20 questions for Munday! | accepting
17. How long have you been RPing?
I started my first venture into rp around 2006 / 2007 I think? It was super fun, but I had no idea what we were doing had a name, nor did it last very long. Some time later I actually joined a little friend group of other rpers. That was the first actual rp thing I think I participated in.
18. Who was your first muse?
My first legit muse was Tifa from Final Fantasy VII ! Very shortly after, or around the same time actually I also had Itachi Uchiha as a muse.

She was real thrilled about the prospect of getting her hands on those books, wasn’t she? In her defense, it’s like stumbling upon a gold mine or a treasure trove for someone like her, but her excitement was hitting an unexpected high.
“I’m afraid I can’t help you with that, Lisa. You’d have to take that up with Lena and her family since they run the library here, not me. Ain’t my decision to make.” He would’ve agreed if they were his, though. Enthusiasm like that was something he loved to see. “Could still grab one of each of those topics for you. Long as you return ‘em, they’ll probably let you grab more the next time you swing by.”
“ Ah, of course, of course, excuse my excitement - I’m usually not like this.” She forced a laugh then cleared her throat. Somehow she’d forgotten herself...at least no one from the Knights was nearby to see.
“ Thank you, I’m very grateful, and you don’t have to worry about that. It give’s me a good reason to head back here after all! I was actually worried about not being able to find the time. ” She had to remember that she wasn’t here on her personal time, but as a representative of the city.

“Mm, it’s quite easy to find the ones that I am looking for!” Venti assured. “Though, most of the time I’m simply seeing what catches my eye.” It was hard to know what has been added since you last looked, after all, when the last time you looked could have been months or years, or not even the same library.
But, that was a train of thought to stop before he drifted with it, and Venti turned his attention back to the librarian.
“A favourite? Hmm.” He tapped his fingers in a beat on the table, considering. “I’m not sure! I’m drawn to poems and written ballads, of course, but that may be more due to my trade. I do find written personal accounts interesting, from time to time. It’s a glimpse into how others live and think, after all.”
“Though, that being said, I’m not all that picky. A good story is a good story!”
“ Oh, I’m glad, I do spend a lot of time making everything organized! ” Lisa said with a smile. “ But, speaking of personal accounts, we do have a section dedicated to such things. Most of them are essays written by experienced adventurers, some are actually quite entertaining. We even have a few written by various traveling bards! Whether fact or no, they are also worth a read. ”
She gestured towards some of the aisles to indicate where the mentioned books and articles were filed. “ I am curious now though, have you written anything of your travels before? Or would you like to? ”

Xanthe frowned as she heard the woman begin laughing and assuming that it was about her being unable to keep her hands on it. Xanthe looked back towards the water. Most of the fish had scattered away but she knew that they would be back. She heard the woman begin to lecture her and was about to tune her out but began to listen again when she was poked in the face with a fan. Xanthe peered back towards her, “… Do fish feel? I mean they are already coming back.” As if to prove her point, she jerked her head back towards the fish lazily swimming again, “They seem pretty dumb. If they weren’t in this pond they would probably die.”
“…” Xanthe opened her mouth before she shut it again. Older women were harder for her to read. The offer was probably some sort of trick. After all, it wasn’t like she had anything to offer for a meal. It seemed like ploy to give her a debt, “And how much does this free meal cost?” A free meal would be nice the question is if it is worth it. “What would I owe you?”
“ Well, I believe they feel, that’s up to you though if you want to consider it as well. ” She laughed again, this time more quietly as she hummed to herself. “ Hmm, owe me?” she tapped her own chin a few times while making ‘ hmm ’ sounds. “ Well, honestly, I was being genuine when I said I’d be happy to treat you, but since you offered~! ” She had no intention of actually asking the young girl for anything, but she was feeling like teasing her a bit. There was never anything wrong with a bit of fun as long as it was innocent, right?
“ What have you got to offer? I’m interested now. If I like what I hear I’ll throw in some more for you.~ ”

“….” Again she’s silent, trying to remember, there had been so many shows, so many faces, so many guests, it was hard to keep track of them, but she couldn’t deny he had an air of familiarity around him that was comforting. “I…don’t exactly remember, sorry Mister Zhongli.” It had been a number of years.
“I do remember some of the stories though, they kind of stuck with me.”
“ Oh, that’s quite alright, do not fret over it, though I am glad to hear that the stories at least have been remembered. That’s more important anyway. ”
He too fell silent, considering something before speaking again, “ I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable then, but know that I am glad to see you doing well.”

“Eh, I was thinkin’ that’s how they did it, but I didn’t want to jump to any conclusions. Wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong about how performers did things.” Two people in the entertainment industry rarely operated the same way, be it in performance, business, or both.
His gaze returned to the stonework and ceramic tile roofs that lined the shore opposite to the mountain where they stood. “Trust me, I am.”
“ Well, It was nice to meet you. I’ll leave you to your day now, besides I should be getting back to the city, ” he stood from his seat on the rock, his joints popping, a small hint to just how long he may have been sitting there. “ I must thank you for giving me your time, if you ever need anything you can find me at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor on most days. I will more than likely be free, and will be happy to assist. ” He turned to make his way down the mountain, but paused to turn back to him.
“ Oh, I don’t believe I got your name, what can I call you? ”

“I don’t see why not. Couldn’t be in any better hands, really.” He’d bring up late fees and the like, although it’d be humorously pointless to tell a librarian how a library works. She knew the whole shtick by heart. What he wasn’t expecting was the sheer excitement of his companion over the foreign tomes. So much more than enthusiastic… she was ravenous with her curiosity.
“There a specific kind you want? They’ve got books on myths, folktales, guides to local wildlife and monsters, history, and a whole lot more.
Why hadn’t she even considered asking about this before? And she called herself a librarian? The only problem now was deciding which one, or how many to choose, if that was an option...
“ Hmm, I hope it’s not too much trouble to request one of everything you just mentioned? ” she gasped suddenly, an idea surfacing that made her eyes shine with additional excitement. “ Oh! Or, if you have multiple copies of something, I can buy them off you! How about it? You can consider it your first official transaction with the Knights of Favonious ! ” She held her hands together in front of her as she looked up at him, a grin on her face.

Lisa is stunned for a single tick from the grandfather clock that sat in the back of the library, two, three, before she graciously, but swiftly withdraws her hand. The velvety thin fabric of her glove whispering against the skin of his palm, her cheeks are tinged pink, but only for a moment. “ My, my, ever the charmer, are you, Kaeya? ” she laughs and quickly turns to place the last book in her other hand on the shelf where it belonged, just about finished cleaning up for the evening. “ You know, ” she starts, eyes turning from the shelf to look him in the eye, “ there is a reason why getting stuck by lightning is known as ‘ the wrath of the gods ’, I think I need not give you a more pertinent reason, no? ” A laugh leaves her then, and she crosses her arms over her chest, as if to guard herself from something subconsciously.
“ Lucky indeed,” she agrees, amusement clear on her face as she taps her chin in thought, “ for you that is, though doesn’t dear Diluc give you free wine anyway? ” she moves to walk past him, making sure to hold eye contact until she had to turn to place her hand on the door. “ I’m not privy to wine on most occasions, but if he is giving you a hard time then I don’t mind playing along. ” She turns back to face him, a wink adorning her face, she knew what Kaeya was about, he almost always had some hidden reason for his actions, “ though you owe me a box of tea~ sound fair? ”
@celestarial said: 💋 for a kiss of the receiver’s choice: (Lisa!)
A grip that is not quite cold, singing for the ice that inhabits his very veins and not quite warm, a heat that dwells with fiery fervor in his playfully narrowed eye. A chaste kiss placed upon the back of Lisa’s hand, cradling her gently with his own as his body slightly tapers forward. A kiss so deceivingly sweet that it masks the primordial fangs that steady just behind it. Of most of the people in Mondstadt, after all, the librarian was one of the few that knew better and was privy to the captain’s antics. He did not act one way without expecting a specific outcome from it in return.
“ Perhaps I should let your hand go before you really give me a reason to . “ A knowing smile twists at the already upturned corners of his lips “ But as luck would have it , I hear tell of a certain red-haired barista that has promised a free bottle of wine should one be accompanied with another, hand held in hand . Tell me , that does not happen to interfere with any plans you have for tonight , would it ? “

“Town’s got a library of its own, actually.” He pushed himself up off the wooden fencing, a sound akin to a grunt escaping him as he straightened his posture.
“Real small one run by an older couple and a girl ‘bout my age, no bigger than a house since it is a house, but it’s got a little bit of everything from back home. Lena’s probably teaching some of the kiddos right now though. Doesn’t mean I can’t grab a book for you real quick though.”
“ Oo! I would love that! ” she nearly jumped in her excitement, but - attempted to - covered it up with an awkward cough. “ Uh, ha, I mean that would be great. Thank you. ” She couldn’t help herself. The idea of getting her hands on a rare book from a far away land was enough to make her day, however getting her hands on a book that no one in the entire land of Teyvat has ever even seen before? That was on a whole other level. The scholar in her was bursting with excitement! “ May I take it back with me for awhile? ” she asked hopefully.

Recognition flashes across her face as he mentions the show, and the smile grows on her face. “Ah! I remember that one, it was almost right after my debut…” She stares off fondly for a moment before blink.
“Eh? To talk, I assume?” She asks, feeling a little curious on why he’d want to talk to really a nobody like her. “I don’t mind… Let me go get changed into my normal clothes…” And with that Camilla wandered off behind the stage, and quickly came back minutes later with a small bag and in a more comfortable dress.
“Mister Zhongli, why do you want to talk to me in particular?”
He waited patiently off to the side for her to return, careful to stay out of the way of the foot traffic that moved through the space. When she approached him again, reasonable confusion in her voice, a soft laugh left him. He should probably have explained himself first.
“ Forgive me Miss, I just wanted to see how you were doing. The performance that I mentioned was your first excursion to Liyue, afterward I accompanied you and your group on your journey to the city. It has been some time, has life treated you well? ”

Xanthe sat at the edge of the water. The fish swam lazily too and fro. They were not like wild fish. In fact some of them even swam up towards the surface of the pond as if noticing passerby and expecting to be fed by them. Which was why Xanthe figured she could probably catch a couple of them easily without the notice of the people of Liyue. The times before had sort of been a bust though some clever black mail and/or bribery seemed to get the milleth around this area off her back for fish catching.
Xanthe leaned forward more as she let her hand sink into the water. She swiftly grabbed the fish lifting it out of the water as she heard a woman speak to her. Xanthe juggled the fish in her hands momentarily before it managed to slip out of her grasp. The fish gave a large splash as it hit the water. Xanthe frowned as all the fish swiftly swam away. Xanthe peered over in the ladies direction while frowning.
“I was planning on eating them… So disturbing the fish was what I was doing.” Xanthe wiped her face off. “… They’re always putting more fish in these ponds anyways they won’t miss one or two.”
“ Oh! ” Mitsuki stared at the young girl with widened eyes for a beat before laughing out. She did not expect such a passionate answer from her. She especially did not expect her assumption to be right, if anything she was aiming to tease the girl.
“ Yes, but just because the fish are replaced every time doesn’t necessarily mean it is okay for you to snatch them up. ” She poked the girl’s cheek lightly with her fan, “ imagine how the fish feel? Must not be nice, watching their friends constantly being yanked away, especially since their purpose is to bring us onlookers a sense of peace~ Besides, I’m sure you’d agree it’s much nicer to have a proper lunch. If you are hungry I am more than happy to treat you! ”

This will be Mitsuki’s first Lantern Rite Festival in over a millennia, she’s as anxious as she is excited! At the same time she is very solemn, as memories of her old comrades are often at the front of her mind whenever she looks at the lanterns.
