Brimming with money, they leech from the poor, ruling over with an iron fist. Seeping with acid, they play with vials, dictating what is to come. Tapping glass, they manipulate wires, promising an advance. Why hold faith for a FUTURE that is doomed?「 」

Gonna take a little hiatus guys. Muse is kinda flickering and I don't wanna lose him yet. And inspiration is at a low with schoolwork piling up -- especially with this asshole of a muse.
Aight see you around.

He was either oblivious. drunk or chose not to realise the change to her. Or he just thought that she was some random nice kid. "Park. Slide. You being drunk. Going down the slide screaming you are the king of the world."
His lids had closed as he dismissed the child's presence. It didn't matter to him anyways. He had gotten what he wanted, and now she could leave. His behaviour didn't change even if he had was approached by a being much younger than himself. It was the words that left her that caught his attention. His eyes widened as he stared down at the small individual. "I -- Eunji?" He slipped the heat pack into his pocket before crouching down to her level. With gazes narrowed, he reached out to press his finger against her cheek as if testing if she was real. He wasn't hallucinating was he? He leaned close to her features, caring little about the way his breath, tainted with the smell of tobacco and the mints he had taken after his smoke, would affect the little one. "What the fuck happened to you?"

"Fuck."
The profanity slipped off his tongue like a saying that had been carved into the back of his mind. He'd already been waiting for ten minutes, and now added time? He'd be better if he could take the taxi, but then again that was once again money thrown down the drain. He'd have to wait it out. He pressed his lips together for a moment before turning his attention back to the female. She was a pretty one, that was a given fact. But even prettier with a smile. Her natural features seemed far too stony (perhaps like his own). It seemed a rare treat to see such an expression painting her visage -- it was pleasant. "Sounds like a story. I have time to kill. Tell me. How did you even get that cold? I mean, that sounds pretty impressive. Well, in the negative way of course. But still pretty impressive. I don't think I'd be able to die in this cold even if I tried. I'd probably pussy out or roll myself into a fire to keep warm or something ridiculous like that."
The man was humorous in that brash manner she came to appreciate, bringing her otherwise silent nature to a break as she stifled a meager laugh. Balancing on one foot shortly, she turned herself to face the stranger, who appeared all to gruff to fit in Seoul’s norms. A corner of her lips upturned briefly in amusement. “I’ve already hovered too close to death because of the winter here. But having a big hat isn’t gonna save your toes and if you’re waiting for the bus, it’ll be another 20-30 minutes.
#r:ep#[ you'd take all that back and so much more if you knew who i was -- ]#[ but thank you tatas thank you. ]#sumiseria

"Old man." Removing one of the heat packs she has in the pockets of her jacket, she instead gives it to him, seeing as to how he needs it more. "Here."
"I'm not old." Almost to emphasize his words, he jut his lower lip out into an obnoxious pout; widening his eyes only to add to the effect. When his eyes fell on the item offered to him, he immediately snatched it back, patting the outside to warm his fingers up. "Bless your beautiful soul." He didn't seem to care that her eyes were on him as he rubbed his cheek against the exterior of the heat pack, resembling a feline nuzzling against a human's leg.

Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she smiled softly, "Hello, hello."
She resembled her so much that he had taken him off guard. He simply stood for a moment, eyes scanning her features as his mind raced back to times he wouldn't forget. She had been an old friend of his. One he hadn't seen for years. But this wasn't her. Oh no. They carried the same features, the same tone of voice -- but it wasn't her. He shook the thought out of his mind, yet his features remained rather impassive. "..Hey."

"Hey there. I'm Joohyun. It's a pleasure to meet you." A smile appeared on her lips, and she bowed her head slightly, before raising her right hand.
He always found it odd when he was approached by a stranger, but it didn't mean that he would turn them again. He had often turned to female's he had never seen and had attempted to get their attention. This was no different. Minus the intent behind it. He eyed her for some time before nodding his head once in her direction. "Nice to meet ya' too. Taehyun. Joohyun. It's a pretty name. Kinda reminds me of jujubes though. Y'know the candy?"

He dug the heel of his shoe into the cold substance, a small grin playing on his features at the way the white blanket molded into his shape. He snickered at her reaction, playing along with what he had triggered. "Seems like you catch on fast." He couldn't help the soft laugh that left him as he easily slipped his hands into his front pockets. "See, if you weren't a complete stranger and if I wasn't some kid who screams "stranger danger", then I'd probably ask for that upfront. But with our conditions, I think it'd be fairly creepy if I asked. However..." He paused for a moment only to watch a dark furred squirrel scamper by. Taehyun often found his attention caught by the slightest things. It was only when he realized that the silence had drawn out for too long did he clear his throat awkwardly. "Uh yea, where was I? Right. However, you could buy me a warm drink in exchange for the hug you probably won't give me."
She hears the faint scoff that the latter let out, and in return, she lets out a soft chuckle. ” Just saying, y’know.” Was her response, as she stuffs both hands into her coat’s pockets, kicking at some snow in a rather idle manner. “Warmth?” She raises an eyebrow and tilts her head. “What you want a hug or something” She responds, voice tainted with faint sarcasm.

sumiseria replied to your post: "If it gets any colder, I swear my toe...
She glimpsed over her shoulder to the man diagonal to her, but she returned her attention ahead and back to the streets. “Seoul’s too cold to live in the winter, but it could be worse, you could be in Moscow.”
Had he been too loud again? It seemed like the case when he found his words replied to by the voice of an unfamiliar stranger. He craned his neck slightly so that his face was exposed to the cool breeze rather than bordered by the collars of his jacket. "I guess man, but I'd probably be dead cause of frostbite in Moscow. I don't know how those Russians live, man. It's probably those huge fur hats they keep on them. I'm pretty sure I'd be pretty fucking warm if I had one of those."

"Not like I’ll feel it, you’ll just mess your hand up even more."
"Okay, that happened like once. Maybe twice. I don't know, I lost count. But let's not talk about it. I should buy myself a weapon to inflict pain on you with, but that shit costs money." The thought of spending anymore than he already did caused him to groan with displeasure.

"That'd probably be the safest opinion." The words escaped him in a soft huff of breath. He watched the air dance around him in a misty cloud before turning his attention to the female who had spoken. His brows quirked at her sudden comment. He was sure he hadn't seen her, and yet she was already advising him? A scoff left his chapped lips as he swiped his tongue across the dry surface. "But y'know, tight on money so ... " He shrugged nonchalantly before his lips curled into the ghost of a faint smirk. "Unless you're offering some warmth in any form. I'll take that."
"Then perhaps you should bundle up more?" The girl muttered out loud, eyes glancing at the latter’s lack of clothing, as the corners of her lips curl into a small frown.
