Yesterday was Kit’s birthday! Every year we try to make each other something really cool, and this year I made her a little star person. He was hugely inspired by the incredibly talented Mr. and Mrs. Muju of Mujuworld and Lorena Alvarez’s exquisite little felt dolls. I don’t know how she gets her stitches so perfect, but I don’t do a lot of embroidery, so maybe with some practice! At her birthday party, she asked me if, when I made this, it felt like a male or female. Our mom said, “It is a genderless being of universal love.” I thought that was perfect. C:
