Luke had an awesome Omaha Nebraska tournament to close out the summer season for his YETI Baseball Club 11U Majors team! He went 6 for 9 with 2 walks and a hit by pitch. Two memorable moments were the 13 pitch at bat that he ultimately was walked and a pick off attempt at 3rd Base were the pitcher hit him in the ribs. The umpire approached Luke after the game to tell him how impressive that 13 pitch at bat was. Telling Luke that he controlled it himself fouling off 7 pitches in a row and he did not leave it up to the umpire to bail him out. After Luke was hit in the ribs he collected himself and gave his teammates the “Fortnite imitation” of wrapping the bandages to restore his health which they all loved! #goldenboylefty #yetibaseball #fortnite (at Council Bluffs, Iowa)

The 11U YETI Baseball Club boys played awesome and finished the season with a strong run to the finals in their last local tournament. The boys just fell short losing 6-8 in the last inning.
