It’s actually crazy to me how companies like HBO are trying to tell me about how there are no revolutions and how fake the media is when they are apart the media.

I wish companies would stop talking about how everyone is performative these days because y’all are apart of the problem. Y’all donate to the BLM organization and think you did something, you just donated to people who don’t care about the well being of the people they are actively using.

Those organizers don’t do anything for the communities that they actively use and don’t give money to. You can’t use the name of a person who was murdered by the police for likes clicks and money while you can’t even pay the families off the streets, it doesn’t make sense. Unless you’re a capitalist in this society.

I feel like we disrespect SoundCloud music so much for no reason, because a lot of music on SoundCloud is actually really good. A lot of people put their music on there because it’s much easier than putting it anywhere else. The only other place small/new artist put their music is YouTube but YouTube has a lot of problems that YouTubers themselves have spoken out about.

A rant about parents

There is so much misogyny colorism and hatred of black teenage girls. The amount of times African families judge their daughters for being interested in something not academic is genuinely annoying. I am speaking from my experience and from others experience when I say a lot of Africans are misogynistic and colorist. Why is your reason for bullying your younger siblings “tough if you up for the real world” that’s like the worst reason for doing that. If I wanted to be tough I would ask people what they think of me, but I don’t so leave me the helm alone. You claim to supposedly be my family and on my side but when I say leave me alone you start yelling for no reason.

Also agreeing with someone that if you dress certain way you will get raped near your child, is so disgusting and vile. Gaslighting your child and being surprised when they don’t talk to you is hilarious because what did you expect? Them to love you the way you didn’t love them? But gaslighting a child because you disagree with what they believe is one of if not the most common form of verbal abuse. It’s one thing to not agree and argue but to go to the point where you are calling them a demon because you think they are wrong is beyond terrible.

Double standards

Why is it that you will praise your son for something your daughter does always? Your son is fully capable to do the same things but is praised as if it is harder for him to do those things. Why is is it that she cannot like (and express) a boy band or even just an artist but you and your son can scream about men kicking a ball into a goal? Why is it bad when your daughter has interests that you aren’t interested in but your son can like anything???

MOTHERS

Some of y’all need to shut the helm up because when everytime someone says they are struggling there y’all are with your three kids you chose to have complaining. Me not having kids (I’m too young) doesn’t mean I have no problems people can have it worse without kids. It is nobody’s fault some of y’all wanted glide and got em blame nobody but yourself. Also a lot of mothers feel entitled to their child’s privacy, nobody is entitled to anyone’s privacy. Just because you are the parent doesn’t mean you should be going thru everything your child does because the more you’d do that the more your child strays away from you and you end up in a retirement home.

Fathers

Leave your daughter alone. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT FEMALE ARTISTS OWNING THIER SEXUALITY BECAUSE YOU HAVE KIDS, GO PARENT YOUR CHILD IF YOU ARE SO WORRIED. I promise you that your ten year old child isn’t the target demographic for sexual songs.

Nobody is listening- ZAYN

This album is so excellent to me.

Every time I listen to this album I feel like I’m in either a coming of age movie or in a romantic comedy and both feel so good. ‘Tightrope’ makes me feel like I’m skateboarding down my childhood street and ‘Outside’ is like going outside at night and walking in the middle of the road with a blanket on.

This album is so beautifully paced also because outside being the third song on the album makes perfect sense to me. This album in my should be listened to in the early morning or evening

Luxury Brands

I feel like we as a society have accepted luxury brands as a good thing when in reality they are a pretty terrible thing.

Unreasonable

There is no reason a white T-shirt from Chanel or Gucci should be anywhere past 10 dollars. A lot of these brands have shoes you could get at Walmart for $20 for hundreds even thousands of dollars and for no real reason other than to make a lot of money off nothing. People are out here bragging about spending hundreds for one single purse they are gonna wear once and then never wear again.

Bad for the environment

A lot of the fabrics being used are very bad for the environment because they’re not being reused they are used maybe once or twice and then they are never used again. That isn’t good because now you have people throwing away or just keeping these useless clothes and or accessories in their million dollar homes.

Weird

Why would you want to get a regular outfit for thousands? Why would you ever need or want that? Nobody needs that. Also these brands aren’t doing anything productive anyway and that’s why their stores always empty. There is no reason for any of the clothes and accessories to be this much money. A thousand dollars for a one pair of shoes when you could spend it on better shoes for less. Also just because the price is high doesn’t mean the quality is high, a lot of luxury clothes aren’t really that good they are just expensive.

I feel like a lot of parents (especially non American) love to break down or cover up anything that would make it seem like your child is going through puberty. Like when a girl is a teen and she’s just wants to wear certain clothes or just interested in more things everyone acts like she can’t be or that she’s only into it because of puberty.
