Official Hiatus Notice

Hello, it’s the blog’s mod here.

(This part is really long and sort of irrelevant. It’s just a bit about how my mind works and why I have a hard time keeping up with projects such as ask blogs. Feel free to skip it.) 

This blog has not updated in a very long time and I’m really sorry about it. I tend to struggle with keeping up to thing like ask blogs whenever I make them and quickly fall in and out of love with new and different characters from different shows. 

I sort of fell out of the fandom with Don’t Starve. While I still love the game, I can’t find myself playing it for more than two in-game days now. There’s hardly any motivation to play now. I’ve also fallen deeply in love with many other series at the time. I have a hard time being a fan of more than one thing at once, so when I started this blog, I was completely obsessed with Don’t Starve, but I’ve just moved onto new things. 

I’d really like to come back to this someday and I definitely plan to answer the remainder of my inbox, but for a long time, there just hasn’t been any motivation. The blog started feeling more like a chore than something I wanted to do for fun, which happens to just about every drawn-out project I start. I focus on one thing for a long time, obsessing over it, spending all my time with it, having it be the only thing that makes me happy, then I’ll suddenly burn out and find no joy in that thing anymore. 

I’m not saying that Don’t Starve doesn’t make me happy anymore-- I still smile from seeing fanart or hearing about the new characters. I’m just not as interested as I was before in the game, and it’s all been pushed to the side with all the new fandoms I’ve gotten into.

(Summary of all that - I tend to obsess over one thing for a really long time and suddenly stop liking one day. Once my Don’t Starve obsession burned out, this blog started being hard to keep up with.) 

I’ll hopefully start answering asks one day again and come off of hiatus, but for now, this blog will be at a pause.

We’re so sorry!

Hey there everyone! The blog hasn’t updated for a while... We’re really sorry about that. Our computer has been running really slowly and it’s hard to draw when we’re getting so much lag. There has also just been a big lack of motivation with doing art in general... 

We can hopefully start answering asks again soon and we’ll really try our best to get some more out.

We know that there’s been a lot of short hiatuses on this blog since the start, but we have trouble staying motivated for things like this. Now, don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love running this blog! We wouldn’t give it up for the world! But at the moment, we’re just a little stressed out.

We’ll get the blog moving again soon, we promise!
