Hello! A lot of you have been asking me where and how I’ve learn multiple languages and well, after a few hours of digging through my browser history and bookmarks, I was able to collect all of these resources. I have personally used all of these, so I can assure you they are useful! If there is something wrong with a website or a link, please let me know. Also, if you have any questions or if you want a learning buddy, my ask box is open. (I speak English and Spanish. I’m learning Korean, German, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, and Esperanto)

Note: Learning a new language requires a lot of dedication, more than you actually think! Especially if you’re learning multiple languages at the same time. It isn’t impossible, but it will take time. And by time I mean months and/or years! So please, be patient. Take your time. Don’t rush. Keep in mind that you will mess up and that’s okay. Practice as much as you can. Practice out loud. Talk to yourself if you can. It doesn’t matter if people think you’re crazy. They won’t be thinking the same when you become a polyglot, so don’t mind them. This is for you and your future.

Guess who started a new show for the sole purpose of procrastination 🤪 it’s me

Anyway this show so far is good vibes like horror mystery mixed with romance and it’s rly refreshing. I don’t think I’ve watched anything like this and they’re dynamic is cool so far

Helnik was so surprising and refreshing to watch on screen. I have to be honest, i thought I'd be the least thrilled to see them but boy, was I wrong. Not only are their dialogues the most similar to the books out of all the characters but watching Matthias melt from Nina's charm was such a ride.

Not to mention how hot Matthias is AND Nina is as endearing as she was in the books.

thinking abt how when inej was injured kaz couldn’t touch her to check if she was okay and thinking about inej refusing to kill and then killing for kaz to save his life and thinking about him admitting he needs her and thinking about how they look at each other and i’m. i cannot deal with this

Part 2: 

Karma walked away. The rocks under her shoes dug into her feet. It wasn’t her fault. Stupid Orothos always sabotaged her plans. But he was right this time. Her attacks had been slow, too slow, and too unfocused. And it was only getting worse, with the Court date coming up. 

She could imagine it now: a swarm of people, all in fancy dresses and tailored suits, chatting and clinking their glasses, awaiting to be called upon to hear the verdict of the year. The hosts were nice enough, but the Judge, he was ruthless. If Karma was unable to at least have proof of a successful kidnapping, heist, or murder mission, she would be kicked to the streets. Her sister, though, would have a far worse fate. She wouldn’t let that happen. “Never”, she thought, as two singular tears spilled over. She didn’t bother wiping them away. The challis covering the bottom half of her face caught them and the wind dried their paths. Her hand tightened around the handle of her sword, something to keep her anchored in the real world, and a promise to herself and her sister.

Her thoughts drifted to Orothos once again. She couldn’t understand what his angle was. He could’ve captured her right there, when she had almost fell to the ground. Perhaps he enjoyed feeling like a hero; his savior complex would skyrocket with the thought of letting a poor girl go because she “deserves a second chance.” Or maybe it was out of pity. The thought alone killed her. She needed no ones pity. For a fleeting second, she thought that maybe.. just maybe, it was concern that made him ask, that made him leave her alone. 

“No,” said the tiny voice in her head, “You have never given anyone a reason to care about you. He, out of all the people in the world, would be the last to care.” 

But it was fine. She didn’t care either. 

Concept #109

Hero had found Villain to be rather stressed over the last few days. Turned out it was the annual agency visit at their base to rate their standards/level of villainy. Villain asks Hero to let them ‘kidnap’ them to help boost their score.

i know the mortifying ordeal of being known is real for too many of us, but consider this: someone saw you once and loved your hairstyle. someone loves your laugh, how you scrunch your nose when you find something funny. your birthday could be an old friend’s password. that one song you recommended to your crush a couple summers back could still be their favorite. you are in other people’s birthday party photos. someone could’ve fallen in love with you on public transportation. our lives intertwine beautifully and you, dear human, are a little piece of other people’s fond, lovely memories. part of the ordeal of being known implies the ordeal of being loved.

Nina Zenik and Matthias Helvar really went from enemies to reluctant allies to friends to contemplating running away to another country together to bonding over waffles to enemies again in one season huh
