Day 100: ME!
Lol just hashtagged this Adele, hope no one was looking for rolling in the deep image lyrics on Tumblr.
I recognize the cheesiness in this ending but hey, let's be real, you have to make yourself happy.
Here is a glimpse of ME: cluttered room (I prefer "cluttered over "dirty"), my family of Boos and my Boo calendar (not even on a month, kind of how I feel about my life sometimes HA, I don't know why it's not on a month), my bed is made though!, my nike women's half marathon poster, trying on new clothes I bought online because I was too lazy to go try them on in person.
I'm debating making this a 365happydays blog, but allowing myself to repeat topics (I don't think I repeated anything...)聽 It would probably honestly be:
Soondubu
Shabu House
Sunshine
Outdoors
Fun Activities with Friends
Soondubu
Kalbi
x 200.
And that's. totally. fine.

Day 99: The Great Outdoors.
99 BLOGS AND A something something - ain't one?!
Holy cow!聽 I'm on day 99.聽 What an interesting journey it has been, I'm kind of not ready for it to end.聽 AXZ's infinite happy days? Although that kind of sounds like a foolishly optimistic AIM screen name from 1995, I am glad that this project has helped me look for the joy in little things.聽 It has come at an interesting time in my life too, a time when there is finally space for some serious self reflection, parents moving to DC, letting go of my dog, and finally being ready for some more life changes (intentionally vague until things are more set in stone).聽 This blog has helped me realize that I can find 100 things to be happy about (well, 99 as of now), and more importantly there are way more than 100 things! #Cliche Also, that my life is primarily about food. I ain't got a problem with that though.
Today I enjoyed a hike around the Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, which actually, I've never heard about before.聽 While we didn't really go on one trail (more like 3-4 trails in small, lost loops), it was great to get outdoors, use the Camelpak at a non-festival setting, and catch up with my college friend, a kindred spirit of mine.聽
Then we got AYCE KBBQ by Lake Merrit, which might have dehydrated me somewhat, but whatever, worth it.
Choose your poison:
with ONE post left, what will it be???
So much pressure!

Day 98: Relaxing Weekends (and Cool Snapchat Filters).
We have quite a few busy weekends (and weeks!) coming up (Chicago, Bey & Jay On the Run Tour, and Outside Lands) so decided this weekend to take it easy.聽 Saturday we went (walked!) to Saigon Sandwich for probably the 18th time this year (no joke), Bi-Rite, and played around with cool snapchat filters.聽 At night we watched Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which I wouldn't include in this blog if I didn't think it was actually pretty good (I've never seen the James Franco one).

Day 97: Flashback Fridays.
I was feeling especially nostalgic on Friday - so attempted to make a Vegas With Coworkers collage but got sidetracked, and never uploaded for #fbf. Oh well, here it is!

Day 96: Creative Art.
Since San Francisco was one of my first posts, I'll also reference it in one of my last (or will it be?聽 This is actually kind of fun).
Today I enjoyed amazing weather, homecooked dinner with a friend, and watched The Sandlot for the first time (I know, I'm killing you, smalls!).聽 Sometimes I have to remind myself and appreciate that I'm living in a glorious city, employed, and surrounded by good people. 聽I'm sure whatever the next chapter brings will be exciting too.

Day 95: The Kardashians.
I am sorry this is just too funny.
I didn't necessarily want The Kardashians to be their own blog post, I know there are plenty of haters, but it's been a mellow few days and WHATEVA, I be proud of the family I love and loathe.聽 I watch them as a guilty pleasure to take my mind off things & just watch some good ole trash.聽 But I love Kourt, Khlo, and Scott.聽 Too good.

Day 94: Kleen Kanteen Insulated.
I really swear by this thing.聽 It keeps my drinks cold when I want 'em cold, hot when I want them hot.聽 Best birthday gift I ever asked for!! Haha.
On some days you just need to relax, breathe, drink water, remember the good things.聽 Thanks Kleen Kanteen for helping me accomplish some of these things.

Day 92: Homecooked Meals.
Above is our Asian themed friends dinner...NOM NOM NOM (appropriate use of NOM).聽 Friends had us over and made miso soup, Korean chirashi bowls with a SOFT BOILED EGG (see second picture for the yogurt looking substance), dumplings (frozen ones from SAFEWAY SELECT - actually delicious, who would have thought?), spam musubi, and oysters.
I love Saturday nights in where you share good food, laughter, and stories.聽 Apparently there are over 100 ways to make eggs, and although Ryan had a terrible experience trying to finish the Orochon Ramen Challenge in LA, he says he would still do it again just for pride.

Day 91: Sorority College Reunions.
See here is my beautiful sororo family.聽 Some of the pictured above are both my littles, two grandlittles, and one great grand little.聽 We got 3.5 boxes of Cheeseboard and sat at a nearby park reminiscing on the good ole college days: running to each others rooms at the house to update on the latest guy story, dressing up for invites, and how traditions have evolved from 7 years ago to today.
I'm very fond of my sorority experience at Cal although I carefully choose not to flaunt it.聽 I met women who are still my role models and good friends to this day, and that is what made the 4 years worth it.聽 There are still many negative stereotypes and petty issues surrounding Greek communities as a whole, and it feels good to separate yourself from that after graduation.

Day 90: Brother in the City.
Littlest Zhang has moved into San Francisco!聽 After a temporary stay at Ryan's, Jimmy signed his first lease on Thursday.聽 Congrats little brotha.聽 Can't wait til you can support my lavish lifestyle.聽 Pictured above is some of the sushi we got at a restaurant in the mission - but actually this is posted with heavy regrets because we should have just gotten In N Out.

Found this hidden gem in a bar called Jay N Bee's Club. Ha. $22 for one huge pizza and 2 beers.

Day 88: Transitions.
This is bittersweet because it's my childhood home getting packed up.聽 We're nowhere near done but I hope I was able to help my parents this weekend alleviate some of the inevitable moving stress.聽 We uncovered a lot of old memories via photos, books, and toys, and had to make decisions on what to keep in the interest of space.聽 Farewell for now Pacific Shores Way, see you in two years!!

Day 86: The Beach.
I was able to take a break from helping my parents pack and store (aka throw massive amounts of pack rat stuff away) and hit the beach with some ole college sistas.聽 I love the beach because it always puts things in perspective for me. I don't think I could ever live too far off a coast - I would feel too trapped.聽 San Diego is da best.

Day 85: Coming Home.
I was ticked because I didn't sit on the right side of the airplane...the lady on the other aisle was snapping a ridiculous amount of pictures of the Coronado Bridge as we were about 100 feet away from it. Anyway, "home" is going to be redefined soon... my parents are in the midst of packing our home and putting it into storage for their move to DC. Mixed feelings, but overall excited for east coast adventures in the next two years.

Day 84: Google Calendar.
Hope this isn't TMI - I love keep tracking of my life on Google Calendar. Life is better when you plan ahead (not all the time in an aggressive manner, of course). :)
