Just a Sheikah OC of mine.
I don’t know a name for him yet, but get this, he actually lives in the downfall timeline during the events of Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link.
(I may add that he is one of Link’s childhood friends)

Oh yeah I think I'm gonna put mid/link and tp zel/ink on my DNI
Link is 17 which is a whole ass child and zelda is 24 even if they waited til he was an adult that's still grooming and as a survivor I really don't care if y'all want to say it's fine bc historically it happened I just don't want 2 interact w that not every Zelda and link have to get together yk some can just be friends
And Midna has no canon age in the game (idk abt the comics but I rlly don't care) but she's very clearly an adult at LEAST on par with Zelda but I've always interpreted her as being hundreds of years old like she's not human y'all why would she age like a human. So she would clearly only see a teenage human as a BABY. And with the way she treats link in the game itself that's very apparent...y'all just wanna make everything about romance and I'm not here for it.
Anyway idc if you're neutral on this stuff it just makes me uncomfy to interact w ppl who ship it so pls respect that

I read a fanfic recently that suggested that TP link has sensory overloads and as an aspie who’s Been There, and is already projecting a lot on this boy, it was only a matter of time until I drew something.
(Please do not tag as “baby”)

Legend of Zelda just hits different when you're ND and nts will never feel the pure feral energies that it embodies and that's that on that actual
#legend of zelda#the legend of zelda#loz#like as an autism seeing a nonverbal child screech and smash things unapologetically and still be the hero of the story without question#is so goddamn freeing#like damn i wish I were toon link#and all the other games have things that make me !!!!!!!!! too#so like sorry nts but this ones ours#u can like it but u will never Understand#it's like how allo cishets will never truly resonate with abbas dancing queen

This is more of a personal preference than an actual gripe but honestly I really don't get all the interpretations of midna being this deeply flawed character who has this dradtic change of heart bc she was never that bad to begin with?
It makes sense for her to put the well being of her own people over hylians, that's like literally her responsibility as queen. And idk even from the beginning of the game I never got the sense that she was selfish? Yes she's technically using Link for her goals but she made it very clear what that entailed from the start and gave him a choice multiple times. She was still checking in on Zelda and she certainly didn't mind the 2 billion side quests that Link went on during their adventures. She was already a good companion by the time they really set out on their adventure.
Yes, she lacks empathy but that isn't an indication of discompassion or a negative trait. Idk just as a disabled and ND person Midna really is an empowering character for me BECAUSE she's unapologetic and bastardly and overconfident which I also think is why I dislike it also when (admittedly canon does this too) people talk abt how much she hates her imp form bc its not her conventionally attractive able bodied true form where she also suddenly has lost all of her zeel and personality and become more like the other characters rather than all the lively and unique traits that set her apart.
Like idk I'm kind of just. Her character arc isn't that satisfying as this like big growth thing when it mostly was just subtle messages of disability and nd traits bad and especially with the sad ambiguous ending where she suddenly thinks that their world's can't mix bc it just. Has undertones that I can't really put my finger on but as a nd person just don't sit right with me at all honestly

Honestly though half of y'all are just blatantly ableist. You either erase links being nonverbal in the games or use it for angst. I'm sick of it. Stop that. Just let him simply be.
