Yes, she did just have to let the little Misdreavus out of a trash can it got stuck in while trying to startle her neighbors. And now Spook's still playing with a shiny candy wrapper it found.

"Just wait until Spook figures out even cooler tricks! They're going to be the most adorable little menace, haha!"

🎡'WHEEL' - for Rui @auraviewer

There are so many goodies on the wheel, most of them food-related, but a lot that have trainer necessities like potions, pokeballs, and badge cases. The grand prize seems to be an 'Elite Trainer Kit' that has everything you'd expect a starting trainer to want!

You spin the wheel and-

"That's our third Grand Prize for the day! How lucky! That means there's only two left today!"

You are handed over a Halloween-themed Decorative Badge Case to hold eight gym badges, sporty fingerless gloves, five pokeballs, three great balls, and one ultra ball, a set of five potions, and one of every status condition aid. "Welcome, welcome."

Matsuba waves to get attention and smiles when Rui comes over. He hums a moment before turning pluck one of the Dusk Balls from the container.

It's held out for her to click open - and they're both in for a fright when she does and the Pokemon inside comes out with a shriek!

The Misdreavus spins itself in delighted circles, giggling to itself before tugging lightly and playfully on Rui's hair.

✩ "I think it just took a shining to me for some reason," Rui says, smiling as she takes a couple bracelets off. "Here! I'll give you some of mine if you tell me where you found all that glitter!"

"You mean a psychic type has been giving out free glowing things all this time?!" Maybe if he asked it nicely he could get a collection going.

✩ Rui giggles as the Grafaiai approaches her a second time with even more glowing bracelets than before. She offers her arm out and gives a little curtsey after it adorns her with more colors.

"Thanks again, little guy! These are super cute, and so are you!"

✩ It's times like this Rui remembers why she doesn't often go to big events: they are so full of music and noise, bright lights and auras... as much as she loves meeting new people, it's too easy for her to become overwhelmed.

And that's not even counting the ghostly pranksters that just make things even more disorienting. "Ugh," she groans, kicking ectoplasm off her shoe. "Shoo, shoo! I'm not causing you any trouble, so don't cause me any trouble! Fair's fair!"

✩ "That sounds great!" Rui says, grinning as she shrugs her jacket off. It's been a while since she had a match like this, and she has a feeling this one's going to be fun.

She settles into a practiced stance as she turns back to the other girl: knees slightly bent, hands by her sides, shoulders loose... eyes just a little unfocused.

"I'm ready whenever you are!"

"...Alright with me." A simple shrug. She had no abilities to speak of, not the supernatural kind, anyway. She did know now that some people did, though, which made the gears in her mind start turning. Was this one of those people?

Plumeria tucks away the Pokéball she was holding, stretching and getting ready for combat. "First one pinned to the ground loses? Loser buys the other lunch."
