well my thoughts on smutty things period will, and probably ALWAYS be, that it should be illegal, or at the very least very much sold/required to be released in certain places, not for theological reasons. just that the impacts they hold on society are simply that are positive do not even come close to out waying the negitive. kids being exposed to porn, the porn industy abusing it's actors. people growing addicted to it. it would be so much easier to be solved if it was made illegal or treated like alchol or smoking. but thats just moi

Let's talk for a sec here.

I'm in no way shape or form demonizing books with smut or a lot of sex in general. It's most women's access to porn without the trash and problems of the porn industry. And women should be able to explore sexuality in more explicit ways.

BUT.

We do criticize and demonize men when they have a porn addiction.

This up here may be a joke, but we know damn well for a lot of girls and women it isn't. They would not open a book if there's not porn in it.

So why is it taboo to also label this as porn addiction??? Cause it's porn addiction at this point.

If it's dangerous and harmful for men, it is also for women, even if the medium is different.

And we should be able to call this out.

And it's ruining the editorial industry (look at the shelves who once were fantasy and try to contradict me on this. I dare you.)
