After Weisshaupt my poor Gale had a drastic change of behavior and look, he cared less to shave his beard and his hair too, a new scar to show the pain of the fighting too, he got angrier and much more angsty, he and Lucanis grew much more closer after this, each of them with a new demon to fight, regret and pain for Rook, for not being able to save everyone, and shame for Lucanis for missing the target.
But crows never fail their contracts, this was just a small hiccup , it is only a matter of time before The Demon and The Crow are going to strike back.

New run, new Rook.
Here is Gale De Riva, Antivan but born in Ferelden and raised there till 8 years old(in this way I can explain his " lack" of the language flair his cousin Viago have), warrior specialized in sword and shield and trained by none other than Alistair himself, he decided to go to Treviso and through trial he became a crow and decided to remain in Antiva, specifically Treviso to help his fellow crow and family against the Antaam, naturally he heard stories about the demon of Vyrantium, he saw him walking around The Cantori Diamond or in the market, and now they work together, in close quarters, so close that he can smell the murder and the fade on his skin.

I will never get over how weird it feels to have tragic and emotional chapters of your life where you just also still go to work, and the grocery store, and see funny videos online all while feeling such paralyzing fear and heartache
life just goes on no matter what

I love him so much 🥲
Bonus:

“I thought I’d never see you again…”
“Just don’t leave…”
“Never.”
“You need to sleep sometimes.”
“With you here, like this, I’d rather stay awake.”
“However shall we pass the time?”
“Would you talk to me? Your voice is a comfort.”
“I’ll tell you the tale of a charming rogue who stole the heart of a hapless hero.”
“Not even Gods can keep me from you.”
“They cannot even try.”

Atlas "Rook" Thorne, Rogue Grey Warden, funny, pungent, takes no crap and unapologetically gay.
Might give him a makeover after Weisshaupt, giving him shorter hair and shorter beard to reflect his growing up and maturity in front of what is happening

Well of sorrow aside, I played DA2 first without even seeing DA:O and didn’t even miss a thing, then when I played origins a d imported my choices it was just a different flavor of the game but nothing so huge that made me scream "I missed so much aaaaa" so I might be a bit upset for the lack of past choices but in reality I don't care THAT much to not buy the game or change my opinion of it
I want everyone who is upset about the world state choices to stop and think for a moment. Go back to DA2 and think not many of your wardens choices had much effect on DA2. You might see some excompanions here and there but not much else really impacted the story.
Then in inquisition hawke shows up and you get varric aa a companion, but the only choice that really matters from DA2 is if hawke sided with mages or templars and if anders lived or died. Even then it doesn't change the fact hawke fled kirkwall at the end and has no real effect on the story of inquisition.
I get being upset about no well of sorrows choice and no Kieran. But think, if thedas is basically a war zone, do you really think morrigan would bring her son all over the place. She'd leave him in a place she kniws he'll be safe. Plus she's not just going to talk about him to people she barely knows. He is her greatest weakness and she's not going to just talk about him to talk about him.
Now the well of sorrows. This one I agree I don't understand not being added as a choice. However let's play the game and see if an explanation is given before getting unnecessarily angry.

Give my lady the proper respect
Probably a controversial take but why tf do people keep calling Vivienne a noble. She's not.
She's Bastien's *mistress* not his wife.
She's a Circle mage. There is a ban on mages holding political power and what power she has she gained through hard work and cunning.
Her parents were Rivaini commoners and she was born poor in Wycome in the Free Marches.
Originally the position of court mage was little more than a court jester. Vivienne turned it into one of respect. She survived multiple assassination attempts and half of those bards she sent back frozen solid and the other half she *recruited.*
Officially her only titles are First Enchanter and (conditionally) Grand Enchanter or Divine. Madame de Fer is implied to be originally an insult that Vivienne claimed and turned into a mark of respect.

I feel like I've been saying this for years already but god it is so wild seeing the revisionist history surrounding Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Like I get it, it was a whole decade ago, but you can't just throw around bold claims that it was a flop or a failure and expect no one who was actually there to see it.
It was BioWare's most successful game launch of all time, recieved acclaim from critics, did well enough to get a year of post-release expansions, and was the first ever 'Game of the Year' winner at The Game Awards - you know, the exact same award you were all so excited Baldur's Gate 3 won???
I understand there'll always be people still mourning the loss of Origins' style 15 years later but come on.
