The Berlesque community it the most inclusive community I have ever met. I was watching a show and a group came out that was entirely plus size women (looked just let me!) And the crowd went WILD! They got the most cheering and praise out of all the groups that preformed.
On top of being inclusive to fat people and saying fat is still beautiful, they also have 2SLGBTQIA+ rep, and people of all different ages! One woman was a grandma!
They even talk about consent before each show, saying that a dancer will not touch you if you say no and all that. This made me feel so much better as someone that doesn't like touch.
All in all, the most welcoming community I've ever been in.
It does not surprise me that the art of a burlesque dancer is so lovingly painted, rolls and all.

How dare you make me choose between bats 🦇and animals like capybaras, guinea pigs, and chinchillas! (I picked rodents because I work with chinchillas)🐰 but I do love bats so much that I would actually get the very painful rabies vaccine to be able to work with them. ♥️
Taxonomy Tournament: Mammals

Rodents. This order is characterised by having a single pair of continuously-growing incisors. 40% of mammal species are rodents. Examples include rats, mice, beavers, capybaras, squirrels, and chipmunks.

Do You Love the Color of the Sun?
Get dazzled by the true spectrum of solar beauty. From fiery reds to cool blues, explore the vibrant hues of the Sun in a mesmerizing color order. The images used to make this gradient come from our Solar Dynamics Observatory. Taken in a variety of wavelengths, they give scientists a wealth of data about the Sun. Don't miss the total solar eclipse crossing North America on April 8, 2024. (It's the last one for 20 years!) Set a reminder to watch with us.

I still think that my favorite urban legend/folklore fact is that there are certain areas in New Orleans where you cannot get a taxi late at night not because it isn’t safe, but because taxi companies have had recurring problems of picking up ghosts in those areas who are not aware that they are dead and disappearing from the cab before reaching the destination and therefore stiffing the driver on the fare causing a loss for the company.
