How long had Victor been stuck up in the tree with Alexander the Great? A few minutes? An hour? Perhaps longer as time seemed to go by quickly the longer they stayed there. His saving grace however came sooner rather than later as he saw the form of William come over. Did Wick perhaps go for help?

More likely than he thought as he waved the man down with relief and gratefulness as he was helped down carefully with the spoiled cat in his arms. He mouthed the words 'Thank you for the help' as much as he could with his stitches as his hands were preoccupied to really sign. Much like in matches, William was reliable in the most unexpected times when you don't know when you will be rescued.

'I always try to people the benefit of the doubt but I have to admit, with Melissa it took some time for me to stop being wary around her- You know, with her ah, connections to the mafia and all that. But in the end, all of us in the manor have our pasts and stories and most of them get left behind when we come here. And she did turn out to be a nice person, so little by little I stopped glancing over my shoulder when I knew she was nearby, haha.'

‘The snow angel? Another tragic story from the hunters’ side. She’s far too young to have had the time to do anything deserving that fate but the longer I spend within the manor, the more I start to feel like hardly any of the hunters really wanted to be here.’

‘Katherine is a sweet one, often going friendly but I sometimes worry of the consequences for going against the purpose of the games like that. I don’t really know her story but she often looks sad when she’s on her own, I think she likes the survivors company as much as the next one. I just think it’s a shame we are on different sides- Outside the games I like hanging out with her but during the matches there isn’t anything I can do but help try to get the win. It makes me feel guilty sometimes but at least I can always find her afterwards and apologize if I ended up stunning her during a match.’

’Andrew? He sure likes his alone time- Again not a bad thing, I just feel like I see him around very little outside the games! Maybe it has to do with how loud I am… I’m plenty aware it can get to be a bit too much for some, mind you! The gravekeeper seems like a nice enough man, although I’ll admit I don’t know him that well. He’s also a rescue so in that sense I can relate to him! And I know he does his best in the games, like everyone else.’

’He seems to prefer dark and quiet over loud and crowded- I’m not gonna make a vampire joke here because that’d just be mean. I also think he’s a very religious man? But that tracks, having a profession so closely connected with the church and all. Luckily there are some survivors who seem to be able to pull him out of his shell, if only a little. It’s not good to isolate yourself for too long, some people just need a little help with that. I think I’d like to talk to him more- Maybe I can find a topic he’d find interesting enough to make him forget about slinking away at the first sight of me, hahah.’

”You mean the name of my team? Rubgy wasn’t that popular yet when I got my invite to the manor so I dunno if you have heard of it but it was called Bull Rush! Not very creative you say? Maybe so but I think it was very fitting, haha.”

(I like to think that if sports teams had mascots in the 18th century, William’s team’s mascot would have been a bull, maybe inspired by Will’s Bull Power skin- or maybe the outfit was inspired by the mascot. Either way I think it’s be cool!)

'Emil is always trying his best- I mean he might not look like it if you don't pay attention or know what to look for but that doesn't mean he's just fooling around. You'll know though if you've been there yourself or are close to someone who was.'

'He makes me wanna cheer him on but since he's the type to shut others out easily I can see how my personality can be a bit of a- clash. I'm real proud of his progress in the games though! He's one of the newer survivors but he's already become an integral part of the rescue rotation- Heh, actually I might even say he's got me beat at my own game. But you don't see him getting cheeky over it and I can respect that.'
