Many people do not realize that the anniversary of Sabra & Shatila, the massacre of the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon by the occupation and the philangist government forces of Lebanon, was on September 15th. Days later, the occupation detonates thousands of electronic devices, two days in a row, killing and injuring many.
Watch, witness, as this occupation claws its way down to dissolution, to disarray, to disrepair. This will be over soon, and we will never hear of this disgusting, barbaric, terroristic occupation ever again.
You kill my people, my Palestinian people, my Lebanese people. Countless martyrs numbered in my family tree on both sides.
Your brutality, your bloodthirst, it will be your undoing.

Words cannot express how utterly disappointed I am when it comes to helping Sudan. People are hesitant to show their support. They would even dismiss it. No, I am not making this shit up. I have been talking to people about Sudan and their reaction is lacklustre!
I know anti-blackness plays a significant role, along with the lack of media coverage (which is, again, due to anti-blackness), but this is unacceptable. Many people are dying. The country going through a flooding. Homes are destroyed. Families are displaced. Famine is claiming more lives than the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) and SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces) combined.
They need our help!
There is one way you can show your support! Kindly have a look at this fundraiser. It belongs to Eman Abdelrahman (@emooz-8). She is a 25 year old Sudanese and she is raising funds to evacuate. She has been campaigning since January of this year, but she struggles to receive donations to this day! The last one was made 2 DAYS AGO!
Let's pick up the pace and aim for a doable goal once again - 30K in 3 days! As of writing this (Sept 9th), 29,517 CHF has been raised! There is only 483 CHF left to go! Please check your currency exchange. It is in Swiss Franc! ($10 USD = 8 CHF)
There is also a fundraiser for her extended family. Please keep in mind that it is in Singaporean Dollars, so double check with your currency exchange! ($10 USD = $13 SGD)
You can even match me! I've given 5 CHF and $5 SGD!
Verification (#213).
Thank you!

I wanted to shed light on Amal Ashuor's campaign, a mother from Gaza who's fundraising to keep her family safe in the midst of genocide. @amalashuor's campaign is vetted #175.
As a mother myself, I can't even begin to imagine what the past 11 months have been like for someone like Amal, whose entire goal is to protect her daughter who was only 9 months at the start of this aggression. I can't imagine the pain that comes with watching your baby hitting their milestones in the middle of all of this horror and destruction.
The campaign started as Amal was fundraising to evacuate her family of 3. However, with the only exit being closed by Israel and Israel's relentless evacuation orders, Amal details how she has been displaced by Israeli orders multiple times, each move costing insane amounts.
As a mother, she can't expect her 18 month old daughter to walk unknown distances, yet getting transportation cost between $600 and $2000. She had to buy a tent that cost her upwards of $800, which was later burnt by Israeli shelling and rendered useless. For that, Amal now has to pay rent which is $2,500. On top of that, considering neither she or her husband are working at the moment, they need funds to feed their daughter, buy formula and diapers, a task and an anxiety that kills me just thinking about it.
Amal's campaign had raised €37,500/50,000 as of today (September 12, 2024) which is quite close to the goal. Please remember that donating to this campaign doesn't only allow Amal to provide basic needs for her daughter but it also gives Amal the only glimmer of hope in the midst of the grim reality that they're living through.
Show Amal support and give her some ease of mind by sharing this here and with your friends and family and/or by donating if you're able to. No amount is too little.

Besides Israel admitting it was the Mossad, but to say shit like this you'd have to be a) okay with looking very stupid and b) to pretend that Israel hasn't historically been notorious for using different new technologies to inflict violence and maintain its apartheid regime in Palestine, in addition to using Palestine and Palestinians as testing grounds for these new weapons and technologies.
Take recent months in Gaza for example, Israel has been using AI systems like Lavender to create kill lists. In the first few weeks alone following October 7, Lavender flagged up to 37,000 Palestinians and their homes as bombing targets.
Israel has also been using AI automated systems like the one they disturbingly call "where's daddy?" which is used to track the targeted individuals and specifically carry out bombings when they enter their family’s home.
Another AI based system that Israel has been using in Gaza is The Gospel, which generates targets at an almost instantaneous speed, to the point where Israeli intelligence calls it the "mass assassination factory".
Israel has been, for decades, infiltrating communications throughout Palestine. Now they listen in to the phone calls made specifically by the families of martyrs to determine the success rate of their operations.
And this is just in Gaza in the past 11 months alone.
In the West Bank, Israel has been employing AI based systems for years. They have been using robotic guns, dubbed "smart shooters", which use AI to track people who Israel determines as targets, and shoots to kill with a remote control.
Israel has also been using a facial recognition technology called Red Wolf at checkpoints throughout the West Bank but especially in Hebron.
Simultaneously, Israel has also been using Blue Wolf, an app that contains a database of all available information on Palestinians living in the West Bank and is used by Israeli forces to restrict the movement of Palestinians and to harass them, and in many instances to kill them.
That's besides the constant heavy use of quadcopters and drones to surveil Palestinians' every move and to carry out assassinations. You can hear them nonstop in the background of videos coming out of Palestine, specifically Gaza.
All of this is to say that you simply cannot, with a straight face, say that Israel hasn't been a leading figure in the weaponisation of AI systems and cyber-technology in general, using them to inflict so much violence and to indiscriminately kill tens of thousands with complete impunity.

📎Read with your heart
Targeting children in war is one of the most horrific crimes that humanity can witness. On the battlefield, children are robbed of their natural right to childhood, innocence, and safety. Instead of playing and learning, they find themselves running from rubble or living in constant fear of sudden bombing or stray bullets. These children do not understand why they are being punished for conflicts in which they had no part, but their bodies and minds bear burdens far beyond their years. The young victims do not only lose their lives or limbs, they are robbed of their hopes and futures, becoming open wounds in the conscience of humanity.

🚨I WILL NOT FORGIVE ANYONE WHO IGNORES THIS
I will not explain at length. Yesterday I lost the last remaining member of my family in northern Gaza. It broke my heart to see them collecting the little girl's body parts. I couldn't imagine the pain that happened to them. Click. I cannot forget what happened to my family months ago when our house was bombed and a massacre was committed against my family. Click. Lolo's father was killed so that she would become a lone survivor and an orphan. All I can say is there is no time. Please, can you save what's left of my family.

guys i understand that i'm sounding like a broken record at this point, but notes on a fundraiser mean nothing if they don't translate into actual, tangible help for the family. my latest post about hani's fundraiser broke 4k notes, yet somehow we only managed to rack up a thousand today. that is too little. that literally means only 1/4th, at best, donated to the fundraiser. please donate as well as reblog. if you only reblog without so much as considering donating pocket change to the fundraiser, that puts into question if you care or if you're simply sharing it to absolve yourself of guilt. i understand some people genuinely can't afford it, but if you can please donate - however it may be. it helps. it makes a difference.

I don't think people would mind DMs, you can tag people in the post as well, a network has formed that way to help spread things, you can find the tag lists in posts by appsa or malcriada for example
thank you for letting me know! I appreciate it
