Jewish Boy Scout and Girl Guide troops were first organised in Glasgow, London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Liverpool in the 1920s and 30s.

did a survey at the 2023 youth guiding summit in ottawa, found out that approximately 75-80% of 15-30 year olds in guiding are queer
#not to pathologize bigotry but jesus#who looks at a bunch of empowered youths who mostly identify a given way and thinks it's the majority that are being bullied here#this isn't 2005#move out from under your rock patrick star#there's like 58 genders in me alone#this was going to be a more profanity filled response but as I am not OP and do not know their age or comfort with these things#I did hold back a little#but there is swearing in this url so I kind of already did that#also do not go to the queerphobic person's blog unless to report them#there's a bunch of graphic descriptions of SA and the n word is thrown around#there's nudity too but that's not the issue at hand

Hey, this blog may be an antique but I just want to mention that if you tag us or want us to signal boost anything, it will get seen. This blog may not be active but it's a side blog, and at least speaking for myself, I do still use my main blog. I should still see the notifications.

Just so y'all know, Trail Life is a fucking joke and nobody should donate to them.
-BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA OFFICIAL UNIFORM COLORS-
Cub Scouts - Blue with a lot of bright colors, usually on kids 12 and under.
Webelos and Boy Scouts - Tan and a pale green, on anyone 12 and up.
Venture Scouts - Teal with minimal red text, these usually need money for vacations and stuff, 15 and up, can be any gender.
Sea Scouts - Dark blue and black, kind of like Venture Scouts in that they will need money for trips, not a lot of criteria found on these, look for older kids 15 and up, they’re pretty easy to spot and are usually found in states bordering the sea.
Any group of younger scouts should be accompanied by 1-2 adults, wearing tan and green, of any gender.
Trail Life colors change from time to time but cannot be too similar, right now look for dark red, black, and lighter green.
Trail Life consists of a very small percentage of former Boy Scouts who are “taking a stand” against the ruling that gay kids can get their Eagle and be scout leaders. It is also not a coincidence that you very rarely see anyone but white men in this group. Don’t buy anything from them, don’t even talk to them, they no longer represent any part of Boy Scouts. In my troop, we commonly referred to them as the Westboro Baptist of BSA.

dear tumblr, i lied to all of you. we have girl guides in canada, you uncultured swines. i, myself, was a girl guide at the tender age of seven. but wtf is a “caramel coconut heaven”?????!?!!.
#like I would not at all consider it toothpaste flavoured because it is much too chocolatey and edible#but when another person says it it feels right to echo the language
