You cannot go back. You can kick, and claw, and cry, but at the end of the day you cannot go back. Even if you could, there’s nothing for you there anymore. No good that has ever come from beating yourself up about who you used to be because you are no longer that person. You have grown, and changed, for better or worse, and that change can’t help who you were on the people you hurt. It can only help you and the people who are with you now, and only if you let it. It really sucks to look back and know you could’ve helped more, or been kinder, but it doesn’t suck to know that you can do and be those things now. Be those things now. You owe it to yourself (and to the past you are so afraid of accepting as a part of you).

@ everyone who went through a period of having no friends, who ate alone, who had a point in their life where they were too embarrassed to tell their parents they had no one to play with after school: I love you. I know it hurts and I know it’s hard but it’s not your fault. Things will grow and change. You will find people who you click with and they will love you too.
