I may have another photographer in the family! This gorgeous shot of my 14 year old daughter was taken by my 11 year old son at Rainbow Beach in Frederiksted, VI. She was NOT posing. He was snapping the wind blowing her hair in her face and this just happened to be caught, so I had to play with it, since that is what I do. Haha. She was making herself a mermaid tail in the sand. Gorgeous model, awesome photographer. Yes, I’m biased but they really are amazing, wonderful, talented children. I‘m a very lucky momma. Don’t be scared by this frightening image of me. I made a goal to walk my dog and the family decided to join me. This may not seem like a big deal, but this is the first dedicated exercise (other than rehab for my shoulder injury) that I have done in years! My illness was such that I couldn’t exercise and breathe at the same time. Today, I walked just shy of a mile and even ran for a short distance, so my dog could run. Look at my face compared to my daughter’s! Hahahahaha! I look like I just got back from a 13 mile hike in 114 degree weather. Yeah. Not even a mile! *smh* Gonna have to get back with it. It felt so good though! 😀😃😄😁😆😅 #babysteps #backtowalking #recoverymoment

My pretty girls graduated yesterday! My daughter, Callista, was surprised with the “Best Actress” award for her school. She gave a Tony worthy “acceptance speech.” It was so adorable. She also tied for Salutatorian with another girl. They flipped a coin for who would do the graduation speech and the other girl got it. I don’t think Callista was too disappointed. Hahaha. You may remember the cute turtle left at our door, she found her #ForeverHome 🏠 this week. My daughter knows a great family who loves turtles and has a good past history as a loving turtle home. They named this sweetie Delilah, and she seems so happy to be in her new habitat. She was a #perfectpet while she was with us, but we weren’t able to keep her due to extenuating circumstances. I think she got the best deal in the end, though! ❤️🐢 #turtlelove
