I’VE HEARD THE MERMAIDS SINGING (1987) dir. Patricia Rozema Amateur photographer Polly lands a temp job at a Toronto art gallery run by elegant and sophisticated Gabrielle, who is also a painter. Polly is impressed with Gabrielle’s paintings.
