give these things to you. The more you talk and fellowship with Him, the more you will be able to recognize His voice when He speaks to you. For your prayers to be answered, you need to align your will with the will of God, and here are 7 ways to get an answer to your prayers. God will answer our prayers when we:
1. Obey Him and do what pleases Him
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.1 John 3:22
2. Confess sin and doesn’t entertain iniquity
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:Psalms 66:18 KJV
3. Continue to abide in Him
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.John 15:7 KJV
4. Ask according to the will of God
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:1 John 5:14
5. Ask in Faith
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.Mark 11:24 KJV
6. Have pure motives
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.James 4:3 KJV
7. Leave peaceably through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.1 Peter 3:7 KJV Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:2 Peter 3:2-3 KJV Mattew 7:7-8 KJV Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. God shall supply all your NEED - Not for everyone
Tumblr media
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:19 KJV We can trust that God can provide for our needs. But there is a difference between needs for human desires and needs for heavenly desires to glorify our Father in Heaven which gives us His grace. Most people would claim this promise that God will provide whatever they need without understanding the will of God in their life (Philippians 4:1-3).  This passage was written to Brethrens, servants of God and whose names are written in the book of life. If you truly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, in other words, genuine Christian, you can claim this promise. As Christians, we need to align ourselves according to the will of God as Philippians 4:19  says that God will supply our needs “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. We may expect a different outcome but trust that God allows things to happen for a purpose. As we contend for our Faith, we may face a lot of trials, challenges, sufferings, and difficulties but God promised that He will supply our needs. Through His abundant grace, He will give us the strength that we need (Philippians 4:13) to contend for our Faith, and as we share His gospel with others. Read the full article

Study to shew thyself approved unto God

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.2 Timothy 2:15 KJV The Bible alone tells us how to live for Him and serve Him. Are you growing spiritually? Soak yourself in the words of God
Tumblr media
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:1 Peter 2:2 KJV The moment you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, you become born again, you become a spiritual newborn baby. The need for milk is a natural instinct for a baby, and it requires nourishment that will lead to growth. As a Christian, you must have the desire to grow, to model your life after Jesus Christ, and to learn more about Him. Are you growing spiritually as you should? Do you have this desire? How eagerly do you want to grow? How earnestly do you desire nourishment from god's word? There's always a rough road ahead and the life of being Christian is not as easy as just picking a piece of paper and writing all you want to be. There will always be trials, hardships, persecutions, and confusions along the way but the best thing to do is to trust in God and follow His will. You will know God's will if you know Him better, know your God personally. Knowing the will of God starts from reading His words. And to avoid being led away by the errors of the wicked is to have increased knowledge about God. God has prepared to us a lot of things for you and He will reveal them to you through the working of His of the Holy Spirit, everything that pertains to life and godliness will be revealed through the knowledge of Him accordingly to His diving power. According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:2 Peter 1:3 KJV Do you know God personally? Grow your knowledge and grow spiritually, soak yourself in the words of God daily. Read the full article

Let patience have her perfect work
Tumblr media
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.James 1:4 KJV The natural reaction to difficulty is to escape from it. However, God utilized difficulty to help His people mature. As Christians, our response to any kind of situation is to ask God's wisdom by default. Instead of complaining about our struggles and trials, we should see them as an opportunity for our growth and become closer to God. Ask God to give you heavenly wisdom on how to overcome your problem or any challenges that you are facing and ask for strength to helo you endure them with patience. Be still, God will never leave you nor forsake, that is His promise. His grace is sufficient for you, thank Him for not living you through rough times. Stay faithful and be steadfast, always abounding in the works of God. Be patient, let patience have her perfect work. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV Read the full article

Jesus died for me and I will not be ashamed

“Christ lives in me and I will not be ashamed to share His words” is the kind of word should a Christian say and live in their daily life. Live for Him in public not in private. Romans 1:16-18 KJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Does it ring a bell? Don't be surprised with sufferings
Tumblr media
Does suffering surprise you? Does it ring a bell? Why do you suffer? If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.1 Peter 4:14-16 KJV Sufferings, pains, and difficulties may be part of God's purpose for your life. Don't be overwhelmed when these situations arise. Worth suffering for God's sake than men's sake. If you suffer for Christ's sake, be happy and be blessed as He is with you all the way. God will send His Holy Spirit to strengthen you. Never be ashamed to suffer for Christ's sake. Don't seek out suffering and don't try to avoid it. Instead, keep doing it for His glory whether it brings suffering or not. Don't be surprised, God has a purpose. Trust His heart, Trust His plan. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV Don't try to do it on your own or to your ability as it may lead you to go astray. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God" really matters | Matthew 6:33
Tumblr media
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 To "seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness" means to put God first in your life, to fill your thought with His desires, to use His character as your life's pattern, and to keep implementing His kingdom values on earth. We normally accomplish whatever we prioritize in our life. Things that are enjoyable, simple, or profitable are usually prioritized in our lives. We generally put tasks that are unpleasant, difficult, or costly last. In Matthew 6:33, but God says clearly what He deems should come first in our lives. Priority is fought for by people, possessions, ambitions, and other desires. If we don't constantly choose to give God first place in every aspect of our lives, any of them might swiftly become the most important to us. Worrying about day-to-day needs depletes us.  But maintaining a good relationship with Him provides us with all of these advantages as a result. Seeking the kingdom of God first in our life will not be difficult if that is our priority and as Christians, we must and that is the most enjoyable and fulfilling thing to do in our daily to-do list. Seeking God first and His righteousness is what really matters. - Prayer first matters (Philippians 4:6, Psalm 55:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:17) - Reading God’s words first matters (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:11, Joshua 1:8) - Choosing God first matters (Matthew 22:37-38, 1 Timothy 2:5, John 14:6) - Obeying God first matters (John 14:15, Matthew 16:24, John 10:27, John 12:26) As Christians, we have to do things that matter first. Our heart is where our treasure is. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.Matthew 6:19-21 KJV Check your heart and ask these things: What is really important to me? What to do after accepting Jesus Christ?
Tumblr media
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.Colossians 2:6-7 KJV After accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, the next thing to do is to follow Him and be an obedient child. If not done yet, be baptized and announce to the world that you are now with Him, this is the first step of obedience. Next is to depart from your old habits and old self as you are now a new creature purged from the bondage of sin. And you are now called "Christian" which means a follower of Christ. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV Now, therefore it is time for you to present your body as a living sacrifice and be transformed by renewing your mind. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Romans 12:1-2 KJV You have begun a relationship that will continue for the rest of your life, up to eternity. The difficult part is to endure what you have started as distractions, temptation, sufferings, and persecutions are expected along the way. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you must submit yourself and below things you need to do next in order to continue what you have started after accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in order not to easily be pulled back or entangled with the lies and comfort of the world.
1. You need to grow in Christ
Continue to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.2 Peter 3:18 KJV God has given you a new life, but don't expect to be different all at once. Just like a new baby is constantly growing and learning, you are going to grow and learn as God continues to work in you. Your ultimate goal as a Christian is to be more like Christ in order to Glorify God the Father. You need to submit to grow, to know more about Christ, to know His will and instructions. As you are following Christ, you need to know Him more. You cannot be a follower be that someone if you don't know that someone. How can you show Jesus in your life if we don't know Jesus? Your testimony, remember that your life is an open book. The more you will be rooted with Christ the stronger your foundation is (Colossians 2:6-7). Just as plants draw nourishment from the soil through their roots, we draw our life-giving strength from Christ. The more we draw our strength from Him, the less we will be fooled or entangled by those who falsely claim to have life’s answers apart from Christ. Desire His words to grow and your appetite must change. Through His words, He will teach you the right path. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:1 Peter 2:2 KJV Submit to grow in Christ.
2. Your love in Christ must grow naturally
Loving God is the first and greatest commandment. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.Matthew 22:37-38 KJV If you truly love God, you will naturally keep His commands. If ye love me, keep my commandments.John 14:15 KJV To be rooted and built on Him (Colossians 2:6-7), your love must grow naturally. Just like the love of a child to their parents, their love for their parents grow naturally because they live together every day, they are together since birth. So to be rooted and built on Him, you must dwell in the world of God daily and seek His presence always. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.Colossians 3:16 KJV We need to keep His words in our hearts. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.Psalm 119:11 KJV Be committed to growing naturally in Christ.
3. You must aim to reach maturity
Spiritual maturity is not about age, it is achieved through becoming more like Jesus Christ. It will not happen overnight as you will experience a lot of challenges, battles, sufferings, and corrections that is why it is important to be rooted and built on Him (Colossians 2:6-7), you need to sharpen your pencil. Spiritual maturity is not just an individual goal but the goal for the entire body of Christ. Spiritual maturity is a goal that all Christians should be striving for as they seek to imitate God and live out Christ’s love. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:Ephesians 4:13-15 KJV Typical reasons why many fail and become backsliders: - No commitment - They don't seek God's presence always - They suffer to endure. Impatiet and easily discouraged - They don't want corrections and they don't want to leave their old habits - They don't seek God as they face their daily battles and many distraction or sufferings - Wrong expectations, they don't understand that it will not happen overnight. - Not reading the word of God, no participation or involvement - God is their last priority Communication is vital to a relationship including your relationship with Christ. It is a two-way process, give and take, therefore we need to participate, submit, commit, and total surrender. It is a lifelong process essential to develop a habit and be rooted (Colossians 2:6-7), with no shortcuts. It is essential to develop a habit of: a. Prayer Praying is your way of communicating with God. By praying you can praise, please, and thank God. You may ask Him to give you guidance and wisdom in all your daily activities and decisions. Asking Him to reveal to you His will and acknowledging Him in any circumstances. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV b. Bible Study It is important for you to have a quiet time with God, to have a daily devotion as God is talking to you through His word. The Bible is the most important thing that a Christian can have, it is a complete package of instructions, corrections, proofs, and guidelines as it is God talking. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.Romans 10:17 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.2 Timothy 2:15 KJV c. Obey After reading, listening, and meditating on the word of God, the most important part is to obey and apply what you have read or heard, or learned. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.James 1:22 KJV If ye love me, keep my commandments.John 14:15 KJV Your faith in God can be manifested through obedience. Not following God's words means you don't believe Him and you are denying the truth. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. A - ADMIT that you are a Sinner
We all have sinned. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 5:17-21 KJV And no matter how you try to be good, you will still fail. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23 KJV You are still unclean. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.Isaiah 64:6 KJV
B - BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ
God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us. And through His blood, our sins washed away. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16 KJV Only by His grace and not by works. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV There is no other way but only through Jesus Christ alone. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6 KJV God commended His love toward us. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8 KJV If we have Jesus Christ living in us, we will live eternally. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.1 John 5:12 KJV In the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.1 Corinthians 5:3-5 KJV By the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.Titus 3:5-7 KJV
C - CONFESS with your mouth
Now that you accepted that you are a sinner and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess with your mouth your sins and that you believe in Him. Let Him come to you and accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9 KJV 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11 KJV Now do the Sinner's Prayer: Holy, thoughtful, gracious, and Heavenly Father, I recognize and acknowledge I am a miscreant not deserving of your grace and I ask forgiveness of my sins. I know your son is the truth the light and the way, I give myself freely to His control and welcome him into my heart. I ask you to walk with me and guide me, teach me your way and your truth. Thank you for the gift of your Son’s sacrifice on the cross that I may live. Thank you for your forgiveness and for accepting me as your child. Amen. Now that you are saved and you have Jesus Christ living in you, you should not stop there. What is next? Follow Him, His words, submit yourself, and don't forget to
D - DEPART from evil
This is not part of the step to secure salvation but it is a way of proving yourself that you are now truly of Christ. Forget your past and follow Him. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Psalms 34:14 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV You may read also: Romans Road To Salvation and How to follow Jesus? https://youtu.be/wRnzay01LTQ Read the full article

God is Faithful and True - Isaiah 25:1
Tumblr media
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.Isaiah 25:1 True faith simply credits the Lord's testimony, and relies on his truth to perform his promises. As God weakens the strong who are proud and secure, so he strengthens the weak that are humble, and stay themselves upon him. God protects his people in all weathers. The Lord shelters those who trust in him from the insolence of oppressors. Their insolence is but the noise of strangers; it is like the heat of the sun scorching in the middle of the day; but where is it when the sun is set? The Lord ever was, and ever will be, the Refuge of distressed believers. Having provided them a shelter, he teaches them to flee unto it. Isaiah honored and praised God because he realized that God completes his plans as promised. God also fulfills his promises to you. Recall all the prayers he has answered, write them down, and praise him for his goodness and faithfulness. Read the full article

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing | Proverbs 10:2
Tumblr media
"Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death." - Proverbs 10:2 Most individuals impose sadness on themselves by chasing quick money and ill-gotten goods. Craving instant satisfaction, for example, might ruin their prospects of ever finding real happiness. God's rules for a righteous living offer enduring satisfaction since they direct us towards long-term spiritually healthy behavior. Proverbs 10:2 is very clear and straightforward that we profit nothing from the treasures of wickedness and that we should choose righteousness, basically God's will over our own will. We may be suffering right now due to our pleasure to satisfy our wants but if we choose to follow God's will to control our lives is the best thing to do as a follower and actually, it is our job to follow God's will. Remember also: The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Proverbs 10:3-4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZwgyJ25HdU Read the full article
