A very special fuck you to every type of person who helped songs like "Pink Pony Club" get popular, a song about a literal gay club done by a queer woman, while at the very same time doing absolutely fucking NOTHING to help or support the gay and trans community while our rights and safety and whatever peace-of-mind we had to begin with is ripped to shreds in front of our very eyes. Queer culture is not something you can consume and appropriate IF WE'RE ALL DEAD AND YOU HAVE NO FLESH LEFT FOR EVEN THE CARRION CROWS TO PICK!

For me, it isn't about whether this action is appropriate or not. It's about how this kind of action is inevitable.

I'm going to let Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. explain in a quote no one seems to post during his annual holiday.

"It is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear?"

If you only speak up about a supercharger catching fire and ignore the unheard, you are prioritizing a thing over people.

This "vaccines cause autism" bullshit needs to stop. Anyone with a basic understanding of ASD knows that Autism is a congenital trait. Apparently this in itself is an incomprehensible concept, so I'll put it in plain words: AUTISM IS SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE BORN WITH, NOT POSSIBLE OF BEING DEVELOPED AFTER BIRTH LATER IN LIFE. Because it is congenital, that means that it is INHERENTLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DEVELOP AUTISM AFTER RECEIVING A CHILDHOOD VACCINE.

Higher diagnosis rates are a natural and necessary consequence of the increasing understanding of conditions and higher quality healthcare systems that have the ability to identify and care for those differences.

The better conditions are understood, the faster symptoms are noticed. The faster symptoms are noticed, the faster people get diagnosed. The faster people get diagnosed, more people are diagnosed. It doesn't get much simpler than this.
