Accles

In the star system Gegdahl, a brown ringed planet called Accles can be found surrounded by a beautiful pink sea of cosmic clouds. Although enshrouded in a magnificent glow, this planet hides secrets unimaginably dark. It's safe to observe from a distance, but travel beyond its rings and you'll face a fate worse than death. The pink mist turns to dust, the twinkling stars to tears. The curiosity that once consumed you turns into unbearable terror as your vessel's walls cave in. Time slows, yet you feel yourself sucked into the planet's atmosphere at a quickening rate. Panicked efforts to escape prove futile as the air grows thicker and thicker. Breaths quicken, vision blurs, hope dwindles. While you gasp for what little air is left, you feel yourself grabbed by a hooded figure. "This is your last stop", it says. Your skin turns red. Your soul has been claimed, and the sky glows a little brighter.

Every portrait is created with love and care, and is completely customisable! I can do any background or colour scheme, and can also give them accessories or other special features. For example, I created a portrait for an adorable cat named Oberon who unfortunately passed away in 2022. His owner requested that I give him a halo in the portrait. I also placed him in a field of wild flowers. Because they're created using photo editing, they're very flexible and adjustments can always be made!

Omega Nebula

The Omega Nebula, also known as Messier 17 (M17) or the Swan Nebula, is a magnificent star-forming region located in the constellation Sagittarius. It is one of the most famous and iconic nebulae in the night sky, known for its distinctive swan-like shape and vibrant colors.

It is approximately 5,000 light-years away from Earth.

The Omega Nebula gets its name from its resemblance to the Greek letter Omega (Ω). It has a distinctive, elongated shape and is often depicted in images as a colorful cloud of gas and dust.

The nebula is a region of active star formation, containing many young, massive stars. The intense radiation from these stars ionizes the surrounding gas, causing it to glow. It spans about 15 light-years across.

Dexter 🧡

This is a portrait I made today of my wonderful cat Dexter! This is my favourite photo of him :)

Decky's story: We met Dexter last June when he was just three months old. He was living in a small animal shelter about an hour from where I live. He was quite an anxious kitten, and hadn't had the easiest start in life. He was neutered far too young, and his whole litter had caught parvovirus. Only him and his brother Titus remained, but that changed a few months later when Titus unfortunately passed away, leaving Decky as the only survivor of the litter. Dexter was also bullied by other cats in the shelter, often robbed of his share of food and attacked without reason. He had become withdrawn, easily startled and wary of people.

My sister absolutely loves cats. My neighbour, a volunteer at the shelter, knew that she craved a kitten in her life, so she offered to take her to the shelter for the day to help out. She had a secret plan. Dexter needed a loving family, and my sister longed for a cat. They needed eachover, and my neighbour took the opportunity to introduce them. I wasn't there when they first met, but my sister tells me he was nervous, but slowly grew more trusting as they spent time together. Over the now 8 months I've known him, it's been so heartwarming to watch him come out of his shell and become the sweet, mischievous and friendly boy I know and love :)
