Posted a day late, but yesterday I had a math review course for grad school. I can't believe classes start on Wednesday, but I'm so excited!

The perfectly fine flatlay I got before I got greedy and wanted more and then I somehow kicked my coffee with my stumpy leg and I spilled it all over the bedspread and the bujo… and I watched it all happen in slowmo ie. this is the last photo of my pristine bujo before it got turned into a vintage looking crinkled journal (I’m really sad, but there’s no use crying over spilled milk — I mean coffee — right?)

good day, really needed this break from my self destructive routine. I’m still healing and I spent a lot of my time today just sleeping and stuffing food into my body, but it felt good to not think about all those calories for once. who knew falling ill was what I needed to love myself better.
study time: 30 minutes (wheezes)

Beautiful Thursday you all!
Today is a very productive day. I already got so much work done and I’m very happy about that! It is a little hard sometimes to keep being energetic and motivated but I always try my best!
I hope you guys are having a productive and nice day too!
I‘m very happy about how my notes turned out today :)
My study tip for today:
Drink enough water when you are studying. It keeps you energetic and awake and is good for your health and skin! And don’t forget to be thankful to yourself, you’re doing great!
kisses xx

so last month i started creating weekly spreads on sunday’s versus creating it all under one day before the new month started. im doing the same thing for this month and i absolutely love it because I became more creative, more excited, and more wanting to use my weekly spreads.
do you create your weekly spread ahead of time or the day/week before?

August 26, 2021 - day 15
Today I
Read a few essays on sustainable development
Wrote and refined mini essay responses to the weekly prompt
Researched a different program
Read LOTS from many different books
Hit a 500 day streak on Duolingo!!
I just love how the sun filters through my propagation containers in the morning, especially during this time of year. My whole room becomes filled with a warm light, and I feel like I’m in a movie with heavy themes of nostalgia.
🎧 Listening to: Tell Me How Long by Kristen Bell
📖 Reading: Sustainable Urban Development Reader + LOTR + Biomimicry!

Seems like it’s about time for the obligatory “so sorry I’ve been gone for a while, here’s what I’m up to now” post so here goes:
My summer break was amazing; getting to see vaccinated friends in person was great so I did a lot of it. I also spent time cooking, going to the beach, running (slowly lol), and taking countless trips to target.
Now I have officially moved in to my on campus apartment with my roommates, and am getting ready for classes that start tomorrow! Its been a little overwhelming but otherwise good, though I am feeling pretty homesick. (Any students who have lived on campus have any idea how long that lasts?)
Anyways, I’ll be taking orgo 2, principles of evolution, soil sciences, and a few other courses I’m still finalizing before the add/drop period ends this semester! I’m excited for soils and extremely nervous for orgo, but all my roommates are taking it too so at least we’re in it together.
Not sure how often I’ll have time to post, but I will actually have notes to take pictures of so definitely more than I did this summer! Here’s to a great fall semester, y’all!
#audrey talks#fall semester#back to school#back to college#this will be my first time living on campus so any tips would be much appreciated

Chemistry - Alcohol Reactions Flashcards
You guessed it... more flashcards! I could remember pretty much none of these but hopefully this will’ve helped 😬 In other news, I got my 3rd physics test back today and although the score wasn’t amazing, it was about what I was expecting and makes my average 74% which I’m happy with since I hadn’t really started revising beforehand :)
🎵 Starlight - Slash ft Myles Kennedy (I’m listening to Slash’s ‘one with all the singers’ as a comfort album and ahh I love it)

Chemistry - Reaction Mechanisms Flashcards
Nothing particularly interesting happened today, but it was nice and I got quite a lot done. I did realise that I don’t know the mechanisms for chemistry very well, though, hence this revision!
🎵 The Cosmos Rocks Album - Queen + Paul Rodgers (this is the last one, so I can *finally* cross Queen off of my to-listen list, haha!)
