Was I upset that I didn’t get to see Conor Garland, yes. But did it bring much joy to see some of Oilers top starting players have to go to shootout against AHL Canucks, absolutely yes.

Anytime I read the word "bud" in a hockey fic, I go "wait you gotta categorize this." Is this bud as in completely platonic? Bud as in dating, married, or in love with you?
