writetober: like inktober, but for writers

Are you a writer who loves procrastinating? Have you wanted to participate in inktober but haven’t had the time or can’t draw? Then writetober might be right for you!

So what’s writetober?

Writetober is a month-long event with weekly events for those who are prepping for #NaNoWriMo (or #FinishUrBookFall for those on Twitter) who want to procrastinate stretch their artistic muscles while prepping for November!

How does it work?

Each Saturday will have a new vague theme for you to stretch your imagination. A weekly prompt will hopefully give you time to think, create, and post your artwork.

These pieces of artwork can be anything your heart desires! Want to draw something? Go ahead! Want to put together a collage? Be my guest! Want to create an interpretive dance? I appreciate the enthusiasm, and you have far more capabilities than me, so please be my guest!

“No I’m not the queen but I have a life, we just met you’re not my top priority.”  I laughed.

“Fair point, that time will do. I will leave you a note with the address on where to meet me, do not worry it will be in your quaint little town.”

“Oh how thoughtful of you babe, thanks.” I hung up the phone quick when I thought I heard footsteps outside my door.

End of Day Message: I got two different scenes done. One of them is actually for the middle of the story, I’ve never done that before lol <3

For the fourth time, tumblr has deleted my addition to a post. Not the whole part, just the part that means the most to me on a post that means everything to me.

Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome has taken a great deal from me despite few of the symptoms effecting my day to day life. I have no excessive hair growth, no struggle with weight, no cardiac problems. I am lucky even with the struggles I face with the symptoms I do have.

What I have been trying to say all day on this post (which tumblr kept deleting my response to) is that should my symptoms ever cause me to want to get my tubes tied I should never – NEVER – have to have that decision be made by a man.

Women are not the commodities of men. Women are not baby making machines designed to reproduce at the whim of a man. My choices should never be made by a man I have never met. My choices should never be made by a man I have met. I am a woman. I am human. I should have control over my own body. Women are not the commodities of men.
