a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.

I think most people know about this but for those who don't S. E. Hinton wrote fanfics ab the outsiders AND Supernatural. My fav that she wrote was ab the first Curtis Christmas w/O their parents. But it confuses me cuz the book took place in early May and their parents died 8 months prior. So they alr had the first Christmas. (It's post cannon). Idk but it's rlly sad.
