Otherwise, he may have to deal with that guy himself.....You wouldn't want to be the reason he had to kill the 'just a colleague' in an inhuman manner now, would you? (He'd enjoy a good fight if that man can put up one) Until that decision has been made by him to eliminate that idiot he will be at your side all the time. Why can't you smile and laugh at him the way you do to that snob? He's not jealous! So don't accuse him. "Eh? What now princess? Me, jealous?.... Heh, I think it's him who should be jealous of how close I am to you~" Just hide it, Childe...Hide it...You don't want to be caught....that man will disappear soon... soon...no one can save him.

"Wanderer....it's just a colleague" Wanderer scoffs and looks at you with narrowed eyes and gritted teeth behind his bored frown. While he's got you pinned onto a wall in a secluded area he managed to get you in and away from that asshole of a 'colleague' he wanted to have a small chat..."Really now? You expect me to believe that lie?" the words left his mouth like a hiss and he moved his face closer to yours so you could see the annoyed look in his eyes. Moments ago (before you were captured in Hat guy's wrath) you were chatting with a fellow akademiya student. You didn't notice it but Wanderer was there too....not that you could see him, since he was hiding and observing you closely as you nodded at the man as he talked. Why were you looking at the dumbass like that? You are supposed to look at him like that, with those cute eyes that light up, and that soft smile that he so badly wanted to kiss. But no. You only just realized he was there when Wanderer harshly grabbed you by the arm and took off with you. "Does he really deserve your attention? He's a nobody...with a big dream thinking he can steal you away from me..." Under all the hate his eyes show, you can see he truly cares about you, that way his voice softens, and the sincerity in his touch. Answer the way he wants, and he'll forget about it for a while...just don't make the same mistake twice.

"Wha- Lyney!...Stop...it" You try to push him off as he showers you with an unexpected bunch of kisses and hugs. Where did he even appear from? "Mm~ Mon chéri~ I'm just showing my love for you, since when were you embarrassed by that? Hm?" He wrapped his arms around your waist as he hugged you from the back. This wouldn't be bad, not at all, you would love this....if only he wasn't doing this right in front of your colleague. "Uh, I'm not. It's just....I was a bit busy talking to someone...who is still here". Lyney looked up, he was fully aware of that rodent standing beside you, the entire reason he was doing this was to give that man a hint. Unconsciously, he wrapped his arms around you tighter. If your colleague wasn't getting the hint, you sure were. He's jealous....a rare sight for the seemingly deceitful and playful magician. While you were thinking about your discovery, Lyney coldly stared deep into the man's eyes, his small smile on his thin lips didn't quite fit. His thoughts ran wild. Where should he hide the man's body once he disposes of this garbage? Should he let the Fatui deal with him? Are you closely attached to the man? Eh, it doesn't matter if you are, the only person you need in your life is him. He snapped out of it as you spoke "Well we should be going, see you later". You waved goodbye to the male colleague and turned to Lyney with an exasperated look. Lyney just chuckled and held your cheek softly in his hand, giving you a quick peck on the nose. "That man.....He isn't annoying you....is he?"

A shade of pink crossed his cheeks as he looked away. "No, you don't, it looks cute on you!" You smiled brightly as your arms wrapped around his neck and you pulled him into a hug. His blush darkens and grows to his ears. He slowly puts his arms around your waist and sighs softly. "I...I'm not cute"

"Xiao!" You heard someone shout your ex-lover's name which snapped your attention to the balcony of the Inn. There he was....he turned his head away from the scenery to look at....a girl? She was holding a plate of almond tofu....You used to make so much of those for him......You couldn't hear what they were saying but....Xiao's demeanor.....It was so soft and sweet. The girl put the plate of food onto the table and ran into his arms. Xiao...hugged her back?! You clenched the collar of your shirt with your hand in disbelief. It took him 4 months to find a new lover.....Were you just nothing to him?

You put your head down to see a spot on the ground wet...gradually there was a puddle of tears on the ground. So this is why he was in such a hurry to break up with you....He found a better lover, someone who could replace you in an instant. You looked up at them with tear-filled eyes, your vision was blurry but you could still make out the figure of the two people hugging and kissing. "Such a happy couple". You wiped your eyes and turned your back on them walking with your arms loosely by your side.

A smirk spread across her lips and she leaned closer to you with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Oh no, HuHu what are you up to?" You smirked back at her, she was smart, even though it did not seem like it. She always got into trouble. 

"Oho~ And why would you think that? I'm just staring at a gorgeous girl~" Her blood-red eyes looking into your soul. You blushed and looked away "...H-hey let's just keep walking, ahaha-" You were cut off mid-sentence by a tug making you stumble backward. "Lest...that you don't feel the same....I'd be happy to know that you understand my true feelings...". She put an arm around your waist to give you balance and pulled you closer to her. Her hot breath hit your cheek, and even though she was still smiling evilly, you could tell she was nervous. "Here I am, putting my heart in my hand, I want to be yours utterly and completely...and I want you to be mine.....I love you, Y/n-"

You loosely held your pen as you stared off into the distance as the substitute teacher spoke. What was she yapping about? You stared down at your paper and looked at the small doodles your friend made in your notebook. The corners of the page were a bit scrunched and folded up, and your notebook was a mess, yet that didn't stop your friend and seatmate from adding more mess to it. "Hey, why don't skeletons fight each other? Because they don't have the guts".

You heard a raspy cold voice nudge your attention back to class. "Eh? That one was alright" You smiled slightly and put your chin in your palm so you could face him. "You're saying I'm getting better? I guess practice does make better" He looked at you slightly more softly with his orange and honey-colored eyes. "Oh god no, no, don't tell me more jokes." Cyno's delicate fluffy hair rests on his shoulder he shakes his head and sighs. "Then at least pay attention in class-" Before he could say another word the teacher spoke and dismissed the class. "Hah, I didn't have to" You looked at him with a smirk, he just looked away and packed his stuff. "Nari pestered me to keep you up to track with the work." He replied to you slowly as he slung his bag onto his shoulder. "Huh?! He's that worried about my studies?" You looked at him in disbelief to which he shrugged his shoulders.

"I honestly wouldn't be worried but as far as 'cyno' you do well in some...stuff" Other than his horrible pun in the middle of the sentence you were thinking as you two walked out of the campus. It was a routine you two would walk back to your apartment and Cyno would stay awhile until your roommate would come back. Your roommate would tease the shit out of both of you, that bright green-eyed gremlin. Cyno noticed that you grew quieter so he shuffled towards you as he hid his slight blush. "Ahm, Are you a loan from the bank? Because you have my interest" He quickly snapped his gaze into another direction before you could see his bright red cheeks.

You smiled ear to ear before chuckling and poking his arm "Wow you do rizz jokes now?". You started laughing and lighting up to your comment.

Cyno peered at you in awe as you laughed and smiled......God I'll tell billions of jokes to see you smile and laugh. "Heh, I'll do any type of joke....to make you happy".
