𝓼𝙝𝙞𝖋𝙩𝙞n𝙜 𝙚x𝙚𝙧𝙘i𝙨𝙚

PROFESSORS DR !

this post is inspired by this shifting exercise by zaddizu !! it’s my first one + i am excited to work on it — i will be answering the questions based around my professors dr ( but i may do more depending how it goes ! ) it may be a longer post , even if i missed out some of the questions . . . so I apologise for the yap that you are about to read <3

♯ what is your name ? — my name is jaimie otto rayn sallow. I take my mothers name until she dies + then i take my brothers + become a rosier ! my mother chose my second middle name ( rayn ) , whereas i took my fathers first middle name ( otto ) !

♯ what is your favourite food ? at hogwarts we are never short of food , either the house elves make it for dinners or we as teachers are allowed into the kitchen to make our own food! one of my favourite dishes to eat are tacos ! the house elves make them in a very special way + they are the most delicious food ever ! i love them so much , and they always are popular when they are served !

♯ you can only choose one movie to watch for the rest of your life, what would you choose? in this reality , films are not seen as a common thing due to the lack of electricity but every so often, someone brings a old fashioned projector down and several of us create a place in the great hall where we are able to watch movies with each other. evan normally comes along for these and we are in the process of introducing the rest of the school to the ‘lord of the rings’ movies ! ( they are going down a right treat ) but mostly there is no technology here !

♯ what is your birthday? my birthday is the same as cr , it’s 9th may + i was born in 1962, in a town in south of france, cannes where i grew up with my older brother , evan until i was 7 and my mother fled france with me - as she was escaping my father.

♯ what is a song you will always have a place for in your heart ? due to the lack of technology in the castle, there is a lack of music. we have previously managed to charm some old record players to play music, no matter where we are ! in the staff quarters, we are normally found to be listening to ‘david bowie’ or ‘queen’ and some of our favourite songs are - space oddity or heroes.

♯ favourite colour, go! i love the colour green & also shades of grey as well ! i own a lot of items in similar colours to them.

♯ name the most important thing to you. apart from the love of my life ( slow burn + a looong backstory ), probably my house, where my brother and his two boyfriends currently live, with me when im not at hogwarts. the house used to belong to my mother + it’s the last link i have with her, its such a lovely house and im working to renovate it slightly when i have the time.

♯ favourite memory? first time i turned into my animagus. it will forever be my favourite memory and now i love the way I have so much freedom to just explore the castle and the castle grounds however and whenever i chose. becoming a animagus has definitely given me many more possibilities in the castle !

♯ least favourite memory? when i came back to the uk + saw severus in hospital after the battle, as he did not remember me at all. that is the worst. but also the memory of having our first argument about him not being in contact with me, only to discover that dumbledore hid all my letters to him in order to manipulate him more.

♯ someone you dislike? dumbledore.

♯ in a crowded room, who would you look for first? i would always look for severus first, no matter what room i walk into. no matter what situation or occasion. it would always be him.

♯ picture your room, is it organised or messy? my bedroom, before he moves into my room, will always be messy - i am really bad at keeping my space tidy ( i will try my hardest but it will just be a mess ) however when we move in together , it will nearly always be tidy and organised , as that is the bonus with living with a neat freak. the rest of our studio is tidy despite, we have four people living in a kinda small space !

♯ whats your aesthetic? i live for the old fashioned aesthetic + i wear a lot of beige when i get the choice ! i like simplistic stuff and being outdoors , so like greens too etc !

♯ who in your dr would you not be surprised if they came out as a shifter? hmm i know for a fact that my best friend in my dr, is a shifter as im scripting them into all my drs ( hehe ) but aside from that - i would probably say luna or hermione !

♯ what’s your hogwarts house ? the hat was tied between slytherin + hufflepuff , but ultimately it placed me in hufflepuff. i have to say that i feel it was the right choice !

♯ ambivert, introvert, or extravert ? i would say that i am definitely a ambivert , leaning more towards the introvert. i am sometimes outgoing around my friends , but the moment i am away from them or in a unknown situation, i clam up like a shell and i do not talk !

♯ best school subject? it would be herbology or potions, after i got the extra help that i needed. i find both subjects so very interesting + i love the theoretical side of both of them !

♯ where can someone find you when youre sad? i can either be found in my room hiding or in the solarium — once again hiding but in a beautiful place instead of my room ( i love the solarium in hogwarts , it’s so so very beautiful )

♯ who was your first love? do you regret it? this question is hard as it was technically severus ( he did his potions mastery when i was in my final two years of hogwarts ) but i left the uk before anything concrete happened and it was just feelings - my first ‘relationship’ was with regulus, but it failed as i was in love with sev and he was in love with my brother. so i don’t regret either of them — regulus and i are now best friends in this dr and i love him.

♯ what’s your blood status? i am a halfblood wizard, my mum was a muggle + fathers a wizard. i only talk to evan out of my family members now and i love him to pieces.

♯ in time of need, would you ever use a unforgivable curse? no, i have seen the destruction that they cause and no, i would never use one. i think the only way i would is if my family was in danger , but i think id prefer to try and find another way instead of using curses like that.

the aes + a brief look at : my professors dr !

- when we are not teaching or dealing with the students , we pretty much get free choice to do whatever we want ( as long as we are back to teach our scheduled lessons ) !!

- i spend a lot of time exploring + watching the sky from the astronomy tower as i find it so very beautiful. there’s huge telescopes up there , but there’s also a lack of light pollution as well so the stars are very clear.

- i love the freedom in the castle, i spend a lot of time near the university quarters - with our staff studio being located very close to the uni students. it feels very open and safe indeed.

Hiii just wanted to say I love that you chose to be a screenwriter in your fame dr versus the usually acting or singing. I think that’s so cool! How did you come about that? Any favorite films you’ve scripted in your dr?

hi :3 im so glad you love it !! ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა it is one of my favourite drs + i love that i am getting to yap about it !!

i chose to be a scriptwriter , instead of a actor or any other profession ( thinking of setting up a acting one maybe ) as i love the behind scenes of films + learning how they direct certain scenes and involve aspects to make the movie more realistic. in this reality i also have a degree in film studies , so that also majorly influenced this dr ! I just love the idea of sitting down and editing / writing scripts + then seeing your work on stage or on a cinema screen !

favourite films i have scripted in ! — due to the year being earlier than most of my favourite films , I have brought the date forward on some of them ! such as what happened to monday, a man called otto, passengers, barbie ( my friend in this dr acts in it ) divergent, the guillmero del toro version of pinocchio + the hunger games ! i direct a few of them , but some i just wanted to see while im in that dr with my friends + my husband !

[ extra ] films i am excited to watch in cinema for the first time — as a absolute huge film nerd , im so excited to watch some of my favourite films in cinemas that i missed the release of in this reality !! some of them are : the harry potter series , hunger games + divergent + all the marvel movies — feel that i will also need to go and watch star wars in the cinema because imagine the vibe ?? wow , it would be insane to see them in the cinema !

(main) — j otto rayn rosier is the newest teacher at hogwarts after the war ! they are a magizoologist with a mastery in herbology — teaching herbology in the castle, both to the younger students & in the university. they live in the castle + spend a lot of time walking around when they’re not teaching. ( s/o : severus snape - slowburn ! )

ꨄ 2008 SCREENWRITER / FAME DR. — ezekiel rickman is a up and coming screenwriter + freelance film editor in the industry. they have had a lot of experience in the movie industry & have helped to write the scripts of several popular films such as twilight & spiderwick chronicles ! their name is well known in the industry , both for their achievements but also for their husbands as well. ( s/o : alan rickman - married ! )

ꨄ 2025 SMALL TOWN DR. (main) — kasper jaimie samson works in a small bookshop, with a older couple working to maintain & run the store for them ! they deal with the freelance social media side of the store as well as the selling of books. in their spare time, they like to explore the village with their best friends partner - leonora, in their fox forms. there is a lot of freedom here. ( s/o : severus snape - married now ! )

ꨄ 2008 CRIMINAL MINDS DR. — j otto carter is the youngest fbi analytical technician that works in the bau unit , with penelope garcia. they are working to be a field agent , but mostly stay in office at this time. they transferred from new york -> quantico at the request of erin strauss. the bau is very different to the new york unit . . . ( s/o : aaron hotchner, spencer reid - oblivious lovers )

ꨄ 1990'S MODERN MARAUDERS DR. — j otto rosier works part time in the village bookshop, with remus, often volunteering there after hours as well. they help to sell books, but are also in charge of social media for the store - where remus just sells the books. when they are not working, they spend time exploring the village together with their boyfriends. ( s/o : james potter, remus lupin, sirius black - found family )
