“Not really, no. I mentioned before she was a rescue, her previous home was one with a cruel owner. After treating her injuries and malnutrition, it took a lot of time for her to even let me touch her. I was more focused on getting her adjusted to a normal life than thinking about teaching her tricks.”

What do Ouro, Ruka, and Cora think of Penumbra?

“…Oh, him. Well, he was the only one who could pull off the palace heist in the quickest way possible, so we thank him for that. I haven’t spoken to him much, Ruka seems to get to him before I do.”

“Penumbra is a complete waste of resources, to put it nicely. He pulled off the heist for us, and I suppose it blew up his ego. The smug little bastard thinks he’s entitled to sit around all day, and I swear I’m gonna end up incinerating him one day for the crap that comes out of his beak.”

“He’s annoying as hell, and no matter how many times I say I’m not attracted to men he still thinks he can convince me, or something. Also a lot of the time I can’t tell when he’s flirting with me or mocking me. At least everyone agrees he’s totally insufferable.”

“Uh…I don’t really remember. I’ve had recurring nightmares back when I was younger, but I don’t think they involved any creatures.”

((WE HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT! IT’S CALLED LIAR’S MASQUERADE, OR ‘LIEMASK’ FOR SHORT. IT’S FROM A LEGEND ABOUT THESE CREATURES CALLED SPOTTED LIARS SUMMONING EVIL FORCES THAT STEAL PEOPLE, SO YOU HAD TO DRESS UP AS AN EVIL CREATURE TO DISGUISE YOURSELF! AND YOU GET CANDY BECAUSE SUGAR HELPS REPEL THE EVIL FORCES AND THE SPOTTED LIARS. IT’S MAYBE MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!))

“There was supposed to be some gigantic spotted liar called the Liar King that was killed or something…so after everyone goes around getting candy, they have this giant stuffed effigy brought into the middle of the town for the children to beat savagely with sticks until it breaks open and spills candy everywhere, which is supposed to be like…it’s organs.

Anyways I get into it for the candy.”
