Oh Goodness! (TW: Mentions of Suicide, Death)

I got a lot more comments than i thought that i would in a day, so i decided to share the AU 

This AU is for Ghost And Pals. It is a collaboration between @shoeboxsharon and I, and it is called Happy Pills. (When im too lazy to type all of that i just use HPAU phh)

The AU isn’t specific, like, some AUs are like “AU where so and so does this” and AU where everyone’s in space or something. But this AU is different, since there’s a LOT of changes to it.

First off, everything takes place in a modern time, and all the characters live in the same time. So, for example, there’s a good chance that Kennith Simmons could see Nancy Elsner walking down the street one day, because it all takes place in the same year. Second, no one dies. The characters aren’t immortal, but a lot of the stories (especially in Communications) ends with a person, or many people, committing suicide, or being murdered. In this AU, these events don’t take place (The only exception being Norman’s mother.) , and the characters with significant issues get help. (Such as therapy, medication, etc.) Third, this AU is inclusive to pretty much all the characters. The only reason a character wouldn’t be included would be because I and Shoebox don’t know much about the character just yet. This AU is also inclusive to OCs. (I have an OC named Briar. Sweetest babie, i love them so much.)

There are also MANY changes made to characters- Some of them are relevant, and some are just random headcanons. There’s a lot more- i guess- representation especially when it comes to people with disabilities, neurodivergencies, etc. Examples: (?) Greg Hoffman is deaf, like stephanie. Unlike Stephanie, the hearing loss isn’t total and he wears hearing aids. Christopher (The Distortionist) isn’t manipulative anymore, and his twisted spine resulted in the inability to walk, so he has a wheelchair. There’s also personality changes in characters, especially Trash Dentist and Tooth Hurty. (Oh boy lmao) 

So, that (almost) pretty much sums it up! People get help and they’re (for the most part) happy. If you’d like to know more, you should comment a character you’d like to hear the AU headcanons for! :D
