i am HAUNTED by the question of whether merlin returned to camelot after the battle of camlann. not only for gaius’ sake but also for gwen. leon has the knights (i guess?), but we never get a sense that gwen has friends outside of a bunch of dead men. what if she got the biggest plot of twist of her life, learning about merlin’s magic from gaius, only to never see that glorious little twink again, what if-

plsss y’all know what would’ve been hysterical? if merlin told hunith about balinor offscreen to give her closure. and hunith assumed arthur knows because he was also right there. and at some point arthur is bearing his soul to hunith (in my mental fanfiction they bond, leave me alone) telling her about the time he was able to see his mother’s spirit for mere minutes with morgause’s spell. and hunith is like you were there for my boy when he met his father only to lose him immediately. confide in him, I am sure he is hoping you will :)
