☀️ If you could spend a day with one of the sides, who would you choose and what would you do?

James nods and blinks realizing the others can't see him properly and quickly fixes it so interaction with him is open to all of the people located on the house. "Hi, you three. I'm James," he says turning to Patton, Logan, and Roman. "Okay, I am going to explain to you what I informed Virgil. I'm going to go interact with the living. As an asker entity I am able to change my appearance. I didn't have full interaction set just then this why I appeared the way I dof." He explains then turns back to Virgil in his globe. "Don't worry, Sweet heart. I'll make sure he doesn't realize you reside here." He then disappears from the ghosts to the front door knocking, keeping himself available to all interaction.

Roman jumps back for a second at the sudden appearance.

Logan carefully grabs Roman's shoulders to stabilize him and looks at Patton who has his head tilted in confusion. "Honestly I don't understand this either but then again we are ghost who exist at only a couple inches tall. At this point my knowledge of reality has hit the road as they say."

Virgil jumped at the voices behind him before quickly covering his head with his hood and leaning against the spiral hill.

Thomas was a bit surprised by the knock at the door. But quickly moved to answer it.

"That was fast..." Remy spoke up.

"Hey...uh...James. How have you been? Long time...no see?" Thomas stumbled for his words hoping he could pull this off.

James' eyes glaze momentarily then he blinks and nods. He looks spooked at Virgil's reaction. "Virgil? Which one of them are you freaked out about? I'm going to be interacting with them here soon." He them causes a text to pop up on Thomas's phone. 'Thomas, my name is James. I'll be showing up in person soon by walking into the room from behind you. I don't want to let on to Remy and Emile what I am yet. You mind playing along when I show up?' he then stands and walks over to the snow globe. "Virgil, please tell me what caused you to panic like this?"

Virgil took a few deep breathes. "Emile...the one with the pink hair." He moved to sit on top of the glass. "He's my...was my therapist." He swallowed hard. "I just...he can't know I'm here...I feel horrible. He's a great guy. I hate to see him upset over my stupid mistake." He hugged his knees to his chest. "I just didn't expect him to be here. I'm fine..."

Logan, Roman, and Patton slowly moved over and stood behind the snow globe unsure what was fully going on. They glanced at you unable to fully make out your appearance or anything. Roman stands in front of Patton and Logan a bit protectively.

Thomas's phone binged. He laid down his slice of pizza and pulled out his phone. His brows stitched together in confusion, before relaxing again. He looked up at Emile and Remy. "This is going to be one interesting day" he quietly mumbles to himself.

"Everything okay Thomas?" Emile asked from next to Remy.

"Oh...yeah..I have a friend coming over. They just texted me last minute." Thomas smiled and put his phone away.

"Glad we brought 2 pizzas instead of one!" Remy laughs.

Author: So if you don't interact with the others they can't exactly see you its like a blurry figure. No distinct features except height and basic human form. They can't hear you or anything but it allows for them to know something is communicating with another character. This way reaction aren't 100% random from their point of view but also doesn't force you to interact if you don't want to.

The being, James the asker, hanging out with Virgil looks up. "Seems Thomas has guests. I wonder if the rule setter of the universe will allow me to interact. You gonna go take a peek, Virgil? Or are you gonna ignore them and continue drawing?" James asks, shifting so he has a knee up and an arm slung over it from where he sits besides Virgil.

Virgil shrugged. "Probably ignore them." After a moment his curiosity took over him. He leaned down and looked under the TV out to the group standing in the kitchen. "No!" He sat up as his breathe hitched a bit. "He can't see me!" He quickly dived into the snow globe and hid in the glass. The others seem to looking down from the stairs from hearing Virgil.

Unexpected Guests

Warning: cursing

Third person POV

Thomas, Roman, Logan, and Patton had been sitting for a few hours learning all new stuff about each other.

"So you were the last owner of the house?" Thomas asked Patton. Patton nodded. "So what keeps you here? If you are comfortable with me asking!" He holds his hands up quickly causing Logan to slightly flinch at the action.

Patton gently gripped Logans shoulder. He knew that this whole thing was a bit overwhelming, remembering how the nerd reacted when he first met him when the two decided to reveal themselves to him. "Honestly I'm not sure. Its not like I have unfinished business or anything like that to take care of."

Thomas pondered Pattons response. "So are you bonded to something in the house or like to the house itself?"

"Roman's attached to the house. I'm attached to a stuffed animal that was left here by the family that lived here." Patton explained.

"Well what about-" Thomas was cut off hearing a knock on the door. He looked over at the digit clock next to his bed. 12pm. "Oh crap I forgot they were coming over today!" He carefully but quickly climbed off the bed. The three exchanged a quick look before quickly floating up and following after Thomas. As Thomas reached the bottom of the stairs he looked back to see the three floating at the point where the downstairs ceiling meets the stairs. He smiled a bit, before the knocking brought him back to the task at hand. He ran to open the door and greeted the two men who stood there. "Hey! Sorry, I was upstairs."

"Sorry did we wake you?" The one man spoke up.

"Tch....no...I was just....getting pants on?" Thomas shrugged trying to hide his lie.

The men laughed and shook their heads. "You know its okay if you were asleep.. There is a lot on your plate right now. Speaking of plate." The men held up two pizza boxes. "You going to let us in before this pizza gets cold or-"

Thomas quickly opened the door wider and moved out of the way. "Oh yeah! Of course. Sorry" he closed his eyes and shook his head trying to get his mind back on track. "So what have you two been up to?"

"Well you know its been a bit hectic with losing a patient, but I'm managing." The male with pink hair replied.

"Girl let me tell you the new coffee shop up the street doesn't stand a chance to my starbies, but they do have some pretty good pastries." The man in the leather jacket spoke up pointing the straw of his Starbucks cup at Thomas.

"Remy tried another coffee shop besides Starbucks? The world must be ending!" Thomas joked.

"Woah! Back it up, bitch. Nothing beats my Starbies!" The man next to him cleared his throat in a playful way. "Okay, well except you babes. But I mean in coffee wise."

"I swear if Starbucks was a person you would replace me for him." The pink hair man teased.

"Emile! Babes! No! Starbucks can't stand up next to you." Remy gently pulled Emile over and lifted the smaller ones chin up gently. "I would give up all the Starbucks in the world for you."

Emile immediately buried his face into Remus shirt, hiding his face behind the leather jacket. "Remmmmy!" Remy smirked slyly and sipped his coffee while keeping an arm around the very flustered man.

Thomas chuckled at the interaction. "You two are such a cute couple."

"You're damn gay we are!" Remy said loudly, causing Emile to turn into a laughing mess.

So all thomas asks will come in the form of a text. Remy and Emile aren't open for questions, but they will return later on no worries. As always the rest are open for question

The tiny asker hums. "Hey, Virgil. I'm gonna shuffle my appearance," they say as their look slowly transforms.

When their form settles the look over at Virgil. "Here we go. See in my time it is much longer than here in your world. So my appearance most likely change frequently. Anyway, I bet your art will look awesome when it's done."

Virgil raised an eyebrow. "What world are you from Star Trek?!" He shakes his head. "I don't know why I feel this is weird when you started out as a random voice that spoke to me." He glances at his art turning it different directions before shrugging. "Its okay I suppose considering the size of the lead and paper now then when I was living. But thanks..."

A small humanoid flickers into view infront of virgil. "Hey, Virgil. Check it. Just got an update that we can make ourselves visible!" He laughs thrilled. "What do you think of that huh?" He then sits by Virgil. "Whatcha drawing?"

Virgil jumps back, a scream slipping from his lips. "What the- how- where- um..." he pauses for a moment to ground himself before looking back up. "I guess thats pretty cool. Better to have a face to attach to a voice I guess." He finds his piece of lead again and leans over the post it note. "It's a new Nightmare Before Christmas design, but with a twist of other Tim Burton films, such as Coraline, The Corpses Bride, and Alice in Wonderland." He replies in a way that implies he's thinking his idea over.

Oh I forgot to mention spamming is 1 billion percent aokay whether its questions, interactions, or anything. These type of things always make the next big part of the writing so much better coz it gives my inspiration and hope!

Virgil the others are all awake and talking to thomas. You able to build enough courage to join them or are you gonna keep out of the way for a bit?

He turns his head quickly. "What!? Talk to....No! I mean maybe later on, but most definitely not right now! I'm still getting use to this whole ghost thing and everything 100 times my size!" He takes a few deep breathes. "I'll stay out of the way for now. The others may trust him but I'm not that familiar with Thomas. I barely trust you voices, honestly I have no choice though when it comes to listening to you.....whatever you are. I'm just glad your voices aren't so loud as Thomas and my parents voice are at this size." He turns back to his little drawing on the sticky note he managed to grab. He felt pretty safe behind the entertainment stand, though the buzzing sound of the wires were a bit annoying, it was quite relaxing.

AN: I realize I forgot to mention the characters can be interacted with. Though response will very, though keep in mind where each side is. Virgil is in the living room while everyone else is upstairs in Thomas' room. Currently Roman is passed out but he can be awaken.

Rules for interacting:

-No God moding. Meaning no claiming to be the all mighty over the characters (even im not that and I'm the writer)

-Always state any triggers in the beginning.

- swearing is allowed but sensor it.

-changing sides appeared is allowed but in moderation (no making them alive since this is a ghost au and no turning thomas into anything(growing or shrinking a side or thomas is allowed))

- you may form your own being if you please but keep in mind the sides size and how they would react.

As always all questions are open to be answered and yes I'm still working on the sheets and drawings for this au!

Roman and Logan slowly woke up, dazed. They looked around, confused by their surroundings before the day prior events fully caught up to them. Roman quickly jumped up and floated over to Patton.

"Padre! Are you okay?" Roman shouted looking Patton up and down to make sure nothing was wrong.

Patton giggled at Roman and gently grabbed his hand. "I'm a-okay kiddo! But um-" Patton shifted a bit uncomfortably before pointing behind Roman at the open bedroom door. Roman quickly turned around ready to defend Patton from what ever was making him uncomfortable. There standing in the door way was a very shocked Thomas.

"Well hi there." Thomas slowly raised his hand and waved.

Roman froze up immediately. He spun around to Patton and pointed back to Thomas. He tried to speak, but nothing came out before he blackout.

"Well that could have gone better?" Thomas rubbed the back of his neck before moving to sit on the far end of the bed away from the two. "Is he going to be okay?"

Patton gently pulled Roman up next to him under the washcloth. "He did fall against the bed so he should be fine, just a little shocked."

Thomas glanced between the two. "So there is another ghost here?"

"Well two more." Logan stated as he walks out from among the stuffed animals. He had been keeping quiet up until then but figured there was no point in hiding. "Salutations Thomas. My name is Logan." He stated while walking towards the man.

Thomas jumped and turned around so fast his vision went blurry for a second before clearing up to see a small ghost figure on the floor. "Oh well. Hello it's nice to meet you Logan. And who is the prince guy?"

"This is Roman!" Patton replied happily. He was so happy that his friends had revealed themselves to Thomas and he won't have to lie to Thomas about there being any other ghosts. Though Virgil lived with them, too, they opted to leave him out for now until the dear emo was ready.

AN: wow! Okay so a lot has happened since I last updated. From building new furniture in my home, to having my wisdom teeth removed, therapy, and even pulling a tick out of my leg. Things have been rather stressful, but here this is! Sorry for it being so late...now hopefully with everything calming down I can post more regularly. As always inbox is always open and the sides (Patton, Roman, Logan, and Virgil) and Thomas are open for questions.

Patton takes a quick look down at Roman and Logan all curled up in the stuffies fast asleep. "I would love for them to meet Thomas fully like I have, but I get their hesitation against it. I was lucky they trusted me so much when I was still alive, but they are still very cautious." He glances over to Thomas as he returns to the room.
