Hello, everyone! Long time, no talk. I would like to take this moment to apologize for having basically given up on this Ask blog—college became pretty difficult for a while and my interest in keeping this all up waned quite a bit. I’m very sorry about that, but good news! A friend is going to take this blog over—you can now send your asks to nancydrewnickerson! Her answers will be different from mine, so feel free to ask the same questions over again, and expect different results (at least, I assume so—there are probably a few interpretations that we agree on)! Again, I’m so sorry for abandoning this blog, but I’m sure the new one will be great!
Have a great 2013!!

We have not, and I don't know if we ever will, only because I think coordinated costumes are a little silly. Although I could see us going as, say, characters from the same television series. I think that could be interesting!
I'd love to go as a character from Doctor Who, because the costumes are fairly easy to get together, but Ned has yet to see the show.
I'll have to talk to Ned (and Bess and George, of course!) what we might do this year.

There are so many great things about Ned to pick from! I have to say, though, that what takes the cake for me is his absolute patience. I'm certainly not the easiest girlfriend to have, and it always blows me away how okay he is with all of my traveling and even the bad luck I seem to carry around with me. I think it's remarkable; I know I'd never be able to put up with me!
And I'm still in high school so I'm not quite studying anything yet, although when I get to college I will probably major in something along the lines of criminal justice.

It's not my problem that you don't have your head in your books! ;] And what about me? You know I love you in a good suit! This is going to be just as distracting for me as it will be for you!
We are—at least, we’re going to Emerson’s homecoming! Unfortunately I haven’t had much time to go shopping yet so I don’t know what my dress will look like! But I’d like to get something lacy—maybe red, because I wore blue last year.

I do celebrate Christmas! And, oh, that's a tough one. I've had a lot of really wonderful Christmases, but I have to say that my favorite was a couple years ago; when I was sixteen, we went out to spend Christmas with Aunt Eloise in Florida and Dad let me bring Bess and George along (this was before I met Ned). The weather was really mild that weekend and we went out and spent some time at Disney World--but even without that it would've been a spectacular Christmas because I was spending it with everyone I loved!

Hi, Dylan! It's great back here--school has started up again, and I'm about to head to Colorado for another case--unfortunately, it's to catch a murderer.
I hope your head is feeling better than it was the last time we spoke!

Oh, I couldn't possibly--that is very personal information! :]
But I will say it was very sweet and a little awkward, but the awkwardness made it all the sweeter. :]

Ooh, I like this question! :]
Well, George had a stint over the summer where she tried to teach herself bass guitar, and she did pretty well, so George on bass, then; and Ned's really great at guitar; Bess has got a marvelous voice; and for me, the triangle! :] No, I'm fairly decent at the piano, so if we wanted to go for a sort of indie sound, I think we could have that covered. :]

Action! The Avengers was one of the best movies to come out last summer!

Ooohh, that's a difficult one.
I think the best thing--and this is going to sound so corny!--was when he took a day off of work in the summer before I started high school, and we drove up to Chicago and spent the whole day together sight-seeing. I love spending time with my father--he's my favorite person on the planet--but he's very busy and I'm also busy, so getting to spend an entire day with him, walking around our state's capitol and visiting the little historical sites, was the best thing in the world.

Is it rather cliche if I say snakes?
#ask-nancydrew#andaubreyishername#((one of the worst parts of TOT was that it made her afraid of mice??))#((like excuse you HER but if Nan's gonna be afraid of ANYTHING she's totally pulling an Indiana Jones and is gonna be scared of snakes))

It was from Ned--he was asking if Dad and I were going to make it up to Emerson for their homecoming game, and I told him that we were, and he said, "Ok! Can't wait to see you then! :D"

Oh, I can't possibly pick! I love all my cases--picking top 5 is hard enough, but bottom five? Just about impossible. :]
