Off The Wall: The Beginning of a Legend

It was in 1979 that Michael Jackson's Off The Wall was released. The American artist delivered his fifth solo project to the world.

A young Michael Jackson takes the cover of Off The Wall . 42 years have passed since the release of his fifth album and we still remember him for that today. Under the wing of Epic Records and produced by the legendary Quincy Jones, the project is the expression of a Michael faithful to his musical origins. From Pop to Soul and R&B , Michael Jackson cloths the music industry in a melodic mosaic that not only puts him on the map, but builds him to be the king of Pop .

Off The Wall is notorious for its hits . “ Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough ”, the first track on the album, is one of the sensations of the project. Through its funky and festive melody , Michael conquers the power of a song that spans generations. Having composed and co-produced it, Jackson hits number one in seven years and sees himself awarded his first Grammy.

“Rock With You”, the second track and another sensational explosion from the album, manages to transport anyone to a peaceful yet groovy environment . In a smooth register and the typical ballad beat, “ Rock With You ” still echoes in radios and playlists all over the world. The music incites a need to go into a record and have only the neon lights to illuminate us.

“ Off The Wall ”, the title track of the album, is (just) one more for Michael's innumerable hit list. No worries, carpe diem . These are the themes that surround the song's lyrics, while a mix of Pop , Soul and Rock melodies play in the background. With this track, Michael became the only artist to have four songs in the top 10 singles from the same album.

On this day February 28, the Grammy award ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles was a Michael Jackson show from start to finish. 

Michael Jackson won 8 Grammys in one night for his album Thriller, including the Album of the year for " Thriller" and the Record of the year for "Beat It". And for the Best Recording for Children for "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial". And was the largest television audience in Grammys history.

The crowd raved about the charm of it all, as Michael was called on stage again and again, earning a record eight golden gramophone figurines. Each time Michael's name was mentioned, or even when his image appeared on the monitors next to the stage, fans in the galleries erupted in a cascade of applause that was more frantic and prolonged than anything ever witnessed at an award ceremony.

I see the media cunning brainwashing is very good, for to this day there are so many stupid human beings, not only do they buy it, but they also believe these lies. Michael's chauffeur and friend Gokor was interviewed by a local Armenian television channel after the memorial in 2009. He told the following story: One day I was taking him to an important meeting. Michael, as he was always looking out the window at people outside and suddenly the traffic light went red. There was a girl on the sidewalk, who played with her ball while her mother was busy talking on the phone, and it was then that the ball rolled out into the street and the girl went after the ball without being able to stop it. The traffic light pointed to green and cars moved towards the child. Michael was watching this whole scene when he suddenly opened the car door and ran out to save the little girl. I didn't have enough time to understand what was really going on and all I could see was a car running towards Michael and the girl. I thought he was going to die. Fortunately, they both managed to cross the street and the mother took her daughter out of harm's way. I was shaking and Michael was even more. He started to cry when he thought about the idea that the car could have run over the girl.

God, this human was too good for this world, He cared so much about the world with the kids, the people and all living things. And I really can’t understand how anyone can say bad things about this wonderful person, and he always brought people together so much. He is definitely a gift from god, And this beautiful song "Heal The World" has such magic power.
