A gasp escaped her lips when she said that as the pieces... wanted to come together. "Papa... what happened to Mama?"

The orichalcos seal had formed itself from his feet, yet there was a certain pain in his head. Emanating from the back and spreading to his forehead “Tch..!” He shook it off and looked down at her. 

“Your mother did sacrifice herself. The orichalcos proved her to be a monster, with her attacking me I did what I could.” Sharply inhaling, he could feel something coming, an overwhelming sadness?

“It was I that struck her down.”

AU/headcanon of the scene where Dartz attacks Chris and Ironheart with lightning to keep them from helping Yami.

I feel like Dartz didn't really want to hurt his daughter, even with the Orichalchos having taken over his mind. He takes Sky out first rather than Chris, then misses most of his next shots at her, and his final one makes her trip rather than engulfing her whole.
