I’m back! My post asking if anyone wanted a Niceart Week in 2016 got positive feedback so I’m going forward with it!

Date: If we keep it similar to this year’s, it would be from the 14th to the 20th of February. If people feel another date would be better, please let me know!

Prompts: I’ll need some prompts to make a poll and in there we’ll vote for seven. If there are too few prompts suggested, or none at all, I’ll just remake the same poll we had this year with some ideas of my own.

(What kind of prompts do we need? For a ship week it’s best if you guys suggest prompts that aren’t very specific. This way, the variety of things one can think of to do for each is larger!)

Hamatora Bread

Pair: NiceArt Summary: Baker!AU (idea from Naisu)

He was here again. Just like per routine.

Nice glanced over at the inspector that was currently overlooking the bread set out on display. The man came often, nearly every other day, at the same time ever since couple weeks ago. He was always dressed nicely with a friendly smile on his face. Art. That was his name, Nice remembered. A prodigy who rose the ranks quickly and was also very good looking. 

What am I thinking? The baker thought to himself, shaking his head. I need to focus.

“Ah, excuse me.”

He looked over at that, to see his costumer approaching the counter. Did he already decide? That was fast. “Yes?”

Art smiled, with a noticeable trait of amusement his lavender orbs. “What bread would be best to take on a picnic?”

“A picnic? Well… I’d say this Kifle bread or the Lepina bread,” Nice suggested. He pulled out some samples for the man to give it a taste. “So what is the occasion, if I may ask?”

After tasting a sample and nodding, Art answered, “First date, actually.”

Nice froze for a second, his heart feeling a little heavy in disappointment. He’d be lying if he said he felt nothing for the man. Over the course time, he found himself growing attached to him and always looking forward to his visits. It shouldn’t be surprising that Art already has someone. I lost my chance. Nice met his gaze with a smile. “Congrats then. Who the lucky one?”

“You.”

A loud clatter was heard when the sample tray collided with the tiled floor after slipping out of Nice’s fingers in shock. Blue eyes were wide, staring right at the man in front of him. “E-excuse me?”

“Go on a date with me, Nice.” There was a faint blush coloring Art’s cheeks as he spoke.

When his mind finally caught up with the situation, Nice let out a soft laugh. “You are far more forward than you seem.”

“Is that bad?” Art asked, a flicker of worry in his eyes.

“No,” he replied revealing a true smile. “Just unexpected.”

The worried expression eased up in relief. “Then, is th—”

Nice cut him off with the dramatic tear of paper from the little notebook meant to keep orders. He quickly jotted down his number and shoving it at the inspector’s chest. “My answer,” he started, “is this clear enough for you?”

Art flipped over the paper and took note of the numbers scrawled across the page. A soft smile passed his lips. “Crystal.”

Nice cut him of by yanking him over the counter and pressing their lips together in a short sweet kiss. Once they broke apart, the baker pulled back with a large grin. “Art,” he started, “was that clear enough for you?” Nice shared a glance with the inspector. “My answer, I mean.”

Art smiled softly. “Crystal.”
