You didn’t mean to startle him.

Honestly, you didn’t think anything could startle Lucifer.

He was the Avatar of Pride, after all. The very picture of self-control. Unshakable. Regal. Terrifying, to some. That man could face Diavolo’s unplanned chaos, Mammon’s debts, and The Anti-Lucifer League's pranks all before noon without even blinking.

But apparently… he wasn’t prepared for this.

“Love, can you hand me that quill?”

Silence.

Lucifer—who’d been reviewing a contract across the room—froze. Not visibly, not to most people. But you caught the subtle twitch of his fingers, the way his breath paused just a moment too long.

You glanced up. “What?”

His eyes flicked to you. “What did you just call me?”

You blinked innocently. “Love. The quill?”

He stared at you. Then, without a word, he walked over—slow, deliberate—and handed you the quill.

But the moment it left his fingers, he leaned closer, just enough that you could feel his breath near your ear.

“…Say it again,” he murmured.

You turned your head, confused. “Say what?”

“That name.”

You smiled, amused. “You mean love?”

There it was.

The slight, unmistakable pink at the tips of his ears.

Lucifer cleared his throat and straightened instantly, posture snapping back into place like nothing happened. “Be mindful of how you speak. Such terms… are informal.”

“Hmm.” You tapped the quill against your lip. “So… darling is off the table?”

His eye twitched. “That’s even worse.”

“Honey?”

“No.”

“Baby?”

“Absolutely not.”

You giggled. “Alright, alright. I’ll stick with love, then.”

“I didn’t say that was acceptable either—”

“But your ears turned red when I said it,” you teased.

Lucifer gave you a look that could make lesser demons tremble. “They most certainly did not.”

“They did.”

“…You’re imagining things.”

“Oh, love. You’re adorable when you get flustered.”

His mouth parted like he had a thousand dignified responses ready—and then shut again, lips pressing together in a thin line.

You grinned and reached up, tugging him down by the collar just enough to press a quick kiss to his cheek.

“There. You’ve earned it.”

Lucifer narrowed his eyes. “Have I?”

You tilted your head sweetly. “You did bring me the quill, love.”

This time, the flush crept down his neck.

“You’re playing a dangerous game,” he warned, though his voice had gone lower. Warmer. Almost amused.

You beamed at him. “So you like it.”

He said nothing.

But later, when he passed by your seat and rested a gloved hand on your shoulder, he leaned down and whispered by your ear:

“…Be careful, darling. I may just get used to it.”

And judging by the smirk he wore the rest of the evening, you were certain he already had.

Found this on Instagram and thought of Levi if another woman tries to flirt with him while he's in a relationship with Mc.

Immediately alerted by the situation, he finds himself holding you into a tight embrace when you came to him furiously wiping your tears at the back of your hands.

The moment he saw you, his eyes slightly widened in surprised, but he went to you at such a swift motion, like the world stopped for a second.

No questions asked, he simply holds you as you struggle to steady your breathing and let out your tears, ones that looked like they'd been held in a dam for so long that now that it's flowing, there's not stopping it.

He softly lets out "shh..." as he gently caresses soothing circles on your back, your head against his chest where you can hear the comforting beat of his heart.

As you continue to cry, he slowly takes your hand in his, the other cupping your face as he wipes some tears away before pulling you back into his arms again.

The way he's hugging you as if he's shielding you from the world, letting you know that you're safe with him, that you don't have to say anything yet, that he's here. It's enough. Because he'd rather you cry than be alone. He's ready to drop everything, to destroy whatever has been hurting you, to do what you want... Whether it's to cuddle or go out and buy ice cream or whatever you feel like doing. You can ask him to just sit there in silence with you as he holds you, sniffling as you try to calm down completely.

But right now, most importantly, he just wants to be here for you.

Seriously though, you? Scolding him? A literal prince of another world? A powerful being? But maybe that's why he's not listening to anything you're saying. Not because he thinks it doesn't matter since he's a demon prince and all, but it's because YOU are not afraid to correct him.

Idk who needs to hear this but as someone enjoys, and finds comfort in fiction, if you like to imagine yourself as a character in the game, if your mc looks exactly like you, down to the last minute details, the boys and girls will still love you the same. if you ever feel slightly insecure seeing all the other mcs being flawless characteristics and think to yourself 'damn if i ever went down to devildom they'll be disgusted by me😂🤣' NO TF THEY WOULD NOT!!

Thinking about kissing Solomon after a really rough day that has you reaching your breaking point.

All the frustration builds within you that you just want to have the tears cascade down your cheeks. But you pay Solomon a visit and kind of barge in his room. He looks up from his desk and finds you walking towards him.

He was about to ask what's up until he feels this frustration mixed with sadness(?) swirling within you, so he just shuts up when you grab him by the collar and slam your lips against his.

Your heart beats rapidly, unknown to you if it's because of the intimate moment or because of how overwhelmed you feel.

His hands find their way to your waist while you keep him still as he sits down the chair of his desk. Slowly, one hand of yours roam around his chest, the other gripping his upper arm a little too firmly.

Solomon presses you closer to him, trying to close the distance between the two of you. You pour all your pent-up exasperation into the aggressive kiss, and for some reason, Solomon manages to calm you down.

You pull away, and he envelopes you into this warm embrace that makes you want to allow your tears to stream, depending on how stressful that particular day was.

For a while, you two of you find comfort in the silence, seeking warmth from each other's body.
